YouMap is a one stop tool to meet all your needs for Android screens. It can take screenshots. It can record screen and audio to movies. It works from the old Android 2.3 to the latest Android L 5.0 versions.
YouMap performs real-time audio and video recording and streaming.
YouMap can mirror screens (including audio) of Android phones or tablets to large displays (TV, PC or Browsers), using VNC, AirPlay and Chromecast protocols. It can stream screen and audio in HD quality at real time speed. This way, you can watch any movies, perform presentations, or project any apps from Android devices to Apple TV, Chromecast, or Raspberry Pi devices (our free rPlay receiver software is required on Raspberry Pi devices).
YouMap also supports audio only mode, that you can stream any audios from android devices to your speakers via Apple AirPort or Google Chromecast devices. YouMap supports system audio as well as Microphone audio.
This app works on rooted and non-rooted android devices. However, for non-rooted devices, every time after turning the device completely off and on, you will have to connect your device to a Windows PC or Mac using a USB cable, then run a free desktop program, VMLite Android App Controller, to start the server on your device. Once the server is started, you can disconnect your device.
Rooted devices, such as those running Cyanogenmod Android, work right out of box by simply clicking the Start button on our App.

If you can't start the server on your device, e.g., S3, Nexus 7/10, try to change to Camera Device(PTP), instead of Media Device(MTP).

Daemon does not start. Airplay mirror on apple tv comes with an error : failed to startAirplayMirror. Pls help
please help me solve this problem. i just bought this app, when launch it say unable to validate license because connection error. i download it twice, but still unable to validate license. My connection is ok, since i check my phone, it is connect to internet. So I suspect Youmap is the problem.
Not working at all on galaxy s8 or s8+ but quite expensive app....ill change my review oncd fixed.
On Samsung a 5 keep shutting down the application. Can not use.
They want you to download all kinds of files to get it working don't have time for that!
First they charge you £2.63 for this app without telling you anywhere that to get it to work you have to then pay a further £6.50 for the vnc server app, they can stick it!!
Please refund my money. Can't use it on my pi. Or atleast give me instructions on how to use it on pi. Please.
Excellent Idea but awful documentation. How can I activate the youmap server and not the vmlite vnc server (also bought)?! This is not supposed to be that hard...

Would be more awsome if it could cast bluetooth system audio so i can get the fm off my phone to my soundbar without using the tv
All was installed according to instructions, but nothing happens when connected to RPi.
Yes it does mirror my screen & audio to airplay compatible devices. However the playback is very jittery and laggy even after tweaking quality/performance settings. Terrible frame rate on target device. Different application I tried worked much better so not network or device. The interface is crappy and the app is laggy and unresponsive often. It also constantly displays a pop-up nagging for a play store review which doesn't go away even after you review. I Uninstalled and would appreciate my money back.
It's not working and they were not responding to mails . I emailed to them more than 10 times for refund. But they were not respond. I think it's a spam app and it's not working. Don't buy this
Used apps2fire so I could use it on my firestick. Could not get the app to work on my Samsung s6 and my windows 10 PC won't install the desktop server. Sent 2 days and lots of research to try and get it to work with no luck.
When clicked it would instantly close up. I tried restarting my phone a few time but nothing worked.

The application is really buggy and does not fulfill its android commitment. I tried it to cast my note 4 screen using vnc, url and rplay and it failed me every time. The mirroring for vnc and url was at about 1 to 2 fps wich can not be used for video casting at all. I installed rplay on my Raspberry Pi 2 model and followed all the instruction but casting did not seem to work (no casting at all) there either. In all a total waste of time. Developer please advise.
