Yellowstone GyPSy Driving Tour

Incredibly helpful. My whole family used it for a Yellowstone trip. Everyone thought it was wonderful. It was nice to have more info about what to see and where to turn in/park. For example, to find one spot it told us to go past the upcoming field, take the hairpin turn to the right and look for the entrance immediately on the left. Super helpful. It would say if an upcoming feature was a "must see" or just kind of an extra if you had lots of time in the park. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Thoughtfully done. It allows for multiple paths through the park, and it balances background and insight against information overload. I will be looking for a gypsy guide for every future road trip. my only complaint is that it kept interrupting conversations in the car, particularly on long stretches where they felt they needed to fill in with historical information. I'm glad to have the information but the cadence at which it was delivered could be quite annoying.

Don't go to Yellowstone without it. My family's trip was greatly enhanced by the quality, educational commentary. We made several side trips that we never would have heard about without our personal e-guide. Download your favorite tunes and the app will run nicely in the background, only interrupting when sharing pertinent information. Highly recommended!

we decided last minute to download this app to help with navigating us through our trip to Yellowstone. it worked fantastic! even better than I could have hoped. it was very informative about many subjects which I was expecting. but most importantly it gave us ideas for so many small side ventures that sometimes only took a few minutes but were all awesome. Bob as we ended up calling our guide was am absolute must to really take in the whole trip. best $ spent on the trip!

Great app! like having your own personal tour guide on the car with you. Plays through your car audio system from your phone via Bluetooth. Breaks in during your music to point out points of interest, facts, history, etc.

I would give it 5 stars, but a few times it lost connection. However most of the time it was great. Added so much to our Yellowstone trip by letting us know the history, and what was coming up to stop and see. would definitely recommend. Make sure to download BEFORE you get into the park.

Using this app in Yellowstone National Park was awesome. I appreciate the commentary and history. Two features would be nice to have; pause and repeat. If we missed what was said, while driving and having our own conversation, we missed it.

Better trip bcuz of the app. We made stops we would not have otherwise. Saw all the wildlife except moose. Informative narration made the drive more interesting. Accurate turning instructions with appropriate timing so no last minute swerves. Great value for a three day visit to Yellowstone!

We really enjoyed this app for our first trip to Yellowstone! I wonder if you can update this app to show weather updates and road closures. Also, a little lively music between the narrations would help. Thanks!

So glad I found this. It helped us decide where to stop and which places we could skip. We got advance notice of upcoming spots so we were prepared to turn in to a spot before we even saw signs. And the history, chemistry and nature lessons were fascinating.

Without question this is the best app I have ever purchased. It made our Yellowstone trip so much more enjoyable and efficient. It made the whole day as perfect as it could possibly have been by helping us select which sites to visit and in which order. The additional details offered about each stop made every a site more pleasant to enjoy.

I like gypsy apps but this time it didn't supported our multi-day trip well. Basically a lot of repeated audios and instructions. I think only half of the audios I heard were interesting facts (which were pretty good).

This was a refreshing surprise! App exceeded my expectations. Was actually better than hiring a guide. Facts presented were interesting and educational. Suggestions on stops were first rate and excellent. Highly recommend this if planning on going to Yellowstone.

We LOVED using this app! We were given great advice about unique features that are not otherwise advertised. Our only complaint is that there isn't more discussion of features in the Lamar Valley. The kids referenced the information shared by the speaker at every stop, and learned SO MUCH! Thank you!!

I spoke with a Ranger at Yellowstone who said he had tried out the Gypsy Guide to the Park. He said that except for a few minor things it was very accurate, he didn't say what those minor things were. We found the app well worth the expenditure and saw sights we might have missed otherwise. I have been recommending this to friends and family going to Yellowstone.

App worked perfectly without reception. A lot of good information and stories. Even pointed out some quick stops we would have easily missed. Worth every penny.

This app is great! We used it all day to go around Yellowstone. The narrator/guide is humorous, helpful and interesting. I'm glad we had the app. Download it before you enter the park though. We had to wait until we had service.

Absolutely AMAZING experience!! Not only the most informative, the guides are written with unusual tidbits and humor!! I will NEVER travel without again!! Great info about the park features, history, wildlife. Told us what stops were coming up so we didn't miss them. This app made our trip so much easier, informed and more memorable!

Don't buy if only going in North entrance to Lamar Valley. We only had time to go in North entrance to Lamar. The app stops when you make the turn to Lamar so basically had very little commentary. The info it did provide in the short term talked about the wolf introduction to the park. I would hope that the app would provide more info if you were going to other parts of the park. Cost was $6.99, wish I could get that money back. I can not recommend the app.

This was the best money spent on our trip. I highly recommend. Easy to use instructions, helpful and a trip changer. It made the Yellowstone experience easy.
