App is easy to use and responsive. Sometimes there is an unexplained lag in response, which may have more to do with my mobile hardware, storage and Android version rather than the app itself. However, the app developers should look into any glitches that might have crept in. Overall, I am satisfied with the app after the initial teething period of SIM CARD binding. I would be more than happy if there were a hassle-free way of transferring the app to another mobile with more storage space.
Not user friendly.. very complicated. At some menu you cannot go back to the previous menu. You have to exit. This is so foolish to login again The menu bar is Sometimes to the left. Sometimes at the bottom. Absolutely confusing. Recently I scheduled a payment on the app. The payment did not happen at the scheduled date. I would have been a defaulted and charged penalty for non payment. Bank would not take responsibility. 3yr back I had the same issue, but SBI has not rectified it.
Very bad experience. I am not able to register with the app at all after several attempts. It always throws error message. Can't Sent message. Pls try again later. Tried contacting sbi customer care too, but complaint was closed without any response. I have confirmed that I M able to send the message outside the app and app has permission to send the message.
Bad experience. Even though I'm using the latest version of the app, something or the other tends to go wrong. Either it's some issue with the login, or when I was redirected to start the entire login process again, the app says 'permission denied'. There was some issue with Internet banking, and now yono. It's impossible to use SBI's digital banking services.
Doesn't work with abroad sim card even though the number is registered and linked to the account. Stuck on login screen where it asks for 'existing' or 'new' customer, and after selecting 'existing', it is stuck on the timer screen where i guess it tries to send an SMS but nothing happens. After a few seconds, it displays an error saying 'SB001 technical error. please try later'. This is the case since the last update of the app.
Just the othr day, I removed my negative review. And lo, the app inserted a new protocol for mandatory changing of mPin thru web portal. I can understand the concern for security. But it shud be appreciated that choosing a mPIN with many restrictive criteria, is not easy to change it so often. If the intent is to get no. memorised by user, it doesn't serve the purpose to change it often, & in case u think that it should be written elsewhere, it defeats the very purpose of security.
Poor app similar to the kind of service this bank provides. Many buttons does not work in one touch. And from security perspective, there are too many security layers like internet banking password, profile password, mpin password other than OTP. If you forgot any one password you are stuck, because their password recovery process itself is very complicated. In simple words, the whole security process is traditionally multi level password based, but definitely not smart and easy banking.
The app sometimes dosen't load in high-speed wifi ! Very slow and unresponsive, The UI looks so bad, The unclear texts are scaled to lower resolution. Opting for creating ac via debit card option won't be processed in first try. After crossing barriers like these Maybe the transaction history can be viewed i.e. the only positive part. TO top it all off SBI servers are down most times.
Its quick as in quick pay option. No previous problems of login and payment now. Payment done within seconds just now.Very happy with this performance. It should display date, time and details of sender also, like my name when I make transactions. Thanks. Frodulant message of" my yono app turned inactive "was received last month. App is good. In newer version a lot of things improved. But the only thing which I didn't understand is, how to view or download statement between a date range. There is an option to download it or email it, but I couldn't find any option to select date range.
It always gets stuck and prompts fail to establish connection inspite of presence of high speed broadband Internet... I don't understand if your app needs updates to be installed in every 2 or 3 days then its better to give your developers some time to understand these issues and try to come up with a stable version! No improvements after all the feedback it feels it's just treated as a formality. One of the worst app!!!!!!!!!!!!
The app doesn't work properly many times. Now the transactions are not showing. Without changing the password, it won't allow to login through MPIN which was happening earlier. Even after changing the password, it asked me uninstall and reinstall the app. From a bank like SBI, this type of issues is not acceptable.
Lots of features with full of glitchs... For a single passbook balance check you need 10 mins....just because several time connection issue/server issues. Ex. Instragram is running still yono is like check your device connectivity.. If successful logged in ,now when i want to make any transaction freeze... Don't depend on this app for real time support also no real time customer support, you need to call/email and follow several processes.. really it is better to switch some other apps.
You can't choose date ranges for transactions, statement of account. There is no use of downloading all the transactions everytime. Epassbook facility is not available. UPI transactions view doesn't show details of payees name. Only shows payees UPI ID. Needs lots of improvements. Highly inferior to other banks' apps. Lacks many features. Other deposit accounts details not displayed properly. Statement for deposit accounts cannot be generated.
Good app. The UI is decent and the other facilities are also good. Had issues with the sync between internet banking using online site and using the same in the app. Wasn't able to login using the same password in both cases. Had to spend a lot of time resetting the password to finally get it working.
While it's very good. I would like to point out that HDFC app has got options to send the bank account details to anyone through electronic messaging with just a click who wish to make a transfer to our account with a single click" share account details option" SBI is lagging in that regard. Also service requests made through YONO is extremely delayed making it mandatory to visit the bank grossly undermining the efficacy of YONO.
Earlier I used the app and wasn't facing any issues. However now when I am using the app each time it shows error "Please close the existing session and login afresh (5)". When I don't have any active session. Most of the time get this error say 10 out of 9 times get this error whenever I open the app. This is really frustrating. Could you please look into it.
Very worst Banking App.Most of the time it's shows error.Try after sometime/traffic issues/technical errors.Sometimes the amount shows null.In webpage, while entry it shows a pop-up for email update. If you try to update it,then asks profile password.though you enter correctly,it will end up in problem.Then your account will be inactive for some days and you have to set right from your branch.There they are kidding even you don't have remember your username and password. Terrific response😊☺️.
Just one constant issue The "My Dreams" section behaves absurdly at times. Most of the time, I can't attach that section with my deposits or otherwise can't even create a dream. Whenever I have been able to, updates simple reset them which I extremely annoying. If someone can kindly look into the matter, I'd be great.
Really sorry to inform that in spite of repeated complaint still no solution received. As soon as I enter my username and password, the Application get closed without any error. I am using Redmi Note 8 Pro with Android 9 os. My device is not rooted. I have already sent the screen shots, on your demand through email twice. But still no solution. Please do something and resolve the problem as soon as possible.
It's needs to be uninstalled and installed again when a new update comes. UI needs to be more smooth. Don't involve unnecessary options and animations. Landing page should be more simple for finding option and service. Security is awesome.
I don't understand the logic behind the details being fetched when we try to access our loan accounts. Sometimes it shows the details like 'Remaining Duration', 'Interest rate' and 'EMI' etc but sometimes it wouldn't show any details. From my personal experience, i feel that YONO app has lot of scope for improvement in both performance and User Experience.
Terrible App. I have been using SBI and it's internet banking facilities for many years. I was using the App a while back and a while ago, it just stopped working. It has been months and I tried reinstalling several times. However I am not able to login at all. Error message is being displayed that message cannot be sent to my registered mobile number. Completely useless app.
App is good but many times it faces technical snags. Bill payment schedule facility has become worst these days. Once you schedule the bill for payment, and confirmation received from bank for scheduling, you will not find the bill under scheduled bills category. It nowadays shows "no bill scheduled for payment". So i once again scheduled the bill for payment, same message appeared. But in actuality, bank made payment twice making my budget go hey wire.
1. The app keeps on breaking after update. 2. We need to see very simple stuff in there, but too much of unwanted information which we never use. 3. Investment section is more complex. 4. Fixed Deposits is the easiest and simplest one I found. 5. If i have to get trained for using an app, then it means there's a lot of simplification required.
The app simply refuses to recognize the active and valid eSIM to proceed with registration or login. The app used to be functioning correctly prior (with the same eSIM & on the same device) even now it is functioning with the YONO Lite app. It seems ridiculous that the full fledged app is hindered by such a trivial thing. It is 2022 and eSIM s are widely used. Kindly rectify ASAP.
Very frustrating. When attempting to login using Yono , the app does not receive an OTP. If we access the Resend OTP option, rhe screen returns to the first login page and that is counted as one failed attempt and I am left with only 2 more attempts. Not my fault if the app is unable to send the request for an One Time Password. But the customer is penalized with one failed attempt even though the credentials are input correctly. Developers please sort out this issue.
