Yolla - International Calling

EXCUSE ME, YOU DID NOT READ MY MESSAGE. I SAID THAT I EMAILED THEM. CHECK YOUR EMAIL! I stated using this app in 2020. Was working very, very well. Up until I bought a new phone and changed my number (from South African to German) its now been giving this '1012 - Error. Please contact support.' nonsense for several weeks. And I still have a credit balance. YOLLA fix this problem. I've emailed them but I got not response till date... What on earth is going on?

Not able to send sms internationally like it says you can in the description. I bought credit to send text messages but the app won't let me. I just lost the money I paid for credit. What a waste No stars for this one

Be aware of this scam app. In the app, when you top up, the promotion shows top up $16 get $30 credit. The actual thing happened was compeletly opposite, they charged my card $30, and gave me $16 credit only. I sent message to question them, they replied very fast and shameless, says ' When you make an in-app purchase in the app, the Google Play fee and VAT are automatically added and the total costs are: €21.20 for $16. Can't make it clear at payment page? And where is my $30 credit? SCAMMER

Absolute scam. Tried to make a call and upon pressing any number to get through a company menu it suddenly says poor WiFi even though I have super fast WiFi that can stream 4K TV in multiple rooms with no issue, it says the same with "cellular" (mobile) data too even though I have 5G. Rubbish!! What a waste of £5 (after foreign transaction fees!)

The app works well and connects every time... , but it's just overcharged me about DOUBLE: My call credit went down by over $6 for a 55 minute call at $0.05 per minute (ie it should have gone down by $2.75). It would be cheaper to use my ordinary phone service!!!!

Topped but cant call bcoz it shows l need to download,but even after signing up and accepting terms of use it returns me back to install but l already have the app. So useless and there is no customer no to call in UK So they have my money. It's rubbish waste of time and money

It seems very useful app for internastional calls. I am just a new customer. Reasonably price, call quality is good so far.

Been using Skype for 20 years but lately Skype has not connected to regular phones that I know are good numbers. I don't like Skype's layout anymore, it is not intuitive to me. I found Yolla as an alternative. In some cases the volume is very weak but when I dial a number it clicks through instantly. Skype was taking 30 seconds for each typed character to show up on the screen, really annoying. Adding credits to Yolla Is easier also. So far Yolla is helping me better than Skype. No ads so far.

Best International call App by far,but the issue that I endlessly encounter with it is that it discriminates amongst certain numbers. You just can't make a call to certain numbers. It keeps saying, " Call has ended," immediately after you press the call button to those numbers. Extremely disappointing and heartbreaking.

1. The call connects just fine, but I am unable to interact with the call app once a call has started. When I press the the buttons (in-call keypad, loud speaker, settings, etc.) or anywhere on the screen turns off; even though the phone is not anywhere close to my ear or face. 2. I now can't make calls; it keeps "connecting..." as though I don't have signal

It would be best if allowed to download on more than one device to use when one fails to work i.e. device break, lost, bty flat.

I really like this program. And not only because it saves me a lot of money. I like it's functionalities as well. I can recommend it to everyone who makes lots of international calls.

When calling home the app changes my number to a differrent number,and its so hard for the receiver to know whose calling unless I talk..

Consistently failed long distance calls. When I ask "Donna" the only person available, I am told they are working on it and don't send any more emails to them unless I have something useful to say. Well, this is useful to those looking to pay Yolla for long distance calling... I say find a different service.

I was a little suspicious of this app to begin with and honestly only downloaded it out of desperation, BUT the app has been a great asset when abroad, much cheaper than roaming charges and daily rates and great for calling hotels, taxi's and businesses. I regard it as a great travel asset.

Billing is per minute and it's great. This makes it less likely that the connection will be interrupted during a call. Although given that the cost per minute is immediately visible, this is generally unrealistic in my opinion. I know one thing, this application is convenient to use and calls are received inexpensively, and everything else is just idle talk.

Not even connecting to the server. Useless app. tried many times.. Always showing connecting

I wish the Yolla project many years of life and thousands of users, because there is no adequate alternative to this application. I use it for business and high-quality calls abroad are a priority for me. Thank you.

An interesting alternative to a regular call, which seems to be easier at first glance, but this is not so)) Good sound quality, favorable conditions still take their toll and make you get used to it somehow. I tried with a friend a function similar to "invite a friend". Everything came to me, the money was thrown over, I was notified about it at the same time. A friend did not rate the free calls feature so well, but the application does not uninstall.

I was very surprised to see so many reviews that the cost of subscription is very expensive. I think people just dont realize all the value and help of the app, because the cost of the subscription pays off very quickly.I can say with confidence that the price is absolutely in line with the quality. So, I recommend it!

Amazing app. It's incredible. I called for multiple times and places in Brazil. Home, cellphone, companies... And have a stable connection impressive. I really appreciate and recommend.

Very good app. I am using it in South Africa to call abroad. It works perfect. Never had connection problem. Call quality was very good and it is really cheap for some countries. Been using it mostly every since 1 week now to call landline and mobile phones. Good job for having a cheap price.

Best app I managed to find for my international calls. Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars, is the fact that I get charged when I hang up before the call is connected.

Very affordable and the voice is clear. Highly recommended.

Calls work well and are cheap, BUT. The connection is usually bad enough to be a problem, and the user interface is primitive - not only is there no link to existing phone numbers, you literally cannot even copy/paste and add overseas code to existing numbers. So, you need a pen and paper to copy a number across, and hope for a useable connection. Still, a cheap way to call family.

Excellent app, excellent rates- very useful thanks. Suggestion: I'd like to be able to choose a colour theme such as dark colours for night time use - and the design/look has room for improvement. On a more practical level, when trying to navigate telephone menus of companies using the number keypad, I can't get the menus to work, which can be a problem if eventually you don't get connected to an operator by default.
