Note: YaV1 requires the V1Connection Bluetooth adapter from Valentine Research (http://goo.gl/8EvHGo) to interface with the Valentine One, which should be a recent Extended Serial Protocol (ESP) model to get the full capabilities. Without ESP, YaV1 will function solely as a remote display. Your phone must support Serial Port Profile (SPP) over Bluetooth; a list of known-good devices is maintained at http://goo.gl/XUYQaO.

I install V1 connection app. This app work. I install YA V1 this app does not work but when I install JBV1 app. The YAV1 started to work. Somehow I think JBV1 make the YAV1 WORK. Make sure you install all 3 app and and accept all term and condition.

Great application
With this app you are able to do manual/auto GPS lockouts as well as make custom sweeps to make the range of the V1 amazing as well as greatly reducing false alerts. If you have a V1 I highly recommend getting the V1 connection bluetooth module and then downloading this app, you won't regret it.
I heard about this app and installed it loved it till yesterday when the manual and auto lock outs stoped working. Please fix. Will give 5 stars in the future if fixed. This app is brocken on my S6 it's gone spastic I have uninstalled it re installed it and it still goes nuts gone thru all settings and nothing :(
Used to work but with this version the GPS lockouts no longer work anymore. Both manual and auto lockouts have no effect on muting the dozens of radar signs and door openers I pass each day. Been seeing these problems for other users for about a year. Francky, the author is absolutely brilliant and I can't thank him enough but it seems he's too busy to support this app and has moved on to other things. I suggest that Francky should sell this software to another developer who can then fix, polish and support
Places the power of the V1 in your hands with a variety of settings. This is the must have app for a V1 owner. Study the forums, learn the tools and you'll be hooked. Solid and fantastic work, donate if you can, I did because it's worth every dime, it wakes up the V1 in so many stellar ways....enjoy
This is a great concept. Adding GPS lockouts makes great sense. With a Nexus 6P, however, how does one connect to the V1connection LE bluetooth? Valentine's OEM app connects instantly to the LE dongle, but if you go to "connect" to the signal using the 6P's bluetooth settings menu, it fails--and indeed the dialogue to "input the password for the connection" never comes up. So it's no wonder YaV1 doesn't see it. Is there additional work that needs to be done to connect reliable to V1connection LE antennae, or does the app just plain require the older bluetooth dongle that also works for apple iphones?
I have been using this app for a while now and I can't live without it! (Okay, I suppose could if I had to, but that's not the point lol) whether you want to keep it high level and use the presets or really get into the details and tweak everything, this app is simple and easy to use!
This app is awesome. When it worked atleast. I got a new phone (Galaxy s8+) it worked just fine for about 2 weeks then as soon as I'd try to open the app it would close immediately. I started playing around with the settings and as soon as I take away the access to the storage it will work. But if it has access it won't work. Very frustrating because it won't save anything that I've modified in the app.
This app turns the V1 into a beast! I do have two requests to make it even better: 1) Under the Specials section in V1 settings, please add a Ka-guard checkbox just as is with pop, tsr, etc. (displayed even while in euro mode) 2) The ability to import profiles from V1 Connection, the App and YaV1(Have been unable to import/export profiles between the two because of error saying not a valid profile file) Thanks Francky and Windstrings! 👍
Would like to see a way of muting the v1 somehow, this app is just amazing and would highly recommend it if you own a v1 just because of the sweeps that you can use, just got a 12km hit using custom sweeps, people get this app you won't be disappointed. Thx Franky keep up the good work.
Tames the V1. Turns everything into useful information instead of just raw data. I loaded all the recommended settings and sweeps; couldn't be happier.
App doesn't function at all on note 5. Shows valentine one as not connected. Used official valentine one app and works fine.
This app used to be my go to app, but sadly it no longer connects. I have the Valentine Bluetooth adapter and my v1 app connects every time. Please update, or let me know how I can fix it.
I've been using YaV1 for a few months and have it tweaked in and working very well. Adds a lot of functions and makes the detector much smarter.
Title says it all. YaV1 does not currently support Low Energy (LE) Bluetooth. This app is useless to me. Please add LE support!
This app is a must have if you own a 3.892 or newer esp valentine1 radar locator. I really like it because it has GPS lock outs.
Seems to like my S6 better than my S4. Chose the v1 over a redline because of this app
Really want to use it for the gps part, but it simply won't connect to my V1. I can't get my phone to link it's Bluetooth to the adapter, so this app fails. The factory app from V1 connects instantly.
Works perfectly with my Nexus 6P. I originally was about to order the Max 360 until I did a good amount of research and learned that the Valentine 1 with this app is the best choice. Glad I went this route.
It works well as a display, but I could never get beyond that on my Samsung galaxy s3. One of the tabs (filters) doesn't display.
this app no longer can connect with the latest android OS and V1 BT-LE dongle firmware. don't bother with it
