Edit: I got your answer! But my point is that there is already an 'info' button for that information. IMHO it would be really good for the UX if clicking the album art would open the album. Navigating the 3 dots menu every time can get tedious. Really good app overall! Just a single thing I'm missing from the emby app: a quick way to go to the artist or album page from 'now playing', without going though another menu. Would be amazing if clicking the album art would actually open the album!!

This is a great companion app to any media center software. The UI is very polished and I have never had any errors when using the app. I currently use it with my Jellyfin server and it works better than the Jellyfin app itself in some cases.

I used to love this app for kodi in the past, recently tried it again for simple phone casting and it has since got even better. That's an impossible feat since it was already perfect!

I ❤ this app! More than I hoped for, does exactly what I need. I use this with my Kodi library for music, TV and movies and it is so simple to make media available offline and take it with me on my phone or tablet.

Purchased the app but license will not stay. Tried all the troubleshooting steps to repair. No response from the developer to emails. Update: That is the address I've emailed three times. As an aside, why are you so snarky and rude to people who paid you money and express concern when it doesn't work despite extensive "troubleshooting " instructions in your app that clearly indicate that your unlock often does not work?

If you're ready for a paid app that probably won't work then don't bother download this. The free doesn't work...... they probably are after the money not the functionality of the software.

Fantastic control for Kodi. Also integrates with smart watch media controls. I've owned this for years and it's always been top quality. The paid version is definitely worth it!

Far better for me than any app I've tried. Browsing through big libraries is way faster and simpler and has more options for how you might want to browse

I liked Kore, but I was frustrated with some of its limitations. This app does everything I need it to do and more.

This app is by far the best remote control for Kodi I found so far. Totally worth unlocking all features!

One of the best apps I've ever purchased. Very well made. I use it to cast movies and shows from my local NAS to the Chromecasts on my TVs, works great.

This app is awesome. Tons of features, addons, and customization options. I've been using this remote for a year and a half or so and it's gotten better and better over time. The Chromecast feature didn't really work for me at first, and I couldn't cast most media, but now it works pretty great and I am very impressed with how far it has come. The premium version is worth it, Yatse is a far better alternative to the standard Kodi remote application.

I installed this in order to be able to use the smartsync feature with my Jellyfin server. It's doing a great job. I would prefer if it recognised the difference between unrestricted and bandwidth-limited wifi connections as far as whether to download episodes, but given how well it is working, I'm ok with that. I've also gotten more mobile bandwidth recently which has ameliorated that concern, anyway.

I have already said in the past that this is the best app by far. Time has passed by as did the years since I wrote the review below and my only misgiving is that I am limited to just 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ when I would gladly give twice as much! Best remote control app for Kodi hands down! In fact it's the best media remote control app I have ever used. The paid version worth every penny. There is a incredibly amount of settings to get thinks just right for your system. To top it off, updates with new features and bug fixes happen on a regular basis.

Excellent, casts great, controls are brillant, integrates with tasker, does everything I want. Pauses when someone phones me and shows notifications on my tv. Definitely worth the money! You can email the developer and get any question you like answered and there is a solution, he has the magic touch!

Great App, but for all the options, there doesn't seem to be any to make the series progress bar more visible by changing the colour or making it bigger. Also rather than various views showing the rating for a series, I'd much rather see how many of the series total episodes I've watched or have to go (without having to go into the series folder itself).

It works with kodi matrix But cannot play you tube videos(shared from YouTube under play on media centre option.....

this is an excellent app. it does exactly what it says it does. I've been using it for years. I just recently unlocked it, not to get rid of ads, which are very unobtrusive, or to unlock any necessary features, just to show my support for a fantastic, stable, all-round brilliant app. keep up the good work. this is not a paid endorsement, this is truly a great app. I just came back to my review, to make sure it got across how much I love this app. One of 2 apps that I would give 6 stars to.

April 2022 Years later, I stand by this review. I have played with other products (on an iPhone) and nothing matches the ease of use and the depth of features. 2016 Original review: Fully featured, intuitive interface and frequently updated. This is probably the finest Kodi controller available.

My prefered remote control for Kodi. Does everything I need. Improvement updates are timely and show the developers commitment to keeping Yatse running smooth.
