A lot of fun and interesting characters; would have given it 5 stars except it seemed a bit short.
good game overall play time or word count is far too short for such a very good game. if you have not played or read this one you should try it

Good but its pay to play
I actually purchased this book. The premise of this book is that all these creatures like Yeti, Mothman, Chupacabra, the Loch Ness monster and even a Jackalope are actually aliens sent to earth to serve time like a prison sentence. The best part was getting to meet all these different entities. Really cool story. My only complaint is that the story ended very quickly. Aside from the abrupt ending this story is written well with lots of imagery and memorable characters. Highly recommend.
I do wish it was longer and had more details. The climax with all the fighting was intense, but then the ending felt dull and empty... There were also times where it felt like we were forced into certain situations or that our character made the decision him/herself. I'm not saying it was wrong, but it would've been more fun to have been able to have a choice. But overall this is one of my favourite Choices games!

Not enough choices but a fun story overall. It leads you too much. I'd like more variety. Maybe take a hint from tin star that turned out really well. I still really liked the story.
Decent story, but no matter what you choose you'll always end up in the same circumstances, you don't actually choose the story. Not to mention glitches that lead you around in a circle giving you options you previously tried and grammar mistakes galore.
This story was both funny and engaging. Not so many critical choices, but still engaging.

... though the story is short and pretty liner. Would have loved to be in this story for a while. Nice geeky references.
The choices dont seem to effect much usually. And there were scenes where I wanted to make a choice but it wasn't available or, worse, no choices at all were available. But the concept is great and deserves to be revisited!
The game was great but that you had to pay for the whole game is a little annoying. Doctor Who reference though, and that game me a fangasm
It's a nice little read, as I have come to expect from this developer. I appreciated all the little references woven into the story too. And while I honestly wasn't too taken with it as I was with Creatures Such As We, I liked the story just fine.
