Hey , I just wanna say this is a pretty nice app to record gaming videos and stuff but there is this one big drawback about this app that we can not customize the audio. The internal audio recorded is not audible most of the time and the external audio is like too much messy . I would request you guys to set an option to customize audio , like how high i want the internal audio to be compare to the external audio(i.e. The audio from the mic) Hope to see these changes in the new update.

Great app to watch let's plays and other gaming content. Would rate it five stars if it had the double tap to skip feature that the regular YouTube app has, that would be really useful for the longer videos because it can be very frustrating when you're trying to go back five seconds using the small dot on a smaller screen and end up going ten minutes back.

I have never been able to get this app to work, not with any android phones, iPhone, not on my GOOGLE PIXEL 5, not on a Chromebook, not on a tablet. It "almost worked" with the PIXEL 5, it actually loads the app, but all it will display is the top bar with a blank picture icon where my account picture should be and a black backdrop where everything else should be displayed. What is wrong, and then I suppose what is the purpose of the app, which I cannot figure out because it is a broken app.

i like it but it doesn't record much of the music on the screen. If you're gonna answer to full my volume I could but not too much. If we do it all the way up (if using headphones) it would be bad to our ears. Please make it record the sound very well. even at a little low volume thanks! ^_^

Unusable on Galaxy Note 20. Saw many other people with this same issue. I open the app and its just a blank screen no matter what I do and theres no updates available. Its been 2 years since this issue had started to arise and it should have been fixed then too. Broken unusable app would give 0 stars if possible. Bad app until it ever gets fixed. If it ever gets fixed.

July 2020 - App doesn't work (Galaxy Note 8). When I open it, nothing but black screen. When I try to go to settings, black screen. When I try searching, error message. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Broke. **Update** Oct 2020 - Just got a new phone (Galaxy Note 20). App STILL does not work. Same issue. Nothing loads. Just a black screen.

I think adding a home button in it isn't such a big deal cause every time you search for something and again and again you need to press back or X as much as you search which is pretty annoying. And adding the ability to skip is also quite helpful.

Do not download. App is no longer supported by Google and it's features have been merged into the standard YouTube app/site. Google should remove app from the app store to avoid confusion among their userbase. The app only shows the loading/splash screen and then a black screen with a title/nav/header bar that does nothing when clicked.

Home page is black screen. Can search in search bar for specific videos though. Can't rewind or fast forward by double tapping the screen. All around just terrible. Glad I can see literally all the same thing on normal YouTube without fail.

I open the app and all I get is a black screen nothing at all showing not even when I click on my account to view my channel but nothing at just a black screen. Why is it like this what happened to it. It used to do livestreams from your account. I used it once to play a game off my phone now I can't do that even when I wanna make another vid with that game. Please fix it and if you can bring back the livestream feature that was so useful for me.

App is unfortunately useless at this point. The initial screen/page it launches to never loads anything, and the search and profile (?) icon on that page don't work. Honestly, Google should have just delisted the app if they wanted to integrate YouTube Gaming into regular YouTube on every platform. Leaving the app on the Play Store just gives some false hope it might get fixed one day.

Hello! This is the real Sinister Ultimate. The one who shut his channel down for a limited time. anyway, this app was GREAT while it lasted! it helped mobile youtubing and was great! i really hope you consider putting the app back up! i still have the app just in case cause i have faith in it. please turn it back on!

App does not work on Google pixel 5a. Just black with the search bar. Looks like it's been an issue for a while for a lot of people. Will never fully compete with Twitch without a solid working mobile app. Really surprised it isn't a priority with all the streamers they've been signing.

(why this app is broken) I see a whole lot of reviews about this. Awhile back, YouTube sent out something saying they were shutting down this app because they were incorporating it's features into the YouTube app. The app isn't broken, It's just shut down. I miss all the fun I had with this app. It was great while it lasted.

It angers me SO MUCH that I have been forced to download this app. I don't watch gaming related stuff all the time so I should not need to switch apps just to look at content I want to. The gaming channels' videos just REFUSE TO SHOW UP ON MY WALL on the main app which is frankly infuriating. AND IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK. The homescreen is just a blank. Disappointed, expected better from google.

it's good but not Better . It really needs some upgrades and improvements with new design, decoration etc to make live streaming more attractive and attentive. It needs to compete with other streaming app , to becomes perfect in every way. That's my propy

i only have this because the default YouTube app isn't compatible with my phone. it works okay, but i hate that some channels and content aren't easy to search due to them not being strictly gaming. Honestly i don't understand why this app exist when finding gaming content on regular YouTube is fine, im just glad it works.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with the problem of not being able to stream anymore. I've had this issue for well over a month or two now and quite frankly I'm bored of it. There's always an ERROR notification when I try to set up a stream and it's driving me nuts. I stream for motivation for animating yet I can't even do that anymore. Please sort it.

Absolutely useless when it doesn't record audio from what I'm playing. The point is to stream games which means *I* have to hear sound, people have to hear *me*, and people have to hear sound from the game. Stupid. I wish the LG X Power 2 could be rooted so I could go back to 6.0

Casting to xbox one doesn't work. Just restarts the app on my xbox then proceeds to not connect. Regular youtube works fine. Id like to be able to use YT Gaming because I can sort livestreams by the game being played.

Hello, I'm in a very big problem as whenever I go live with this app I couldn't talk to any of my squad members in PUBG Mobile. I can hear them talking but when I speak, they don't hear anything. This is very annoying as I'm unable to live stream for my fans on YouTube. Whenever I close the live stream and play the game normally then everyone can hear my voice. Please tell me how can I fix the issue. I hope you'll come up with a solution very soon. Thankyou

I have loved using this app, on mobile it's been perfect everytime. Open it up, choose options on my intent and it even loads the game I choose and you can stream live right to your channel or record it, review and edit later then post. But it's honestly been so easy and hassle free.

DONT BOTHER DOWNLOADING, DOESNT WORK. doesn't even work, 1st time downloading it to see how it works and just a black screen with no options whatsoever, ive deleted and reinstalled and still the same, cleared data and cache and still nothing.poor

The app is broken. I'm assuming Google decided to abandon the project but didn't think to inform the users. It didn't make a lot of sense to have a separate app for this, but I did enjoy the ability to filter specifically for gaming content and to find streams. Oh well, fun while it lasted.

This the best app for getting proper gaming content. Although this app will be discontinued I still love it. Exclusivity in gaming is so important as there is a wide variety and amount of content in it. That said, twitch is catching up. So maybe we should move there. Premiere live of youtube is however is so viable if your gaming platform is something Atari 2600 console or a cellphone.

App has become completely useless 😡 nothing but a blank screen with the YouTube symbol top left, a search icon, and what looks to be my profile icon top right, but it actually does nothing. Tried going live but nothing happened just a buffering wheel.
