Yandex Browser for Android

This has been my default browser for a long while now on all platforms I use , it just works, (Mac, Windows, Linux, Android), hooked up to yandex mail too for years now. When I look at the browser on my phone (Android 8) and tablet(Android 11, soon 12), there are a few features missing on the tablet such as incognito mode, dark theme, download manager, smart camera, my data(can't access my cards) but it's the same version of browser on both, please fix this inconvenience, thanks.

Guys, if you want to be better than others, work on it! I want to support local software, but Chrome is 1) faster opening pages 2) no 1 sec waiting while return on just opened tab 3) no 4 pop ups 4) adblock really doesn't work, vice versa i start to see much more Yandex Ads. Do you think users stupid and will not notice that? 5) still didn't find button to check history fast & open recently closed tab 6) too big panel on bottom. Better to add choice: keep it on bottom/top Please fix it all!

Best browser! Please add a feature to move bookmarks in and out of folders - there are several other open source chromium-based browsers which have this feature already, so perhaps you's could just cherry-pick their commits on github and start from there? And thank you for finally fixing the 'save as PDF' feature that had been broken for 6 months.

after the last update I can't download any files. also the " save for offline view" feature takes a lot of time to save the page. Edit: the downloading works now after i reinstalled the browser for the second time.

Auto zoom in when type in a text field, very annoying! In my experience, it happened on facebook embedded pages. Never happen on any other browser. Now it's sovled, thanks for your quick response!

I'm not able to open and use some extensions despite having it "added to chrome". Those extensions are not being displayed among the list of extensions I can open. Please, fix this. I love this browser, though

The best Android browser with a very useful internal translator and a very accessible task bar and a well designed UI. I downloaded it after trying many browsers eversince none of them have been meeting my expectations and needs combined but this one has all the things I always have desired and it's a great experience. Thank you Yandex to well concern your users needs.

⭐Glitch After Glitch!⭐Time to say goodbye? OK, after two weeks of errors its time to review... The desktop version has stopped acknowledging saved passwords! Constantly informing me saved password incorrect??! The Captcha only sends you to a blank page??? The device version totally deletes your folders and replaces it with the link extension you chose to save to your home screen. No excuse for this! Developers have been informed today waiting for a reply.

Well, thinking it was designed to block ads, I mean ALL ads especially youtube annoying ads, but it apparently does no such thing, the more ads you allow the more money you make so it's all a scam. Give me one good reason why would I want to use it? I have no need for it, I can just use YouTube own app.

Alright, so, issues 1: opening pages is slow as heck. It. Is. Slow. 2: there is no way to change the language. N o n e. 3:adblockers do nothing. I still see ads. I don't recommend this site if your looking for adblocks or privacy, as I have not seen much to prove it does a good job.

This browser is becoming more shittier everytime an updates comes. I can't even express my dissatisfaction with the app. Is it the way it lags? Or the way the app is slow? Or the adblocker that does nothing? Or the way it consumes RAM and closes all music player playing in the background? Just, please, work on it. Thanks

The browser is amazing i could use the browser extensions I have been using on my laptop. The only thing that bothers me is the Read Aloud feature. Is there any way to change the voice because all my books are in english and it does not sound right to be read in a russian accent.

I really like the yandex browser Works well stable reliable and easy to use I do like the settings options a lot and the UI is good and ad blocker does work unlike most other browsers (adguard) This browser definitely a good browser I think it's the best overall browser on Android There is definitely room for improvement an a gamer would like a flash player that can play browser games in the browser like Adobe flash player and Java games many games that this browser does not support :(

Best browser yet, I like the Yandex search, it gives results I struggle to find with Google. I just wish the language integration was better. However, Russian results are translated on the fly. If they can fix the language integration, IE better search results based on local, I'd give the extra star 🌟

Edit : 3.2 GB RAM something left. Edit : There is problem with download feature, first notification bar for download doesn't work even download progress complete and file is downloaded successfully. But after i downloaded some file more, the file i downloaded isn't appear and even exist in my file manager. sometime this browser closing/disabling extension that i using to. Idk what's wrong with this and this pretty annoying tho to enable each extension.

Great browser, fast, efficient and with a lot of great features. Just wish you could select multiple bookmarks to delete and that it wouldn't scroll back up to the top after deletimg. I have so many I want to delete but it is just too hard to bother.

No normal night mode. If developers didn't know what is "night mode", I'll explain - it's when all the web content is in dark mode and not only browser's home page. Response: I will try to improve my rate in future. I use only yandex browser so it would be really great to be able to use it at night as well.

Cons: That'll be nice if it supports keyboard hotkeys like Ctrl-F (to find on page), Ctrl+MouseScroll (to change scale) etc. This could make it possible to use the browser in Samsung Dex mode. Pros: This browser works much more convenient way with browser tabs than Samsung Internet browser in Dex mode.

I heard this browser has unlimited number of tabs so I gave it a try, it looks very nice but there's no text size change and dark mode for websites, they are two must-have features for a browser. Keep up the good work 👍

Everything on the home page is in Russian and no option to translate into English. Is this going to change soon? Browsing is good and searches are very quick. But I would also like to read the Russian content.

Oh dear me now placed ads on the app such things that can follow one around! Next all of a sudden everything is in Russian but previously I managed to change it back to English I assume this may have something to do with all the bad situations going on at the moment WITH that in mind and for some reason unable to change language back to English think it's time for this app to go and the browser is now a whopping over 600mb too do I call time on the email app too are we safe using these apps????

This is my first time of using yandex browser and I must say that it is a worst experience and not friendly to use as compared to kiwi. It amazes me how all tabs closes suddenly and I have to struggle each time to reopen over and over again. This should be fixed because if it continues, I might end up uninstalling the app.

At the begging gave yandex 5 stars amd recommended everyone to use it. After weeks of using it the browser buggy. Yandex zen feed can't be disable weather and time widget can3 be disable makeing the browser havey. I sent developer many emails trying to fix these isssue but no anwser. The one star only for supporting extensions if i found any other browsrer work with chrome extension in many devices i will be glad to change to it. If yandex wont fix the experience then better to delete it

It would be nice if the preference: English language be honored throughout the app. There is that News Feed section which is in Russian or some other Cyrillic alphabet, that would be fine if I could read it, but alas I do not know the language.

Hello development team. The app itself is good. Please don't ignore my request. I ask you to change the logo of the application. Я instead of Y. Your browser called Уяндес or Яндекс. I think the second is correct. I like English language but this is in appropriate. Additionally this letter Y looks terrible on the shortcut. Best wishes, Tseliapun.

I'm still love using this browser for almost 7-years due to its mechanics and features both Cellphone and Computer. I hope you can develop this browser to become more simple, reliable, and easy-to-use, especially for beginners and old-users. I wish you upgrade the yandex options/settings into a categorical form than scrolling. I have many problems with add-ons and extensions when I am using third-party app (such as free download manager, Internet Download Manager, etc). Thank you.✊😎

It's good that you can install some Chrome extensions on it and you can choose to not save history. But the buttons layout are inconsistent in different situations, and you can't arrange those buttons. Every time you try to add a page to bookmark it asks you to login/sync, there is no folder option for bookmark. "Tableau" can't be edited (e.g. rename) It doesn't ask whether you wanna save individual password on specific pages.

I would like very much to see tablet view (for tabs) also available for phones and to allow the bookmarks bar for phones! Update: it is impossible to get rid of the zen news feed on the new tab window. It is useless and annoying for someone who does not speak russian. Also the content blockers do not block ads anymore. And only a few can be installed indirectly from the Google chrome extension store. Also, I see no option to turn on extensions in private mode.

This is my all time web browser. I would like to suggest that you add an option to duplicate a tab in this android version. I have to copy a web address and paste it in a new tab, its not hard or time consuming, but adding a "duplicate tab" option would bring a better experience. Thank you.
