Terrible ID app! Consistent errors when scanning even when following directions several times, then asked to do voice recognition and still it fails. Then had to wait for a review which I never heard back from. I'd give 0* if possible.
Not really great in terms of verification. Would wish if they were able to integrate this with the Singpass Application for Singaporeans as this would make it easier to integrate our digital info with such apps. Furthermore Singpass is already a form of national identity with unique digital Id authorised by the government.
A bug in their app has me authenticated with an incorrect address. It's not an OCR error, but a logic error in their processing rules. I reported this bug and customer service was useless with it. I wouldn't trust this company to validate my own customers. Not sure why anyone else would.
Don't know why all the negative comments it works perfectly. Scanned my ID and the biometrics work perfect . Now I have a digital ID for when I don't carry my wallet .
App constantly fails to load past the main menu, just sits on a blank screen with a spinning circle whenever I try to access any of the options. Running Android 12 on Galaxy Z Fold 3.
It's telling me my phone number is invalid yet when I correct it yoti changes it again then claims I types it incorrectly. Not happy as it used to be a good way to show I'm over 18 since I look like a child.
Very useful app keeps all my iD in one place. No need to carry the original documents. never had any problems 👍
Excellent so far. However, I wish there was more joined-up thinking between those organisations that require this service. I've only used Yoti once but have had to do lots of other KYCs, each requiring a different protocol. *sigh*
A product like thus has to work all the time. A response of "Server Error" and then the app hanging is completely unacceptable.
Nice idea and would be very useful, but most if not all shopkeepers will not accept any sort of ID on a phone as they think it is a photoshoped picture etc. A friend of mine has a railcard which he tried to buy an enery drink with but was declined because he had it on his phone, even though there was no way to edit it. I feel this app will lead to a lot of frustration over satisfaction
Would be a great app but, isn't allowed as a form of ID in most places I have been to, making it pointless in my opinion.
It isn't accepted in most chains like Lidl, tesco, etc and so it'll rarely be useful. Shame cos their way of verifying ur ID is simple yet feel quite hard to fool
The app is secure, i'll give it that. But it takes far too long to actually use the app; there's just so many verification needed. I have tried the facial recognition at least 10x now, there must be some racial bias going on since it's not accepting me as a real person lol. Not worth it, just bring your ID.
Tried adding my address multiple times, apparently the address doesn't exist. I need a verified address to access a government free bus pass but I'm unable to because this stupid app says the address is non existent despite the address coming up when searching the post code. Horrible help service too, emailed twice saying that I could send a bank statement to prove I live there and all I got was "we don't do that, email the company you're trying to get verified for help" total disgrace. 1 star.
I am a new user of this app from Philippines and it make me disappoint that theres only 3 choices for valid ID, maybe you can add more like Philhealth ID, UMID, TIN or Postal. if theres only 3 choices then its a 1 star rating only for me and my fellow kababayan
This app is the worst how can a 24hr verification process take 3 days now I. Can't even access the app that needed the verification it doesn't even deserve a star
I downloaded this app as I've seen it advertised on social media for a while now. Straight away as I downloaded it and tried to sign up, it crashed. My phone told me the app wasn't responding. I tried again. It crashed once again. I will now be deleting it, even though I've only had it for 3 minutes. Very disappointing. Don't download. These crashes need to get fixed. The concept itself is good though.
Absolutely awful app. I wouldn't have downloaded it if i didn't need to use it for a government thing. Trying to take a picture of your ID literally takes ages, you need the right angle, light, position, etc. Once that's done, its alright... until u realise its super messed and constantly bugs out. Ive been locked out for 90 hours and each time i go back on to check how long i have left it resets the timer.
Terrible experience with these people. I've just spent 7+ hours trying to get my address verified on my yoti account as it's required for my daughter to get her free bus travel. Ridiculous situation and their "stellar support team" are not helpful. I have asked to speak to someone senior and have been ignored on that one. I sent screenshots and photographs and got nowhere so please don't tell us to email the support team unless it's one that's helpful. No stars if that was a choice. Avoid.
I can't even create an account. I'm asked to enter my mobile for verification then nowhere to input the code, I tried 3 times
App is incredibly frustrating to use, asked me to add my young Scots card for the free bus pass thing which worked at first but then asked me to add it again and now won't verify it as they don't support that document type even tho its literally an option they give you.
Thanks for the reply, basically when I went to scan it it said it was an the wrong document so I assumed it was only for official DLs
Yoti is a necessary app to keep out identification documents at ease. No need to login or save documents in device memory anymore. I can see only two identification option in Indian section of document registration.
To difficult to set up, followed instructions and kept taking me to page asking for password when I had not set up?
App does not work. If the devs focused on actual user experience rather than app layout and design it might work. They try so hard to automate the camera, and its always out of focus, and the lights randomly being on keeps messing the shot. I spent like half an hour navigating this app uploaded documents like 3 times each over and over and none got approved. Completely pointless app
A potentially very useful tool but it does seem to have a habit of failing, mainly for me around times when when there's an OS update. e.g. Start app: "We couldn't find the new consent rules for your country". App quits with no further help or feedback on how to remedy the problem. Update: problem fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling. Fortunately my backup on GDrive worked so no data was lost. Uninstalling was the suggested remedy from the developer who are responsive which is appreciated.
