Was hooked. Then they stopped updating. Beginning to think they forgot about this game. If we don't get new levels soon I will probably uninstall. And you all have been replying and saying there is an update coming for too long for me to believe it.
It can be a good popular games if u make a little changes like The game has given a great value to coins but there should also be a way to achieve them with little ease. An easy way to improve it can be to be able to get coins by watching videos and we should also be able to exchange them with game cash(not real money) and we should also be able to get atleast 1 coin by completing earlier levels.
It's fun, cute, and plenty creative. However, my beef with this game is that the boards routinely run out of matches to make. The fact that getting a good score is almost solely dependant on luck is suffering I won't even get into.
You can play this game for time passing, stress releasing, or just enjoying. I never thought that matching things horizontally and vertically can be this interesting. Salute to Halfbrick because they related this game with Fruit Ninja. I was compelled to play "Yes Chef!" up to level 25 in order to unlock the Yes Chef dojo in Fruit Ninja, and then, I had to love it <3 I will give it 9.5/10.
I didn't like this game because everything about it is pay to win. You only get energy to play buy spending money or winning levels, many of which require even more store-bought power ups to complete. Or, you could use the currency you earn in game, which is hard to get unless, of course, you spend more real money. This is overall such a pay to win game and I would not recommend it.
A bad game. It's FAR too dependant on in-app purchases to really enjoy...and as for the Fruit Ninja connection - the Dojo is a lie! EDIT: Just got to Level 40, where the game locks up & forces you to either be active on Facebook or buy things from the developers! (I finally uninstalled it at leved 44; it's damned near impossible to play the game without constantly starting over, or in-game ads...) Avoid this game, because continuing to play should be up to you, not the makers!
4th time! UPDATE 2015-12-17: below issue not fixed. frustrated!! Hard earned coins gone without a single warning! I played this game a lot. I am now at 149. BUT... the buttons to spend Gold coins do not show any warning and they take your coins at the simplest touch. No warning, nothing. And coins are so expensive. This is the 3rd time that I accidentally pressed Play further instead of I give up. And my hardly earned coins were gone!!!!! I wrote to the developers, but no reply. Strange and frustrating!!!!!
The game is fun and addictive. However, random levels would fail you three times no matter how well you do, to suggest you a purchase of items. That is frustrating--it's like I gotta waste my time and play a few games knowing I will fail three times.
I like yes chef as I am not a big fan of candy crush and yes chef is almost like a different version. I suggest this game to play if you have an interest in food too.
Some levels are downright impossible to solve without powerups. Halfbrick uses the method of "annoying the customers into paying" to earn money, and that is why their visually polished games have bad and repetitive gameplay.
Just wasted 16 coins, $1200 & 3 energy on a level that kicked me out to the homepage of my smartphone! Used to LOVE playing! Not the first time it's happened either! May have to give up on this game! :-(
The game is fun, some levels seem dang close to impossible but beet all 250. Just waiting for more levels. Hope some come soon. Maybe have comps for prizes like coin or boosters. Thanks
Addictive and fun game, but needs more options for acquiring coins like coins for levels replayed and won. Also not all 3-star wins give coins.
The game is a lot of mindless fun. However when you are trying to replay levels for the 3 star achievement it is frustrating. Some levels if you finish with 5 extra moves it boosts your score to 3 stars. Other levels you may have completed with 20 moves left and your score is only boosted to a 2 star rating.
Nice to play it as this thing is getting me active and keeping my brain fresh . Yaaha let's do some cooking now
It's a fun and addictive game. However one you get up in levels you have to pay or invite friends to go forward. So I just stopped playing the game. The first time I used 20 coins but not the second time.
Overall I like the game. My one issue with the game is that the ingame bonus don't seem to apply evenly in all levels.
Addicting like a theme park rollercoaster. its the cycle of endless fun. I can't stop playing. also thanks for the free dojo. it makes the pattern from the real game. Also some levels are hard
Okay game, cute time waster but issues with the syncing between Fruit Ninja and Yes Chef. The rewards don't seem to be registering. I've emailed the Halfbrick Team already addressing this problem so we'll see what happens.
Try to contain yourself before the excitement of wasting ALL your in-game energy trying to get a board configuration that lets you actually advance! Can you handle the untold thrills of being urged to pay money for power-ups to make up for poor randomization choices and bad level design?
Got a bit addicted to this game. Completed all levels with 3 ✨ just awaiting an update with more levels.
Since the levels are really easy, and I have been getting 3 energy each game, I've been playing the game since I bought it.
Good way to keep one's self entertained and I appreciate that I can get bonuses for fruit ninja here, also.
I really enjoy this game I can play with out wifi, big plus for me, But the levels do get harder to play and cost to get upgrades and helpful iteams.
Deleted because there hasn't been any new updates in 5 months which is sad because I loved this game. Guess I'll delete it again
Made in app purchases but I have not received anything I bought. Still have not received an answer, refund or my product ordered.
Reminds me of candy crush which I liked playing but like candy crush, it can get highly frustrating as some levels are hard to win...which does add stress rather than relieving us. Also screen goes weird after some time, like overlap. Am considering uninstalling as I dnt need more stress, otherwise it's a nice game.
