* (if you're connected to wifi)-if you want a music app to start on Bluetooth connect, be sure to go to settings and select the desired app-it assumes you're disconnected from wifi at startup, so turn on Bluetooth manually before starting the service to see it turn it off after a few seconds-you can also disable wifi after starting the service to simulate a disconnect from wifi. It will turn on Bluetooth.This is a very simple app which uses some logic to determine when/if your Bluetooth adapter needs to be on (Smart Bluetooth Control). If your car supports Bluetooth but you don't make use of it because you don't remember to turn it on, or if you leave Bluetooth on all the time but want to save battery, this app is for you.
It's a service which runs in the background and can be toggled on/off in app or via the widget. Once the service is started, it will keep running even if you close the app. To stop it, open the app and click the stop button or tap the widget.
DETAILS::Algorithm: (Completely Customizable) -Wifi Detection
- On wifi disconnect, Bluetooth is turned on for 20 seconds. If it connects, it's done. If it doesn't connect it will try again 6 more times in 2 minute increments. (In case your router is far from your car, apartment?) On wifi connect, Bluetooth is turned off -Bluetooth Detection
- On Bluetooth connect, a desired music app will be started if configured from the settings menu. If you are connected to Bluetooth and that connection drops, the adapter is immediately turned off. A check is run every 2 minutes for the next 20 minutes, then every 5 minutes for the next fifty minutes. (maybe you stopped for gas, or for lunch, but no wifi to detect) Each check turns the adapter on for 20 seconds, then off if no connection occurs.

Would have given 5 star if I were able to set different apps to open depending on what I were connected to. For example I've set it to open up Spotify when I connected to majority of my Bluetooth devices but would also like it to open nissan connect app when connected to the car as well as Spotify.
The app has completely stopped working on a MotoG 6 phone and Android 8. It was working on a G4 and Android 7, but no more. Please fix. BTW, I know how to set and use the app as I was using it for long before changing the phones.
I just started using this phone however so far this app exceeds the previous app. I am impressed. UPDATE:. i was having problems with the app - i contacted the developer and after several attempts we were able to rrsvr the problem. all is well!
Works as advertised. I have a toyota and it starts the Entune app when my phone connects to Bluetooth in the car.

I really like the app but I have all of the Wi-Fi settings turned off because when I'm outside of the house my Wi-Fi goes in and out and the Bluetooth kind of has a mind of its own..

Thanks for the response to my earlier review Kevin, I followed your advice and everything was fine until about a week ago. I now find that the Youblue service appears to be stopping randomly and requires a manual restart. Despite that it's still an easy 5🌟 for me as it does exactly what I wanted it to do.
At first I thought it didn't work, then I uninstalled the unpaid version and tweak the settings and now works better than anything else I've used
Clear and intuitive interface, great value, wish it would allow multiple device/app pairings.

This is a neat idea but I wish you could have certain apps start based on which Bluetooth connection is made. I've also had a lot of problems with the Bluetooth turning on and off at random times while connected to a device. Fairly annoying. Neat idea but it needs more refinement.
Very helpful it helped me alot also super simple to use. Definitely has helped me save battery life while also help me manage my Bluetooth setting in an automated fashion. Developer is very responsive and helped me resolved my issues.
**Edit** I reset the settings of the app after an uninstall and reinstall and it appears to be working as it should now. Completely useless. I simply need an app to launch YouTube Music when connected to my vehicle. This one appears to be incapable of doing that, even after I bought the paid "Pro" version.
