Yandex.Browser Lite

I wrote a review of Yandex today but for some reasons it got removed. This is a very fast and feature rich browser. I highly recommend it if your usual browser is struggling with multiple pages. The landing page, which can be off-putting for some, is in Russian. But this can be changed from the settings. The browser otherwise is in English but this can also be changed to your own tongue. Thank you Russia, with love from Turkiye.

I was looking for a fast browser that doesn't take up to much storage space. This is perfect, just what I was looking for. Yandex Browser lite loads pages fast. It sort of like a less feature packed version of the Yandex browser (which is an amazing browser, check it out). I can't think of any drawbacks except the lack of features; but it's a lite browser. What do you expect?

Yandex Browser lite is faster and good for android 5.1 Lolipop version best futures you get update that default Browser, easy to use very lite.

If only you made another lite browser with aesthetic and fluidity in mind. Hermit (>5mb) and Opera Touch are both lite. And they both have features that enhance fluidity greatly. Opera Touch's fast navigation is superior in tab navigation and modern. Hermit's "lite app" feature enables one to replace storage hungry apps and reopens another window. Hermit's ability to show settings with a side swipe in the lite app does away with cog wheel/hamburger menu; thus enhances fluidity.

No ability to find text in a page. To search for a word.

I use Yandex Mail, Yandex Disk, the Yandex Browser and Translate and Weather and I think this Lite Browser is really very fast -but the search results are obviously targeted at russian speakers, it's not enough to just translate the name of the app and the description in the Play store. I give 3 stars for the performance and too show my positive attitude towards your services in general, but I think presenting the app for a non-russian-speaking audience in the app store is missleading

Has good features but it needs improvement. Not all the items on the homepage are consistently labled. some links are clear and easy to understand where others are labled with "DESCR_..." the voice search feature doesn't work as it speaks another language and there could be a night mode with accessibility features in the accessibility section.

Language is limited to Russian. This is a GREAT LIMITATION to your app. Allow free language choices or stay limited.

It's practically unusable if you don't understand Russian. I understand it's basic and light but there's absolutely no available options. The only browser I could find was Yandax and that again was in Russian. It's probably fine for the Russian market but internationally???? I just don't get it.

Noble effort to do a lightweight web browser. But maybe they went too far on the simplification to the point of sacrificing the options settings (they're very scarce) and the option to synchronize with a Yandex account to import bookmarks and open tabs from other Yandex Browser

Just installed it. Truly compact and hence worthy of 5 stars as I wanted a very compact browser. YET I have given only 3 stars because being in Russian I find it very difficult to use! Please make it fully English so that all English speaking people can use easily and often as is the case with other lite browsers like Opera-mini, Duckduchgo, Firefox lite etc. By the way you appear to be most compact/lite. Trust you will look into this make it fully English without compromising its liteness

The app is excellent. Very quick and responsive. Just there should be a possibility of choosing other search engines, as the Russian Yandex is not very useful for users from other countries.

Smooth browsing and streaming, it feels so light. The only problem is the search results appear in Russian, and I have no idea how to change it - Settings doesnt help much.

I've installed uninstalled yandex browser and this light version over 25 times and counting. All because love their browser, hate the support team. Always about the language issue. In Russian, support says to do this or that and it Never works. They want screen shot of issue. With all the complaint about language issue it be fixed, Right??

Nice light weight browser. The only problem whenever I open YouTube video in full screen and after returning to short screen i couldn't write because no keyboard appears, untill i open another tab and return to YouTube search. Please fix this issue otherwise a great browser

The description of this apk is in English but does not tell us that there are no settings option for English users. And if there are such options, then please explain it clearly in order that this "lite" browser version can be adjusted to the user's language. Otherwise, please say "Russian ONLY". I had to download this app in order to learn that it is fairly useless to non-Russian speakers. :(

Apparently when they say 'lite' what they mean is that you can't change a single, solitary setting. But more than anything, when you're using a Yandex app, you're getting a million unavoidable ads and redirects to shady Russian sites. Whatever lousy browser you're trying to escape by using Yandex, Yandex is much much worse.

Yandex has a superior image search to Google, & does not censor websites out of their results, & it's so lite it doesn't even show up in my top 20 largest filesize apps. However, I cannot change the language of search results from Russian to English, meaning I have to open Google in a tab to search for information.

It's good for surfing the web but it's very basic.I can't block ads.I can't view downloaded files.I can't cancel downloads if i want to.Besides i don't understand Russian so that's another problem.Thanks for your response.By the way it'd be great if your team developed an app for learning Russian. I'd love to learn Russian from yandex apps

Nice but need more improvements Edited - i think it clearly need some inportant features like nightmode, ad blockers and little upgrade of user interface. Some news sites loads slower. Still then, i find helpful using google website in yandex lite ....

the best browser . low storage . good speed . but there's a problem . don't understand the Russian language so I found it difficult to use . plz repair that and add the English language XX

Cannot change the search engine.... No free choice

I like Yandex Browser Lite but this browser keeps on crashing. I don't know what's the problem. My phone is 1gb ram and it is an Android 6.0. I hope it will fix the problem soon. Spasiba.

Please include more features in the app like history, download, vpn and something more. This will inhance the reach of your app. I want to suggest you, to make these changes as soon as possible because in india,uc browser is banned. And many people used to use it. But not they have not much options remained. Very few people know about yandex or use it. So, please,make your app more feature full. This is best chance to reach its popularity.

Really fast, but needs more English/Language options. And what i mean by that is in many places across the app Russian is your only option.

Smooth run and fast but no settings for language and needed a lot more interface settings and customization like an option to move search bar at the top, tabs management, etc.

This is a GEM, it gives more accurate and way more pictures and photos then google or other websites, AND FASTM the only downrate us the language, i openedit and it was russian/ukraine, my phone default languange is english. But I'll still give it a 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
