I really do love the content, the teachers, the videos. But the app is so slow to use and every time I'm practicing the video freezes and seems to be impossible to get it running again without rebooting 5 times. No amount of peace of mind will help with this annoyance. Honestly speaking I will probably not renew my membership due to the technical problems.
The option to rate the app comes up every 30-60 seconds which makes it very hard to navigate the app. There's no way to mark videos/courses you want to come back to later which is frustrating. And the videos take forever to load despite having excellent signal. I'm using a Galaxy Note S9. If they were to fix these issues, I'd rate it 5 stars because the quality and quantity of the videos are excellent.
needs updates that would enable the screen to stay on when watching and not time out. Also, if you click through from an email for a class or workshop, it doesn't being you there. you have to look through the app to find it. Also, for the workshop style classes, they are too broken up. a longer section format or one where we can pause and resume later would be so much easier to watch than these brief sections. there is a lot of good this app is offering, but it needs work to make it more friendly
The app and the website are clunky and only work when they feel like it. The goal tracker doesn't update when you finish a video and it's hard to stream videos to my TV so I have to watch on a tiny screen. Very annoyed I paid for this. Despite having a paid membership I've been using YouTube instead because it's so much easier to use and reliable. Save your money. The classes also aren't any better then what you can find for free online.
I'm enjoying the teaching qualities, however the videos keep timing out on my device, and the display doesnt stay on. I've tried changing all of the display settings I can, but nothing seems to be fixing this. It's definitely an error that programming should fix so that people can actually watch a whole video without having to fiddle with their device every 10 minutes. I'm on a Galaxy s9+.
Good for videos, bad for managing your account. You can't manage your account in the app and instead have to use a browser. Due to this, there was a technical error and I couldn't cancel my free membership trial and instead was charged nearly £100 that they are refusing to refund, despite a clear error. If the app had better functionality, this wouldn't have happened.
I've never had to review an app before but this one is just terrible. Instead of helping to relax and focus, just using this app wound me up even more. It's is slow, glitchy; the CPU does overtime just to scroll down the menu. The videos themselves are clunky and regularly stop for no reason, meaning your flow is constantly interrupted because you stop to check the phone. The phone doesn't keep history. If you press the home button accidentally, you have search the video again. Don't bother 👎
App is unusable. It takes around a minute to load a video, and when it loads usually there is no sound! The interface is very sluggish in general. I need to wait after every click. It is unacceptable to have this app and expect people to pay monthly fee. There are much better apps that are free. I can't comment on the content because I couldn't use it!
Content is great, but the app needs a lot of improvement. Particularly annoyed with the fact that laying my phone flat switches the video to portrait mode. Moving the phone a bit will make it switch back and forth between portrait and landscape mode. Mind you, I have rotation turned off on my phone. You should either make landscape mode default when playing video or offer a lock option.
Great Website Content but this app is unusable on my Samsung phone. Really disappointing as I just get blank screens each time I press a link to a course. Also no sound on classes and the video doesn't rotate so stays a tiny rectangle across the middle if my screen which makes it hard to see what's going on. I hope YI get their app sorted out because there is so much good teaching to be had on this site if only they had a reliable and functional app
The app has a lot of options, only tried meditation so far, but I enjoyed. Only stopping it because it's too expensive, more expensive than most streaming platforms...but cancelling is completely possible (using the website not the app). I still have acess to it until the trial period ends (paypal users lose the acess as soon as they cancel).
I have had this app for awhile and I am disappoint that the videos quick running, crashes, cannot pause, backup,etc. The Roku app does the same and is worse because it loads so slowly........ Please fix or I will cancel my subscription. Can not use the great material that you have. There are other apps out there that are better and cheaper!
I love the content, but please fix the app! The chromecast function no longer works, it did one time and never again. I even bought a new phone thinking it was probably my old phones fault, it wasn't. Videos can freeze and be choppy during practice. You are almost there just make it better.
The app only works when it's time to take money. I started the free trial weeks ago or at least tried to. The classes nor courses never actually played or would cut out within minutes. It kept asking me to start a free trial even afterwards, but would confirm I already had one. However, when it came time to take my money today that part of the app work perfectly. I have requested a refund through Google Play and unfortunately have to wait 10 days. That's not fair and also needs to fixed.
Very good content, the app's ux & ui could be improved. And the content could be expanded. Since I've joined it, almost an year ago, they have been adding content quite often. I decided to stick with it because some of the classes are amazing and I can't find them anywhere else.
Unfairly priced. Emailed to cancel, changed my bank account card, they have an agreement with visa to update your card details so even if all the details change they can still take a payment. They're customer service mailboxes are 'unmonitored' and also not accessible to staff but are still active when they contact you looking for payment. Not user friendly, crashes, can't skip, some videos won't play. Generally old fashioned, content is poor in comparison to other yoga apps.
IT'S A TRAP! This app simply doesn't give you the option to stop/unsubscribe once your 30 day free membership expires. You don't get the option to cancel membership as their website shown. You are forced to become a member and get billed. I've sent many emails requesting assistance but NO replies. Don't fall into the "free membership" trap!
This is an awful app. I signed up for the trial, went to use the app and it wouldn't even work once I'd signed up. Went to cancel the membership and was unable to, I have contacted customer services; who were next to useless and said I needed to go through app store. I have done all I could to cancel but I am still having payments taken. I'm now not able to log back into my account to try and cancel from the app.
Agree with anyone who said it's a scam. I've cancelled subscription a month ago before being charged. And wasn't charged for September. Haven't had any email confirming cancellation. Then I was charged for October when I even forgot about this app. When I messaged the customer service they said they couldn't give me a refund. Was charged inappropriately and unfairly,even though its their fault that cancellation doesn't work in a website and app. Don't recommend.
The content is astounding in its breadth. When I went through the courses I geeked out so badly: I wanted to go through ALL the courses. BUT, this morning, when I actually tried to go through a class, the video wouldn't keep my phone 'awake' AND when my alarm went off, it just CLOSED ME OUT of the app ALTOGETHER AND I HAD TO SEARCH FOR THE CLASS I WAS DOING ALL OVER AGAIN AS WELL AS FIND MY SPOT IN THE VIDEO. THIS IS BEYOND FRUSTRATING! Please fix this! The content is amazing, but access to it...
Very slow, crashes on filtering and since today doesn't even allow to login. Some viedoes are not loading, was not able to cancel membership via it on time and was charged for not wanted subscription (at least an e-mail about an upcomiing charge would be nice, so people can react accordingly). Can't schedule classes, user unfriendly.
Money Leaching... The app is all bout absorbing money from you. The credit card details addition to access 1 month free membership is a trap to make you pay with auto renewal after 1 month free trial. Without any reminders the membership gets Renewed every month and it is very difficult to understand how to cancel the membership. I ended up paying for 5-6 months due to this trouble. Now despite paying the membership for this month, I am unable to use it because I cancelled it during the month.
They are deleting negative reviews under their posts on FB! Before the trial ended I did a cancellation of the membership which apparently didn't go through and I was charged the monthly fee. Right after the charge, I messaged them saying that a mistake has happened and I want a refund as I'm not interested in their membership. As I see they have a standard response and throw info at me with the benefits of the membership which I DON"T want to have!
I so wanted to love this app, sadly it isn't very usable - crashing, slowing down after not even a second of scrolling through content, not able to use the download feature - this last one might be cause i am on trial, but to be fair that makes it not possible for me to use and try the app to the fullest during my trial period, as i tend to read and study on my commute. overall, i really wanted to sign up for the annual, but will reconsider now
Absolutely horrible customer support. I had signed up for a trial, but never really used it as it didn't fit my requirements. At the end of the trial period, my credit card was charged for a month. I immediately emailed the support team asking them to cancel my subscription and resume the amount as I was not using the app. What response do I get - you agreed to the terms and conditions and we're not refunding you. They don't care if the app was used or not.
I had tried many yoga apps and I am so happy that I finally found the real deal! This is what I was looking for! High quality instructors that live and breathe yoga, that bring the spiritual into the practice as well. I love the option of being able to choose duration, difficulty and instructor. I really can't say enough great things about it! Very thankful!!!
Scam scam scam! I literally tried for about 6 hours to find some way to unsubscribe from the "free trial" I went thru the website. Nope. I went thru the app. Nope. I tried to call them. Nope. I sent emails requesting how to do this. Nothing. Everytime I thought I found out where I canceled my subscription it took me to sign up for another free subscription! I ended up having to cancel the debit card I used to get the app subscription to avoid paying. It's a waste of $$$$$$$, don't do it people!
It keeps asking me to upgrade my membership each time I am opening the workout details even when I have already upgraded to the free monthly trial. Other than that the content is good, but the app is useless, because I can't even got started practicing the workouts due to this subscription bug.
I like the app very much, especially for the meditation part, they are so profound and efficient. But it has many errors, and it shuts down sometimes. I cannot access the Anatomy yoga course, for which I sign up for. Please solve the issues... I cannot pay for an app that is so difficult to use, because it's shuts down or buffers... Otherwise, the content is highly valuable.
