Yiffur is made to be highly efficient and low data use by using advanced caching methods.
It also supports various features that similar apps do not such as WEBM, GIF, login support, commenting on images, and a custom localized favorites list along with syncing favorites to the site.
Yiffur also supports very high resolution images where most apps cannot.
This allows for high quality zoom in for reading small text in images such as comics!
Most other apps will either crash, or show lower quality when zooming in.

If you want a dedicated app to browse e621, this is a definite go-to. It doesn't follow Material Design, but I'd call that a plus, as Material Design would not fit in my opinion. If your phone has a decent processor, and LTE, you can view posts with HD thumbnails with little loading times between pages. All it needs is the ability to save files elsewhere than Downloads, but even without this, it's still a solid five stars (and according to user suggestions, is a feature coming soon).
The issue with the app, freezing and then crashing when liking a comment, was fixed. It turned out to be an error on my end. Turned out my phone got interrupted in a major Android update LOL. Now that, that is fixed, I have a new issue. Every image thumbnail that is loaded, loads with an '"!". I have show NSFW content on allow ;) but it's still showing up as "!" What do? :3
The app's awesome and works like how I wish the actual site did, but there's some pretty heavy bugs as of the last update, like the pop up option icons all appearing somewhere entirely different from where I'm holding on the photo. (Sometimes halfway off screen or some random place only to the left. There's no pattern to it either.) That, and if you tab out of the app, it'll either go back to normal or deload the search bar and all the other options up on the top of the page.
For what it is and what it sets out to be, (a mirror of e621 and its content) it more than gets the job done and as it stands everything is simple and clean to use, with a fingerstroke you can switch from favorites to searching and i found that to be one of my favorite features ironically enough lol, keep up the good work, design isnt a must but thats the only gripe i could ever have, good job!
It's a really nice interface and has everything I want with an app like this, but the only issue I run into is that the video/gif playback is choppy and slow 90% of the time along with image loading speed being at a snail's pace Edit: this was all caused by an internet issue on my end causing my phone to have a .16mbps download rate, the app works perfectly fine now! (Also side note: the dev responding to reviews is really nice which I appreciate)
The e621 site is great and all… but oh my god this app is fantastic. viewing image pools and search results is so easy now with swiping. I can't believe I've never heard of this app before now. if anything, a little dot or number above the parent/child image / pool scan button to indicate if there are related images would be epic. Thank you for all this already though!
Unfortunately even after latest update and disabling HD Thumbnails feature the app just randomly cuts off and stops loading any further leaving blank thumbnails with reload or red wifi icons. However if I open up my web browser and go to site directly there are no issues at all. I'm not sure what causes it but it's really strange that it decides to just give up half way through scrolling. PS I'm from north London and it doesnt matter whether I use wi-fi or 4g it just randomly stops loading.
This is a great app for browsing E621, however I have some issues. Sometimes the app will just crash for no reason, and it will lag when I attempt to pull up an image's info or try to fave it. Also, the blacklist system is a bit messy and its hard to find tags you may want to remove later on as unlike the site, it doesn't alphabetically organize your blacklisted tags. However, that being said it is way easier to blacklist tags in this app.
Definitely my favourite app for any of the furry community sites; seems to integrate well with e621 and is pretty intuitive. There's a little bit of a delay when upvoting or downvoting images and I wish I could swipe up for image details and down to exit back to the thumbnail screen. But overall, great app!
The app is really great, BUT unfortunately if you spend to much time looking images it suddenly stops loading images and i have to restart the application in order to make it start loading again. Also, for some reason the app crashes after you upvote or downvote a comment, the rest works fine, it's really good and it looks really good, like a lot the new interface tho.
The favourites aren't sorted by order you added them in... very annoying. The app abruptly stops loading images after searching stuff for too long. Making me have to restart the entire app... because the images are all blacked out. Other than that, the app is great. Easy to use.
I am very impressed with this app. It is unbelievabley easy to use. Also for me, by far one of the nicest features is showing right under the search bar what you looked at previously. Ive been on e621 for several years and now having this app makes it too easy to use on my phone. Thanks again!
Does more or less what you need it to. Been having an issue where it crashes immediately after a search recently, but given that I can expect that to be fixed relatively fast I see no reason to rate this app negatively . Edit: logged in, the issue with the search crashing seems to have been resolved. Awesomesauce
This app is great so far, it could use some improvements, but still great! My only problem, the app suddenly stopped working for me altogether, i reinstalled and everything, it just doesn't work, i would really like to know what's happening so i can continue using the app. Fantastic work so far! Update: My problem was fixed! Thank you devs!
Sooo.. My previous review was good on it, and it is good, but there's a few annoyances :p Whenever I use e621 normally, it's very fast, doesn't takes much time to see stuff, but in here, it takes forever to load things. My second complaint is not being able to zoom in on GIF's. x.x EDIT: Thanks for listening. I'll patiently wait for it then. ^^
Works great! The UI looks clean and is easy to use, updated frequently and great user support. Occasionally stops loading posts, but it's probably my internet or phone, since turning wifi off and back on fixes it.
Pretty solid and intuitive. Please add a vibration customization thing so we can set the vibration strength...and include a cache clear button to remove thumbnails.....and perhaps a "load to last seen" feature so ppl can scroll entire tag(s) and not have to keep track of what they have already seen....worth a download before its gone
For anyone who suddenly can't find a certain category of images on Yiffur anymore, and came here looking for a solution like I did: The toggle option no longer works by itself. There's a new option, however, called "Image Source". It's currently set to the site: E926. If you want to see every picture you could before, you're going to have to change that option to tell Yiffur it should grab images from the site that has the right ones. You know which. (ECHO:More potential Booru options? Awesome!)
Very good, but certain images are blocked even when I changed the options. How do I unblock them? Update: I found the option and it unblocked most of the content, but some are still blocked. Is it a bug? Update 2: Problem has been fixed. Thanks for the help!

FanTASTIC. perfect e6 browser for mobile, easy to use, easier to *use.* only negative thing i have to say about this is the loading times. they are VERY long for a browser app.
Love the app, but I'm currently experiencing some issues. After about 5-10 minutes of browsing, the images stop loading and when I click to pull up a picture already loaded in, It shows a black screen until I back out. I always have wifi and mobile data turned on, I also have updated the app so I'm not sure what the problem is.
This app was amazing, but for some reason the newest patch makes it so the app never loads and just shows me a white screen indefinitely. Edit: the suggestion worked and the app works perfectly now. It won't let me log in properly, but I don't need to to enjoy this app.
App works great. I wish you didnt need to make an account to blacklist an item. But all in all good app. I did enjoy how it retroactively adds your favorites to your account after you make one.
The native website has a lovely color scheme, but the design isn't necessarily pleasing. This app packages content together beautifully and quickly, making navigation faster than ever! I'm in love~
I like the idea, and it seems simple to use. I have one request: please add a back button. If you tap on a post, there's no obvious way to leave it other than using the back button. I myself have a broken back button and rely on one to be within the app I am using. It's one small thing, but it'd be a lot better.
This isn't just the best e621 viewer I've found — it's the most intuitive app I've ever seen for any kind of furry-focused media! Cheers to the devs, this is very well built and ridiculously well executed.
Best e621 viewer I used so far. Also, been waiting a long time for an app like this, there was an older one that just disappeared from the play store. Great app at all by the way.
2/27/20 UPDATE: I updated the app, but opening it gives a blank white screen and crashes. May wanna fix that. -------------- Great app. Some large videos/images don't load, but it's only a few.
The app is great! The only problem I have is with the HD fullscreen. In short, it does not work. It gives the warning on the size of the picture but it does not change the actual quality. Is the HD meant to be just a better picture or the full picture? Been trying to find a sufficient app that is easy to use and gives full pictures. Besides my main complain, good job on the rest of the app! It is a really good interface!
