Uh, I dunno guys, it just doesn't work - the generated keys are said to be incorrect, which I've somehow solved by re-adding account to the app, but then it was broken again after I've tried to add another device. It feels really unreliable 😞
That was great application before but after it was updated the application doesn't work anymore. The passwords which this application generates doesn't allow you to sign in your account but I'm sure that I entered the correct pin-code because the service of restoring the password got the same pin-code and allowed me to create a new password. I think that I should reject using this application until the developer will solve the problem.
App just stopped working. It says "an error occurred" and don't get launched. I lost an access to my resources :( Upd: there are many "logcat" applications in store. Should I use exact one? I tried to record something with one of them, and it produced empty log.
Like many other Yandex apps this one is very intuitive and easy to use, with clear UI and sensible options. I've been using it for all my 2 factor authentication instead of Google Authenticator and never regretted choosing it.
Guys beware about yours backups. "If the backup was not found, .. — either it is linked to another phone, or its storage period has expired (it is a year from the date of creation or last use). - dev. answer" Like w.t.f. Hey how about telling about it in reminder developers? 3 star for this cr@ppy surprise!
The worst ever security system. It just doesn't work. I cannot add device to the account via QR code. I sent you 10 times the request to change me to the traditional password back. No, you just ignore me
Yandex locked me out on my laptop. I did 2FA and yandex key and they still wouldnt let me in. I had to register again but my files and photos in the disk are lost forever. You need to fix this immediately. Google does the same thing and I hate google. Now I dont want to use mail or any thing else. I cantbuse disc anymore because of what yoi are doing. O will keep the browser on my laptop but afraid to use anyrhing else. Please fix immediately!
Super old design. No dark theme. Can't set up two-step verification for yandex accout (this app cannot scan the code from yandex).
I backed up all my Two factor authentication keys. But after I reinstalled the app, all backups has gone. It's not good. You guys should take care of User's information.
It does not synchronize with other yandex services installed on the phone. To use it for login you have first to login to it. Very funny, thanks for help
Super. I think this is one of the best and easiest key system. Not sure if work with others but with Yandex, it's as smooth as just seeing the qr-code. Great!!
Forced and unnecessary, yet another authenticator to install that does the same thing as the one you already have and use for virtually everything else, developer should incorporate the functionality in their other apps or support third-party authenticators (e.g. Google Authenticator) like virtually everyone else.
Yandex puts out another winner! Their implementation of 2 factor authentication is easy to use and secure. Loving it.
Codes for Yandex are non-numeric which means one is forced to use their app rather than one's own preferred authenticator app. On top of this, the app has issues with international phone numbers and backup.
So sorry, made a mistake. I was posting a comment about the Yandex translator. This is a teally great app too. i like the back up feature which allows uou to access your codes even after changing your phone.
After activating the 2Facror Authentication, the One time password generated in this app is not working and hence couldn't login to my account anywhere.
Works and necessary to secure the supreme champ Yandex mail. If you don't know why Yandex mail is the best, then you haven't done your research
Doesn't work for me at all. QR code not recognized, one-time password not recognized, pin-code not recognized.
Forced unnecessary proprietary something instead of appropriate open AND secure solution. By the way, why does it require contacts permission?
An app that is secure, works perfectly, love the feature where your avatar at Yandex mail appears in Yandex key, very reliable app!
I really like this app it works flawlessly and supports backups, qr code scanning is quite convenient when using my laptop
This is stupid app that i use. Now everyone use information as mobile work, delayed information means going away but Yandex do other way they prevent to get information.
maybe it's a finally time for a new features? maybe it's a time for new more intuitively interface?? maybe it's a finally time to move on this great tool to a new level???
Stupid system. It works one out of ten times. Password is incorrect. I don't get how it works.
the usual application for generating 2FA keys and passwords, but with the possibility of backups, which google does not have
worst email i worked with,and the yandex key always not working. lost 2 accounts and not going back again, bye.
Please add multi device support. I'd like a copy of the app on my pc or tablet, so I can still use it if my phone is destroyed or stolen. Maybe even have a web based authenticator? A browser plugin?
Best secured app for authentication. I like Russian developer. I think they are super hero.
IMHO, it needs to be a bit smarter. And, probably, it's not this app's fault. When I'm sitting on my computer and using my phone, the apps that depend on this (mail, drive, etc) ask for the token way too often. They should learn my metadata (ip, browser, OS, etc) and decide if I am me more often. I don't have a bad opinion on it but it's just a bit annoying.
