Tried Apex, Nova and others and ended up liking this one the best. Unique and very cool while being intuitive and easy. The only thing I wish it could do but can't is to allow you to change app names both on the home pages and the app drawer. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
It's a descent app....but I do manage to have a problem. It continuously crashes after a short period of time in use. I've managed to get this app on my new phone, an it works,but its getting to be very aggravating due to the constant crashes its been doing lately. Please contact me or reply back as soon as you are capable of finding a solution to this problem
Hi Dev, this is very nice shell I have been using since Nokia time. Is it possible to have its 3D widgets like contracts, birthdays, moon phases etcetera without this shell. I an unable to use the shell (launcher) as the home screen dies not stay for long even if I have set it the default launcher.
Since Yandex acquired SPB, almost took my love of SPB Shell but not quite. It needs to have the option to have to spb look to it from the ground up. I am able to get most of the look because I've still got spb shell. I can pull MOST of what I want but can't start from scratch and get the look I'm personally looking for. So, YANDEX you almost got it but not quite for me.
Opening simple web browser and typing url makes somehow keypresses "bleed thru" the open web browser app and get detected as touches by the launcher which is in the background and should not receive any events. As you can see it doesn't bleed thru google play as it would be impossible to type without triggering app icons on launcher surface... Alcatel c7 onetouch, 4.2.2 stock, stock web browser. Fix it and you get 5 stars.
This is a fantastic launcher. Lacks a few customization options that I would like such as home button and power button behavior, but has what a lot of others charge for like folders in app drawer and widget customization. Slows down a little over time but I have not restarted my phone since I made it My default. As improvement I suggest more folder display/customization options and more frequent updates.... Great job developers!!!
Yahoo! Aviate might be savvy & stylish, but I prefer Yandex.Shell better.Unlike generic launcher that I've tried so far, there's no ads: one of the benefits of choosing trusted names. My apps too are now better organized: loves the stacked-group function very much. The panels & carousel function are also creative ideas. My suggestions are that 1. Provide themes 2. Made more specific local weather (I live in Arau, Malaysia, but since there's no local weather, it shows Alor Star instead). Tq fer d nice app 👍
I used almost all, android launcher. But this one is impressed me because this smooth to use and good icon design is very simple, and like official and lot of web News's are there so total its very good ....
1 Issue encountered: drag and drop feature to uninstall app from app drawer is not working. This is the launcher in beta mode and still so impressive. I am eagerly waiting for next update with more customization options specially for icons and drawer background. Great work so far Developers. When will we get the next update?
On Motorola Droid Maxx Love the launcher but since ~2/27 its a been none stop crashing. Uninstall and reinstall made it worse. Now all apps do not show in app drawer. This launcher is really due for an update. UPDATE: As of 3/17 it is now working correctly after update was issued.
It's a nice launcher no doubt. But it still having some bugs such as after cleaning background apps it always show loading home screen always whenever I exit from any application.... So plzzzz fix this issue
It freezes my phone. It's a nice imitation to the shell 3d, and it's free. The shell is costly. But it has glitches. Glitches to where it makes my phone look and feel as if it was a flip phone. I a have a note 3. Fix please. I had to uninstall from my family's phone because of this. We all have the notes. 2 3 n 4.
Except weather widget is always say heavy rain even if no rain at all just cloudy is not good enough
I just love this Launcher. I have upgraded my phone to Android 6 and not able to use this, PLEASE Add support for Android 6 (Marshmallow).
When I hit my home button it tells me that yandex isn't available and asked me to retry or choose another home launcher. That's the ONLY issue which isn't that big cause I an just hit the ask button but please fix
"yandax shell has stopped working" everytime i unlock my device or leave an app. it closes and opens my default launher of the device- damn
If you like a multi-screen launcher with plenty of scope for altering and adding to, this for you. Has a definite retro style or perhaps its just old! I also use Mini-Home, to have both extremes of the launcher world.
Nice launcher. But fix these: make it possible to have only one home screen. Secondly, include contact number to show when open contact. Thirdly, include option for more dock. Fourthly, make it possible to remove weather in home screen, it consumes battery and data. Fix all these and i give 5 stars!
Provide option to hide status bar.problem of this luncher is consume so much battery and ram also. reply on this

When I choose it as the default luncher and then I want to clean applications at the background, this application is also disabled. Please fix this problem.
Its very nice launcher but there should need materialize effect and vertical scrolling in app drawer and need contextual effect like recent apps etc. And no update since long time please update it.little leggy please update regular to alive such wonderful launcher.
Its an one side app smooth easy to use... animation are classic... but need some more updates for theams n more animations like SPB shell or some other ui updates... if u can update it soon as possible beczz thr r limited options for this launcher which founds bit boring.... thank u
If only loading the shell wasn't problem every time I close an app...
This is the best launcher of all i have tried and i mean all,every single one i have tried does not come close to Yandex even the paid for ones just one thing how do i set my defaults to open with Yandex instead of say the built in alarm. Thanks I have had time to use it ,still good but it keeps refreshing itself everytime i open my phone saying yandex is starting.I might not put up with this for much longer.
