Definitely one very useful app for learning sanskrit as a beginner yoga English speaker, however it would be nice if you could allow flexibility when searching for Sanskrit terms to translate into English. For example it's impossible to find the 'R' used in 'Vrksasana' on my keypad but if you allowed one to just type a simple 'VR', it would be easy. Please consider that, thank you!
What an amazing tool for any level of practice! The descriptions, translations and extras are amazing! Only tip I'd offer the developer, a bookmark option that allows us to view "favorite" asanas! All around great app, thank you for this!!
Fairly good directory. Good photos & crisp pronunciations. Was looking for an extensive pose list with benefits, this app wasn't exhaustive fir me. However what it offered is helpful for most yoga teachers and novices who may want to know which pose for what benefit... I continue to look for an extensive solution.
Great app! Think the poses and sanskrit are just the icing on top. The 8 libms of yoga and all the other excellent info is great. Only issue is that I download it and it stops working after 1day. Other than that it rocks
Very informative app. Helps a beginner understand and learn the names of the Asanas. Wishlist: 1. the mantra used in Iyengar Yoga classes (yogena citasya ...) 2. under characteristics, the meaning of prashva... prefix is missing as in prashvottanasana 3. in the screen where the image is enlarged put both sanskrit ans english names to learn them both by reading rather than hearing 4. (big development effort) to automate the sequence update: thanks for the response. found the solution to #3

Very handy Has a lot of info usefull for intermediate practionners. It is also well built. Its definitively worth trying. I use it regularly as a reference tool.

The best app to check out yoga poses. The most quantity and it mentions the history and official names too. Dont waste your time with other apps, this is the one.

There is an amazing free yoga app in ios that I love which is not available in android. But after I came across YOGA 108 i don't need the ios app anymore. Rajeev This app could use a filter with types of poses, beginner to advance and body parts used. Great app. Thank you.

Exactly what I was looking for. This app doesn't teach yoga, it teaches both the English and Sanskrit names of the asanas with quality pronunciation.

I've never written a review on any app before but I had to for this one. It's perfect for new yogis because it touches on many areas, but it is also concise and well organized. It shows the different postures, let's you see and hear how to pronounce each one in English and Sanskrit, not to mention the all the information about yoga itself.
