Great while it works. But forget about support when you need it. Received a new card which does not work. Have been asking for support with no replies for two weeks. Imagine actually being overseas and this happening to you. Edit: support came back weeks later with reply that addressed zero of my problems. I recommend any other alternative to this. Don't use Youtrip.
Great business idea but it's unfortunate that after so many years, the app is still buggy and customer service is non-existent. Contacted Youtrip through 4 different channels. Its been a month and I've never received a reply other than automated msgs that confirmed my query is received.
I have used it for AMZ US and Ebay UK purchases. Also, my #1 card for overseas travel. Experience has been great. Reasonable exchange rates could have saved me money. Best part is taking the currency conversion guess work out from charged expenses. Total transparency on knowing how much to pay in Sgp $. 2 thumbs-up!
Used it for the first time overseas and not too excited: 1) It takes time to top up the card (up to 30-40 mins). To compare, top-up in Revolut happens immediately; 2) Unable to withdraw the required amount in full from an ATM overseas. Conslusion: it works with delays and limited functionality
Bad: transactions are post dated, sometimes more than 1 week. Not good for expense claims. Good: - easy to use, just like any credit card (pre-change of wallet ownership to You whatever) - conversion to major currencies a boon especially when you want to do precise budget control Maybe - consider other currencies?
I cant seem to activate the Keyboard when I tried to retrieve my Singpass info via the application, hence I have failed to sign up... I could use my android keyboard in all other applications... Please fix this ASAP, if u want users to use it smoothly? Cant do it on desktop browser too, as it directs me back to my phone application.
Used to be a good app to use BUT now it's horrible!!! What's the point of providing the safety feature of locking the card BUT when you urgently need to use it, the card is NOT able to be unlock !!! reached out for help BUT NO help is available !!!
I use to give it a 5 star rating cos it was very good untill lately. First my card suddenly was deactivated and showed 'expired' when i just changed the card expiry was 2025. Wrote in and there was no reply. Then suddenly after a day or 2, my card was miraculously active and available again. There was still no reply from support. Afterwhich i was unable to top up the card overseas with the top up button greyed out. What is the point of using rhe card if not to be used and toped up overseas?
*edit 9may2022 Getting bad to worse. First wallet was not topped up even though credit card was charged. Now can't exchange money even though wallet is updated. And its only S$100!!!! Top up the amount you need and use it quickly. Similar comments to other 2* reviews. Enhancements required.System reliability and intregrity is still a work in progress.
Services are limited on app and it takes a while to navigate to get customer support. Customer service is slow and poor. Disappointing experience.
Just set up my account, topped up my card but can't log in despite using both pin and fingerprint. Keep getting the "something went wrong". Not a great start to my experience
I only see the limited exchange rate not like what it was publish to exchange to Malaysia and etc. The function to transfer to bank account is also not found on my app. I am using the 1 plus 8 pro. Don't know If it's my phone or the app issue.
Dissapointed with the structure/procession.Received 2nd card right after the 1st one had expired.Activated it and top up some values in it. The very next day I tried to board train(mrt),error occurs.E-mailed about it but claimed it will takes days for someone to get back to me.Tried the call centre but all operators are busy.At the moment I have to utilise other card ..... irritating.
Like seriously... It has been almost a week I'm unable to unlock my card via app n no on seems to respond to emails n feedback n even calling e number it will hang up on me halfway... Been using it for past few years N thus topping up regularly... Now I can c my money inside but CARD CANNOT USE !!!! SOMEONE GET BK TO ME !!!
Plug and play, easy to use. Been using since 2018 and never had to manually activate credit/debit cards each time I travelled again.
Suddenly my card went expired and became unusable when the valid thru is 2024. It did a card renewal by itself when I did not initiate. Now I question the security of this app. Don't feel safe using it anymore.
Latest update renders app unusable! Please roll back. Cannot top up, cannot exchange currency. Full of error messages and help doesn't work at all
I have send email for support nobody respond to me . If got issues. This not debit card. It is credit card because there is negative value on my card. Pls be very careful when applying and support bad no response
Register with them and was told by the app to get card within 5-7 working day. After 1 week haven received card i email them. No response, on the second week i email again no response. Follow by got an update notification so i update my app. End up it shown 1-2month to receive the card!!! Till now 3 week has pass no response for my 2 email And i dont understand why my friend apply 1 week later then me got their card in 4 days. And till now i haven get and no news or reply from youtrip
Friendly fx rates, easy to use UI. Transaction are not posted immediately but not a big issue. Waiting for integration with Google pay!
Reinstall after changing phone. Only can sign up for new account. No logjn feature. Enter my email for new sign up and system say alresdy in use. Uninstall it. Waste my time.
Was supposed to recieve a refund of AED7100 but only received AED6100. Qatar Airways informed me that they had refunded AED 7100. I emailed YouTrip but after weeks and numerous replies using the same support ticket, I received no replies. Their Facebook messenger is dormant too. Something is terribly wrong with YouTrip. It's broken.
Functionally the App is alright but its updating process is very inefficient. When we are asked to update the App, it tends to get stuck halfway and will take multiple tones to get it updated and in the meantime it is not functional and I cannot top up the card. Topping up the wallet is important else it is useless
The app redirects the user to an error page when trying to obtain their Singpass info. If user tries to input their particulars via the manual input option, the fields don't work too
Cannot retrieve by singpass, when i tap on the qr code will prompt me to an error page. Even i tried to manual login, the android keyboard doesnt pop up to let me key in, how i gonna to register?
Annoying required updates. I often need to use the app quickly and don't have time to download a new version.
Useful card with great exchange rate. Used it recently for online purchases. Was using it for my Europe trip b4 covid19, very useful.
App went into maintenance suddenly and didn't allow top up. I only had this one card with me and was stranded until I managed to use google pay on my phone and incur fx on it. No push notifications beforehand to inform me about maintenance that wouldn't allow top up. Unreliable.
Easy to use and you could top up and change to other currency on the spot. Very convenient
I used to love this app. Recently I tried using PayNow option for top up. I made a grave mistake. After making that transaction, it has been pending since day one. Although it says any pending transaction would be reversed after 8 days but it's been two weeks for me, my money is still stucked somewhere, hopefully not gone with the wind. I wrote to the CS thrice but always receive a template answer without a single follow up. There isn't even a number you could call. IT'S JUST RIDICULOUS.
