I like that it is free, the route optimization helps me a lot after selecting customers close to each other and scheduling them together by looking at the map is the best. I haven't tried the invoicing and credit cards features but i will try them in the future. Also the app on the phone is really helpful but it should have an option to show all the notes from previews times.
Get the premium if you are doing a bunch of transactions Can't set up jobs from the app. Have to do it through the website. Can't set up invoices. Have to do it from the website. If it doesn't recognize an adress on the map it won't put the job in the list so you have a chance to miss doing that customer the day it is scheduled. Get empty ghost appointments in the list that have no info. Better than not having it. App is user friendly otherwise. Just need more features for the app.
Been using the app for all 5 min. Had a silly timezone not correct issue but managed to get past that. Then went to experiment with adding a client only to discover that it's not set up for clients in Canada. Only accepts states and zip codes not provinces and postal codes. No settings to change to rectify this. BUT if you add a customer through the website it's allows Canadian customers...... Why have an app when you need to open a web browser anyway
the app is very limited but the online version is spectacular. I use it for all if my estimates, invoicing, and customer follow-up. I just recently started using the integrated credit card processing. I'm able to invoice customers and they can pay through that email with a credit card.
For all things holy, please don't put your employees or yourself through working with this app. 2 years of being forced to use yardbooks I'd sell my left arm to not have to anymore. Jobs set themselves active and inactive by themselves, before and after pictures often don't upload or duplicate befores and Afters, jobs don't complete even when you hit the yes button. I have android, and apparently its even worse on Iphone. If you're intending to make an app for businesses, it should work.
Lacks functionality. The website is good, but the app has lagged functionality for a few years now. The app needs a major upgrade to be competitive with others in the industry.
This is my second year in business and this app has worked break along with their computer application. But the phone app doesn't always update the fastest. When I add a job on the computer and then when I'm done with the job sometimes it still isn't on the phone app to marked completed.
Fairly Great. however there is one MAJOR thing you guys need to please add in a future update and that would be in the field use. please make it to where we can use the app on mobile to do more than just complete jobs or cancel them. I would like to be able to schedule jobs right from my phone. I'm sure not only me but others would love this feature as well. Thanks.
Mediocre at best. It was easy to begin loading customers, but the edits were not so easy. It has proved to be impossible to delete duplications. Creating reoccurring jobs (which ALL of mine are) isn't straight forward. Frustrating. May go back to old school paper calendar!
A great app for my landscaping business! It does everything I need! I would love to see the developers make a version of this for cleaning companies. Like "cleanbook" or something. And make it do the exact same thing as yardbook but focused on cleaning. My wife would definitely download it for her cleaning business!
It's been a nice experience for there's some features that I wish you guys had. It would be nice to where I can send out a mass reoccurrence invoices and the details section that I don't have to keep typing info and it can be autosaved
Its so useful for my Lawn and Landscape company. Honestly I only use it for the lawn mowing side of my bussiness but am thinking about switching it next year and just running the entire business with Yardbook. Another great thing about this tool is its free but even better that it has awesome tutorial videos to train you properly on how to use this tool. This is a game changer its just simply a no brainer get it use it and watch the stress go away and your bank account soar.
Game changer. I was losing my mind over keeping my books organized as I'm new to being an owner. I've learned A LOT about the industry and book keeping from Yardbook. It's extremely user friendly and by far the most prompt support staff I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. If you own a landscape company and aren't using Yardbook, your doing it wrong. probably the best free app that I've used ever anywhere that also has a paid version of course they'll when an app isn't custom-designed exactly for you there's always a little things that you would like to she's different but works really well and free and then I mean there are ad but they're not like crazy amounts that keeps you from getting your job done thank you very much yardbook
I am a solo and proud lawn service provider. Switched from FreshBooks (FB got too expensive). Ads don't hinder me at all. Love that. I like all the features but i just happen to use very little of them at this point in my business growth. I can see them in use as growth happens and my roke changes....if i move in that direction....time will tell. Thanks Yardbook team 😀
Very awesome! So nice that if you own a smaller business as I am, just myself doing under 30 customers, that most of the program is absolutely free to use. These days of technology as it is, that is almost unheard of! I have so much respect and new nope for the future, when I see something rare like this.
Yardbook is the best thing to happen to landscapers. I use the app extensively, but I'm sad to see support has ended. It could really use more extensive functionality, like the website.
I just use the mobile website. Not sure what the app is for. But yardbook works great, not perfect for sure but really well put together software. I subscribe for additional features.
Yardbook has been great addition to my landscaping business, the pricing is very competitive and has plenty of features other companies charge arm and a leg for. Customers always complement on how great our website looks thats provided for free and all the quick book, bank, mail chimp marketing info is great. There are other features I haven't got to but as company grows I hope to use them. Thank you yardbook for your great work.
So far the app is good. I do however wish there was a way to select multiple invoices at once and have them sent to my clients instead of having to select each individual invoice one at a time and sending it.
so easy, lots of tutorial videos. Payments automatically reflect on invoices. Couldn't be more professional looking and basic features are free but I'm going to probably buy premium.
I do not like that emails sent to clients come from a "no-reply" address. I know you can reply but seems every customer ends up calling me to ask . I really like it other than that and it's a shame because I have to go elsewhere because of it. It's adding too much unnecessary work. I understand that they can reply and it goes directly to me but that is not the point. I have since uninstalled. I really liked this app and wish they would fix this . I gave 3 stars in hopes they fix. 1 star now
So far this experience has been great however they don't offer much human to human support watching videos doesn't really create a relationship with customers I'm sure they will keep adding too this and it's definitely great for on the fly stuff mapping routs easy.
Very user friendly and can ask questions to developers anytime. They are always willing to help. Great way to add the leading edge professional touch to your business with a great free software program
A total joke of an app! Nothing works, can't edit a client or property after saved! Can't open a job or select a job from property or client list. I had high hopes for this app, but every second I've spent trying to use this app has been a waste of my time. As a small business owner "time is money" so thanks for robbing me of time I could have used to grow my business! Absolutly the worst app I've ever downloaded!
Needs more accessibility through app! I like that you can clock in and out, the measuring tool is pretty great. But it'd be nice to see what's scheduled on your calendar for the week or month (birds eye view) add things in the schedule, it's a bit plain. Not a whole lot you can do through the app. Also Please allow invoices and receipts to be sent through the phone! It'd save alot of time! I think the website is great! I absolutely love it, keep up the good work yardbook!
