YMCA PKC

I wish I could say this was a good app. I am able to access the class schedules... eventually. It has to redirect me. And then it shows me all the classes to all the y's. So... it is not convenient or pleasant. I just make due with this app. It is Actually more convenient for me to pick up a paper schedule each month on site, than to use this app...

app is pretty lousy. about the only thing that works is the barcode... took a long time to get it to allow me to even create my account. staff couldn't get it to accept either, then an update went through and they added accept terms to the creation screen... but after it accepted mt passcode, it says by creating (but didn't I just create? lol) I accept terms... redundant. I've really tried to use the workout tracker and I can't get it to work. screen freezes and it won't progress to next screen.

Turns out the customer support is EXCELLENT as long as you request it direct from the app owners. They are wonderful. I understood more about how to use the app within 10 days of exchanging emails with the owner than in almost two years of asking various YMCA employees for help. Now on to the not-so-great part. The app itself, at least in the form it's been configured for the Pierce-Kitsap County YMCAs, is horrid. There are no user directions at all, and no matter how much a user combs through all the parts, she will never figure it out. Even after getting help from the authors, the app is difficult to use and understand. It's illogical.

Same issues as others. Very buggy app. Once the bugs are fixed and it works like it is supposed then it might be worth the effort. It's not intuitive. Also, I would like a history of my check-ins as well as a way to create my own exercises as the list, while extensive is particular in names.

I like the app in general,but entering my workout is not easy. I've lost my info 3 times during my workout,also we have Precor machines not the ones on the list,and there's nothing to enter weight and machine #. it could be better. bring back Activtrax.

I have tried to do some of the challenges to earn more points but the app doesn't track the challenge process well at all or doesn't sync to my connected Fitness Pal app correctly. You should have a way to have people check in when they do a class and have that sync to the app

3/5/20 update: still sporadic points for digital check in and sporadic points for goal reached. Maybe its time to do an update. Can't get points for goals completed, just for ones set. Very hit an miss for scanning the bar code when checking in. The YMCA an it's members got taken on this one.

had to recreate an account to use this app; checking schedules is redirected to the website which is difficult switch location and filter. don't like it at all. the old version is way much better!

This is supposed to be a workout tracking app. Almost every time you get "Error try again later". Useless if it won't record regularly and when it is working you can't back date it. Sad for the Y.

App keeps me entertained, by making goals and challenges. The frustrating downsize is the app doesn't update always like it should, which leads to lost points and incomplete challenges.

Nice idea, but constantly crashes. Impossible to use for tracking workouts because it crashes every time you try to go to workouts in the app.

The app itself isn't really an app, it just guides you to their webpage. It is clunky, difficult to use, and I still haven't found out how to reserve my time at my local Y because of its poor design.

It's easy to check in, track workouts, and the challenges are fun, keep me motivated, and are, well, challenging. Great experience so far

This app has gone from bad to worthless. Points? How do I amass those??? Sign up for a class? Pick your location and then when it redirects you, you have to pick the location AGAIN. Truly, this app is more useless than the YMCA website, which is saying a lot. DON'T BOTHER

There is no option to save bar codes from membership cards to make check-in easier. If this is to replace the old app then it really needs to be implemented

unable to log in. The app does not recognize my email address. I have verified & logged in to the web site, so I know my email is valid. snot sure what I can do about this. Disappointing.

it's fun to see challenges and earn points but it would be nice to have activities update automatically.

cant login. i logged in on the site and tried to use same email and password for this app. cant get it to work.

Unable to login - the entire digital experience with the Y is garbage

Works when it wants to and information is put in odd areas sometimes difficult to find.

The app doesn't recognize my log in, as others have noted. my login works fine on the website.

Absolutely useless App. 1. You need to create a new account. Can't use your current YMCA account as well. 2. This App doesn't show you any useful information like a tips about that your YMCA will close sooner today. 3. You can't add barcodes of the cards of other family members - only one allowed.

Like many others have said, had to create a new account and the scanner will not work to add my card.

cant sign up due to agree terms and conditions box not appearing on Samsung Galaxy S8 device. Had to create account on Iphone!

This app helps me stay connected to the Y, track my workouts, and easily scan in.

there is no option to change location. preset is TX. I'm in Wa!

can't log in with my account. I know the password is right, because I'm logged in on the computer.

This app is not synced with the account I have with the Y and I cannot log in.

This little app is amazing if your a member of the Y. Especially with the way things are these days. Member? Then get it and use it. It's worth the while. Thanks guys, James Drzazga

Only good for barcode use (Whenever it works).
