Young's Literal T. Bible (YLT)

Fabulous translation brilliantly rendered by two Brazilian brothers. This version is ad-free. The text reader is smooth, glitch-free. It hadn't crashed once. Features are minimal -- font size and full text search about covers it -- but the text and layout are very readable. The full text search is instantaneous. Incredibly fast. So is maneuvering from one book or chapter to another. Great performance!

Thank you very much for this. This version and the amplified Bible are my favorite versions. The original tenses of certain part are especially interesting. A lot of things were said in present tense, making the eternal nature of God more potent. If i could change anything, I only wish this had Youngs comments/explaination that's in the front of the original version.

Just downloaded this YLT and, so far, I love it. Replaced 'Light Bible' app with it because the Light Bible app had some inappropriate ads, as well as some so-called 'daily devotions' that were wholly unChristian. So far, this Young's Literal Translation is exactly what I need to compliment my KJV red letter edition. The only things I might suggest are a bookmarking system, a highlighting system, and a note-taking system with which to record thoughts on certain verses. Thank you Felipe, and God Bless.

Great app! It's very simple and easy to navigate. The translation is wonderful; it really gives the reader a great sense of the original language and the right tense. It'd be much better if the user could take notes, but what's there is really good.

Nice with out all the extra"bells and whistles" so many apps just don't need. After reading up on the majority of translations blunder of using hell over gehenna I have decided to stick with YLT and this app is just plain simple and intuitive. Thank you brothers!

Straight forward reading app for the YLT translation I needed. Very skinny, easy to use. Add features like concordance and cross-reference and I am sure people won't mind paying for it.

It's a great, simple Bible app. Clean interface and navigation, a dark mode, and no ads. I just wish there was a bookmark function.

Really appreciate the literal translation, helps our study tremendously. Only downside is that I can't jump to a specific verse but have to scroll through the chapter to get to a particular verse. Not a big deal.

This app is a great asset to me because of the closeness of this translation to the original languages in which the Bible was written. It has no adds, therefore no distractions when using it. Thank you developers and may God continue to enrich your work.

The Bible itself is fine. The "nag" that appears at the top of the book list (after a week or so) is unnecessary... and deters from the simple attractiveness of the app.

This seems very close to the original writings. To me it would take a person with some degree of Spiritual insight to truly understand and enjoy the transition. Good work.

I love this app. I have used it for some months now and I really enjoy it. No ads, easy to navigate to where you want to go. My only suggestion will be that the names of the books of the Bible should spelt out on the tile so that folks who are new to the Bible can easily find what book they are looking for. Love this translation.. the app is straight forward, very easy to maneuver, and not weighted down with unnecessary baggage.

Loving it so far haven't used it for that long. Use it in the morning in my quite time to cross compare what the NIV The Passion translation says and then this. For some reason I understand this translation better than the KJV. So far so good. Blessings

Highlighter & bookmarks are essential as this is not a physical but virtual book. Make it fun, not just letters & coping options.

It reveals the minds & situations of the characters. It will be more appealing if written in standard english language. The absence of ads makes for more concentration.

This my go to on the go and at Bible study. I have the gospel everywhere and any time I need it. And in these turbulent days it is needed often.

Gives the whole bible. Quick. with no need to have internet connection so its all there. At your fingertips on you at all times in a very conveinent way. I'm extremely impresed and grateful.

I appreciate the different considerations of scripture that the YLT opens up because of the direct literal translation attempt. I am much helped in my studies because of this option.
