I have downloaded the application for a very basic task: upgrading the firmware of my brand new Yi M1 camera, which is still on 3.0 version. It just doesn't connect to servers so the app is useless, at the moment; please fix it. I'll need to perform a manual update. Bad start
Depreciated App. No Update since quite some time. User account login is limited to login via Facebook and doesn't work anymore as it's not been updated to latest OAuth. No firmware updates to camera and lenses. Seems like they have dropped the entire thing.
this app really needs support for time lapse features, video would also be nice, but timelapse is essential and it is really sad that yi technology has overlooked the importance of having wireless control of the great timelapse features of this camera.
Glitchy on my Galaxy S9. Crashes every time I try to share a picture. Download feature should download into a directory in my gallery not just into the app which doesn't work most of the time.
please fix the app. most of features doesnt work and notifies either about bad gateway or missing internet connection ( like there is no chance to get new master guide templates, cause app cannot reach the server)
need digital zoom , mirror for pc, hdmi live output, more settings in-app, cannot connect with facebook , cannot connect with usb, slow transfer speed , many falis in transfer files
Downloaded the photos off the camera but now cant download them off the app. App crashes everytime I try to share a photo... my photos are stuck on the app and I cant get them off and I need to so I can post them
Glitchy, crashes, stops, and sometimes doesn't work altogether. Barely usable. When in a hurry for your shoot, don't bother.
Worst app. in the world!!! Downloaded images from the camera does not show in smartphone gallery. Where are you all? The only errortic app. in the camera companies around the world.
the firmware does not alert camera is 3.1 and 3 2 app doesnt trigger a notification. the app Q&A says gateway error and the user login via facebook errors so the app requies fixing. Camera returned app uninstalled.
Still waiting for focus improvement but it seems like they gave up on this camera... That was my third and last product for YI. I hate company who sell product with no aftersale support.
Last update was on May. Now i cannot see photos on my gallery it only shows on the Yi Mirrorless app. No more support for the camera or app?
App Facebook login doesn't work due to invalid implementation. Given that Facebook is the only login option it essentially renders the app useless.
the app for ios is a joke, is it not updated? there is no remote feature. highly disappointed with this purchase. will most likely be returning it
look im not going to write a bad review yet. but please fix your app. unable to update my firmware. please fix. cant do the work around either
Need to close the app and reopen after connecting to camera else it doesn't work.
It doesn't let me connect to my camera even though ive allowed all permissions
It appears to be no longer supported and is unable to update the firmware on the camera.
I am think this app is mirrorless camera but it is more than what I think. it's too much take of permissions.
Hello YI team When will you updated the firmware ? The last one was 2 years ago We need more features and buy fix ( auto focus don't work well )
great camera but this ap has too many bugs. reinstalling doesnt help. super lazy ap team.

The App works quite well.. Unfortunately to use the Yi M1 Camera to it's full, the Manufacturer YI insists you have a Facebook Account to log in.. I know a lot of us do . However within Europe that can no longer be assumed! It's just CRAZY! Well other that that its "quite" a good app.. I wouldn't go as far as to say.. it's easy to use, far from it! The Yi M1 Mirrorless camera is impressive.. especially for the price. It's just let down by the APPs stupid social media restrictions!
