Constantly hangs up. Useless.
This app used to work brilliantly. I used it for years without an issue. Now whenever I try to open it, it says "Cannot connect to server. Try again later." And kicks me out. This has been going on for weeks! Very frustrating. I've given up on them ever fixing this. It has forced me to go to the competition. Very disappointing. Before this happened, I would have given the app 4 stars. Now I'd give it zero if I could.
It's simple. When a customer makes a booking, you should respond. Your app does not do that. I get a crappy push notification 20 minutes after my initial booking that you are experiencing "high traffic times". It's Friday, this not new. Your taxi company does not provide a level of service that warrants blocking Uber from our city.
Just like the taxi cartel in Vancouver this app has mixed performance. Maybe one day the mayor and Council if the city will allow hoover. Then we can get some decent competition and maybe some decent service from the taxi cartel.
Ongoing...; same issue as below; booked 6 hours in advance, taxi was a no show, leaving me 30 minutes late for a class. - prior to this; The last few bookings I've made have not been accepted. I've even tried booking 8 hours in advance. Each time YC cars drive by me empty and will not stop when flagged or, after waiting 15+ minutes, I walk to the nearest hotel and there are YC cars waiting. With service like this YC, good luck when Uber gets picked up here. For now, I skip these guys and call McClures.
It won't allow me to enter my address. It automatically turns it into an invalid address and there is nothing I can do to change that. When it worked the interface was acceptable if dated in appearance.
Turns out when I came downstairs to meet my taxi that it drove away with someone else. No phone call, just status changed from arriving to in progress and cab now somewhere else entirely
The only reason this is even a thing is because uber is not allowed in Vancouver. Hopefully soon that will change and these useless companies go out of business.
Booking a taxi even a day in advanced is pointless the rides say booked and never get accepted. Using this app is less helpful than walking out to the side of the road.
This app only serves to avoid the frustration of being on hold for 10 minutes to book a cab with an operator. What it doesn't do is ensure you a cab by any means whatsoever. I have used this app and my past 3 experiences included 1 no show after waiting 45 minutes and several calls to the company, one 25 minutes late, and one almost 1 hour late. All were booked 1-3 hours earlier with this app. As the operator said it garuntees nothing, you are welcome not to use us! Garbage app, garbage company.
But the drivers and management is terrible. Don't bother calling them to complain about the service they will never call you back.bring back Huber please and thank you..
Can't even enter a pick up address that would satisfy this poorly written piece of junk.
Twice now it's made me late for apts. Taxis never show up and I'm left scrambling.
The tech is good, but drivers ignore bookings from this app. Only time it ever works for me is if I put yvr as my destination.
App works fine for me, but I don't take cabs often. Almost every time I've used the app, a taxi has arrived quickly. But the bookings are never closed, so the next time I've tried to use it I've been unable, as I still have an open booking from months earlier!
This App Is A joke and so is yellow cab. Doesn't even work!
App has never worked properly, the map can't be accessed and it will never let me change my destination from YVR-Airport.
Not only are these s***** drivers I'm pretty sure they're stealing from me lost stuff while grocery stopping so I'm just leaving this here
Regardless of how far in advanced you book your booking can go unanswered for hours. Taxis ignore dispatches from this application. Phoning for service is much more effective.
After waiting for over an hour my booking gets canceled and it asks me if i want to book again? No i want to uninstall this garbage.
app doesn't work. I try to put my address in and even though it shows it as a pin on the map trying to save gives me an error that it cannot find the place. In general the app looks like it was designed and built by a high school student that is just learning to program. I am disappointed that cab companies in Vancouver can get away with this kind of trash.
