Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation

The game is great for anyone wanting to play the original card game. I would give it 5* if it were maintained. Also I cannot even log in which is a bummer. It is still playable which is awesome but if you get held up it is difficult to grind for the points needed to get new cards. There is also no way to sell cards (that I could find) which would help the grind be more bearable. I have played Dual Links but I prefer the classic game and dual links just doesnt do it for me.

Spent a lot of money in this game, to get awesome decks... The gameplay was awesome, although hard to find online opponents at times. My biggest issue, is having not played for a long while, came back to play, and now it won't even open. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, click to open it, and it just closes automatically...

A very good game, and in my opinion better than duel links if you want a more original yugioh feel. Can't give it a 5 however due to the annoyance of having to click no 20+ times a turn to not activate something. And if you click yes, you can't cancel the action, even if it was a mistake. I know the option keeps coming up is necessary so you can activate it when the exact moment is right, it's still annoying to spend most of the fuel canceling your traps and quick plays all the time.

I really love this game! It's addicting so I have to limit myself but still, it's an awesome app that lets me relive my childhood. The opponents can be really tough and challenging. I love the gift every week and the ladder challenge. The only thing I disliked was that you have to build a good deck from scratch and that was hard because you can't always get cards that work together from your wins or the deck packs. I ended up having to buy decks until I could actually make a deck from scratch using cards I won. Overall though, I love the game even though the graphics are bad on a phone compared to a tablet, but that's understandable.

Decent. The game itself is good. However, there NEEDS to be a pro mode able to be enabled or perhaps a toggle button for activation suggestions. As it stands, if a card can be played, the game will ask you if you would like to play it at every opportunity rather than allowing you to select and activate as needed if you know the timing for the card. Also, this needs a back button to cancel activating your cards if you accidentally activate one or try to summon so that you aren't locked into it.

I really love this game, but i hate when it keeps asking if i wanted to activate an effect card. if i said yes i cant change my mind. I have to activate one even if the effect is only going to hurt me in that specific situation, i really want the option of changing your mind after pressing yes.And in the settings you can choose to see the fight animation. but if i chosed to watch it . You cant skip it. even if the animation happens 100 times in the same duel. You have to see it every time

Can't start up the game at all, used to play it for a while and then just crashes now before getting to menu screen. It's worth more than 1 star and all who plays it knows it's a solid game. But this issue of mine just crushes all of that, willing to change rating, but can't when I can't even get past a black screen

One of the major problems with the game is that waiting times with the CPU when battling it. If there aren't any options for the CPU to chose from, it will pause for several minutes up to about an hour for it to make its move to end its turn, and it's only when it's seems to act up like this when there's something off with the connection, even with good reception. That and apparently, the CPUs are able to use forbidden cards (e.g., 3 DARK HOLES) while us players don't have the option.

This game has a lot of bugs. You need to fix it. Card effects that should be able to activate during main phase 2 won't activate, many times you'll have to click an available options 7-10 times before it registers. The com players have loaded decks, therefore the game itself is also unbalanced. The ban list is not up to date, and link format is also missing.

The single player is great. Alot like old gameboy games. But I think you should make it to where you can either log in with facebook or google play. For one people wouldn't have to worry about losing their progress over a new phone and the two only emails I have, have invaled characters or something. It won't let me use either email to set up an account. Other than that, the only thing I liked about duel links is your card trunk was easier to go through than this game.

Pretty straightforward yugioh game. Getting cards and managing your deck is easy and there are many oponents each with progressive difficulty levels. BUT if you make an action when you are not supposed to(choosing a card before the phase starts), it gets really annoying as you have to randomly tap your screen in hopes to undo and redo it again.

This is the greatest yu-gi-oh game available, in my opinion. However, the card availability is a bit frustrating because new cards are only really obtainable over incredibly long periods of time or with luck and graciousness from the rewards. The most frustrating complication is undeniably the incapability to reset the campaign, which results in a completion and a lack of funds to purchase packs. On the bright side, there are enough card slots, gameplay is fun and easy and combos are good.

Excellent. The graphics is pretty good, but I only use them sometimes, but that doesn't & shouldn't make others feel like it's a waste of time to watch the graphics of the monsters battling & stuff. I just like to watch it sometimes, & sometimes I don't. I love the controls, very easy to use, and I apologise to everyone whenever this game crashes on you, or has not worked right, I wish they would hire me into doing all the stuff necessary to maintain & keep and app such as this up, I ❣️ this app

Great Game I very much enjoy the game the only issue I'm having is trying to activate a card effect for the graveyard. When I click on the graveyard pile and select "activate", Nothing happens. I have to do this countless times just for the game to finally register what I'm wanting to do. Having this bug fixed would otherwise change my rating to 5 stars for a great overall game.

Great game. Wish you could zoom in on the card info screen to see the graphic better. Also, bigger, more visible counter numbers on all the cards is needed for me to read them. The only huge problem I've noticed is that is one of the most recent updates broke the right most buttons on the duel HUD making looking at and activating cards in your graveyard impossible. Surrendering can still be done via the menu but the button on the main deck doesn't work. Overall: 7/10 for now.

The game is amazing and i really loved every part of it. Totally better than dual links. But there is a bug that doesn't allow me to play the game. It just doesn't start up anymore. Please fix this. My username is Gebroeders. I really like to retain my progress but i forgot to save it and to log in again. Therefore i was playing logged out when I could not start the game. Please fix this

would have given it 5 stars, if I could recover my account! I've bought quite a few different decks I like to play with in real life, and it's just not worth playing free to play after all that. I'm not the only one who keeps getting told I'll be receiving a temporary password, and finding out it's a frustratingly bold faced lie! fix this for me and everyone else experiencing this issue, otherwise all you're doing is ignoring all of your premium players, and avoiding the work of fixing the game

UI is rough. Settings are minimal. I don't want to be reminded after every phase of every turn if I want to activate a card. Some cards wouldn't resolve correctly from the graveyard or from flip effects. Once a card was activated a choice had to be made otherwise the game is stuck. Booster packs were pretty terrible with cards that require other specific cards to be used. Game hasn't been updated since 2017, no wonder.

i love this app because it's way more complex than duel links. more cards for sure and it actually plays by the rules. the one problem i have is with the multiplayer game. when i get matched up with a person the game will freeze and my opponent and I end up stuck on the duel screen without any cards in our hands. so when we exit and restart the game neither one of us is allowed to play online for at least 5 minutes. really wish they would fix that problem.

Cards and GUI in general are small. Its frustrating to play if you cant see properly. Also, it would be great if one could disable that background animation during gameplay. It is frustrating to play with such tiny cards alone, background animation only makes it worse while trying to see cards you are playing. And yes, i am playing on a 7" tablet, i can only imagine how frustrating it would be playing on an actual phone. Please fix this :)

Personally, I prefer this over duel links as with duel links, the game practically plays it for you, but with this, you can actually play the game. My only problem so far is when you start a xyz or a tribute summon, if you change your mind theres no way to go back after pressing on the second deck. Other than that it's a great game for long time fans and people who are only now getting into the series.

Played this game for years and really enjoyed it. If (like me) you hadn't played Yu-Gi-Oh! since watching the original anime as a kid, DG was a great introduction to the new game mechanics. Sadly, it has not been supported for 3 years now. Recently my game stopped connecting to the internet altogether, and following a reinstall I lost all progress. The game is essentially unplayable from here for me, but hopefully support comes back or they release a new, similar game in the future.

It's a good game but has flaws like pushing you to use effects too often when you don't need them and trapping you into doing special summons before you know what cards are being referred to. Other than that it is fun and challenging. It does not hold your hand at all, it's up to you to make a deck that works for an opponent, as the AI are absolutely brutal.

Always fantastic when the game can't even load for you! I start it up, not five seconds go by. Game crashes. I wondered if the game needed an update or maybe it was out of service! Nope. Reset my phone, scared to uninstall then reinstall having read these other reviews. I put a little money into this and I'm not about to lose that money despite having an account created already since people clearly can't login to their accounts. Fix the game. Clearly a lot is wrong with it.

This is one of the best strategy game i've ever played! I used to buy this trading card before just for collection of characters and i don't have any idea on how to play the game but now i'm already beating other duelist (thanx to that tutorial robot). I strongly recommend to learn the basics before you start the campaign. The thrill of the game and lots of surprizes is really entertaining. FIVE STAR is an understatement to rate this game. I really like it so much...

This game taught me how to play yuhioh in middleschool and I've been hooked on the real cards ever since. The game has a sleek and helpful system for help building decks and finding cards and I love it. I'm sad to see it go, but I wish it's developers and programmers the best, and hope they make great games like this moving forward. Thank you for the memories.
