I used to use this app all the time, but for the past several months it hasn't synced with Google maps, and it tells me my address is invalid. I spoke to someone last year who said they were aware and were planning to fix it. So far it's not fixed. I would MUCH rather use a cab than Uber or Lyft, but they are making that impossible. Can't really complain about rideshare apps taking away customers if your own app doesn't work.

PLEASE FIX THE APP - the app can't load Google maps for some reason and it must be able to load Google maps in order for it to work. I have reported this to them numerous times but it hasn't been fixed yet making the app worthless. I would rather support taxi drivers than other for hire cars. It worked when I first down loaded it but only for a short time. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. FIX THE APP PLEASE!

I tried to support real cab drivers, I really tried, but this defective app keeps pushing me back to using Lyft. Not one piece of this broken pile of junk functions reliably. Some parts appear unfinished. Tried again a year later — no improvement.

It just doesn't work. They're using a dev version of Google Maps, it is incapable of locating via GPS and doesn't let you ennter an address. Useless. I have to use Flywheel instead.

I use yellow cab multiple times DAILY, but the app suddenly doesnt allow you to get your address in so you cant book a cab. needless to say, THEYRE SLOWLY LOSING MY BUSINESS because the app was the best way to book. FIX IT OR IM GOIN WITH LUXOR FULL TIME AGAIN.

Don't install this app. It doesnt work. It doesn't recognize real addresses and won't let you book a ride. When I contacted Yellow Cab they told me they are aware of the problem.

Used to work fine but now all you get is an error because Google maps now requires developers to get an api key. The error is: "This page cant load google maps correctly". Instructions for obtaining and using an api key are all over the internet.

Junk app. Could not book a ride. Back to Uber and Lyft. No wonder Yellow Cab is struggling to compete with Uber and with unreliable app like this definitely does not help.

Tried to set up a ride to the airport, entered the time , then during confirmation shows wrong time. Ended up calling & uninstalling. 👎

um, it shows a message saying unauthorized to show map, and "for development purposes only", dev trying to shortcut map service fees, it looks like?

Can't enter an address that isn't gps verified, but using gps locatuon doesn't work. only a sample map loads.

Absolutely terrible interface. Tried to book a cab. Can't even tell if i did or not.

It's unfortunate that the app hasn't been fixed. Supporting YellowCabs is better than supporting a ridesharing company. Please fix the app.

I wish it worked, I can't call a taxi. It hasn't been updated since June 22nd 2016 according to the app.

This app is totally useless, the app does not work. False advertising.

Won't accept typed in address, won't sync with Google maps.

I really like gow i dont have to put all my info and especially a credit card to get a cab. Way better than uber or lift

When everyone else was standing in the rain, stuck in traffic, or getting huge surcharges I was using this app to get nearly instant pickups and fast travel downtown. App has some quirks, but we'll worth learning.

Address lookup kept producing an error even though I pulled up my address and picked it from the list. So I could not use it to book a cab. Too bad!

When I'm done booking, it show WRONG time.

I can't get the "book online" feature to work, either on the app, or on their website. 😣
