good application, but some strange things... no settings for setting more adequately the speed of the voice which talks too quick or too slow. After translating a picture, impossible to remove some words hiding the translated text... (could have used a drop-down menu instead) and it's really boring to translate many pictures, as we have to clic on many menus for each picture (like it can't memorize the last pathway). And no option for learners (no diacritics for accentuation...)

Love this splendid translator. Using it all the time on a daily basis as I am a russian, living in UK, and I need to know English as good as it possible. It helps me a lot to improve my English language skills. Translation provided by this translator is accurate and impressive in both ways (English-Russian and vice versa) and it's getting better and better every year. Highly recommended.

Well I just updated the app and now whenever I copy some text on a different app the Quick translation feature just says text can not be translated, before the update this never happened and the Quick translation features is literally one of my favourite things ever that I use on my phone daily, so yeah maybe fix it team Yandex. I just sent a suggestion with video example of the problem. Today is 24.5.2022 and the issue has been fixed. Great work.

I switched to it from Google Translate because it suits me better. It has an excellent offline mode with automatic language detection. The application has a built-in ability to translate from images (this is not accurate, but at least gives you an idea of what is written in the stores of Georgia). The user interface looks good, especially in dark mode. Web version has more to offer (e.g. autocorrection)

This app should definitely get more stars than Microsoft's translator. When you're translating something, you can input the sentences using different methods, such as typing or speaking, and if you also want to know how the texts are pronounced, you can simply click the speaker button. It's perfect for me to study French. Because I collect random French dialogues from games and I translate them to improve my vocabulary.

This app really helpful for language learners. Also, it has plenty of beneficial functions. So far, I've learned a huge number of words as well as phrases which are helped me to improve my writing and speaking abilities. I recommend you install this translate right away! BTW, there is no ads.

Solid translation app, I use it every day. The context given for translated words is fantastic. One request: long press on a "Recent translation" from the main screen to delete it from history, the same as can be done by going to the History through the Collections button.

Apparently, the offline translations not even working. When I tried to translates the word from Japanese to English, both the collumn shown in Japanese eventho I'd already download the Language Pack. Kinda ironic because the app icon shown あ(A) while the Japanese translations all messed up. I'd just gonna try and giving this app second chances with using the camera translation feature. Probably gonna be better than Google Translate in these kind of translating the images

It's a terrible application. It has designed for Russian language. In other language, it's not showing any definition of words, synonym and so on. It's only translating. So, I didn't find it fascinating. My experience was worst.

Quick translate keeps saying "text can not be translated". Even in the normal translate window, it invariably shows "internet error, click to retry" so it's now routine to always click retry even when the internet is working perfectly fine Edit: the 3 missing stars are for quick translate, only that

Best app I've seen so far for translating Russian to English and vice versa. My only point of dissatisfaction with it is that when translating a word with a stress mark (for example, образо́ванная) the app only presents a literal translation, without a semantic definition and a list of synonyms, as it usually does. Without the availability of these features, it is often difficult to ascertain the exact meaning of a word, as there are a lot of synonymous and semantically-varied words in Russian.

Very useful app. It saves favorites, has phrase collection. No ads. The camera does work, but sometimes stops my background music. Haven't tried the voice input, wish it had more voice options, and I tried installing other voices but kind of messed it up. Idk what I'm doing, and I'm sure it's my phone. I think my built in tts is just confusing. Otherwise it seems accurate, I know not all translations are exact, so it's a matter of finding the right words. Useful for русский. спасибо яндекс

Formerly, I was able to copy IPA writings in the app and now it doesn't do anything when I press on. I'r like it to turn back immediately, without it, the app lose all charm for me. Besides, the new boxes in which the translations are, definitely are so small for choosing and even reading on a phone. Please make them a bit bigger for more comfortable use.

Left Google translate for yandex translate. Well done Yandex for creating an Easy simple and effective fast translator with a tap to translate feature. Wish I used this in the past instead of the horrible and difficult Google translate interface.

It's good although after my fiancée said she had a tasty lunch. When I wrote back to say you're making me hungry (being humorous) what was translated was... you're making me starve!!?? Ehhrr? I'm having problems with romantic terms like sweetheart in English or honey translated into Russian. Other times whole romantic sentences get changed to something I never actually wrote in the beginning. I have to use other Apps to double check eveything but don't worry your App still tops them. Pie:cake?

Doesn't even noticing the talk! I press microphone button but doesn't stay on to record the speech. Update! After I restarted the phone still doesn't recognize the speech! Sometimes only first sentence.

Yandex has easily the best translation service available. Could do with voice like Google, but results for text translation are perfect, much more accurate than Google or any other app.

Quite good except it'd be nice to scan the image and then translate instead of instant translation. At least that should be an option like the Google translate app

Great app. Please put in more development into Georgian, especially with the war now. Many are fleeing to Georgia. This is needed urgently. The voice recognition of Georgian is making many mistakes and voice output is still not available.

Microphone cuts off far to quickly so I am having to fight it to stay on, doesnt space the words well, i.e smashes too different words together to make another when it clearly was said well, and ofc doesn't handle fast talkers at all, which is important for languages like Ukrainian and Russian etc most of the people I know speak very fast in there language

The quick translation doesn't work on my A8, but has no issue on my A21. I have to manually open the app, and seldomly the initial translation language prediction is wrong.

Why when I turn the quick translation on the app hangs in notifications bar? It's annoying and thus I just can't use the quick translate function. Please fix this.

Reads Russian good. Using it to translate a Russian Manual. Cameras takes photo, translates it to English then saves translation so I can enter info in word

It's not to be expected that this translator is better than Google's, to the people who maintain this translator I say, keep it up you are doing an excellent job.

Nice app. I would love for it to have the option to screenrecord and automatically translate what's shown on the screen.

I am learning Russian. Another site charges per word to translate my letters back and forth with my friend. This works great. I think it actually translates better than the site we paid to use.
