Love this game!!! It's just an awesome game. Period!...or exclamation point in this case. Always evolving,but continues to maintain the nostalgic simplicity many of us grew up with. It remains relevant,challenging,and all around enjoyable. With the cost of cards being swept up in the hype of TCGs it is an easy,and cost efficient way for veteran players to continue their love of the game without breaking the bank,as well enabling introduction to a new generation of duelist.Its time to DUEL!!!

After years of play, I still enjoy this game. It does get repetitive once you realize that the top tier decks go in cycles as to which is best due to "nerfing" / The one thing I do not like is the constant connection issues that everyone experiences and yet the devs insist that it is not the game despite every user experiencing this. *original review 5/15/19* this is great. not much to complain about here. I just wish there was an option to skip dialog during battles.

Voice audio and a few other audio files DO NOT WORK on ANY of my Samsung devices. I play this game for the voices and am extremely upset that they don't work on any devices I own, but they used to. I've tried everything and they still won't work. Please fix this issue

So far I am really enjoying this game. There are a lot of mechanics to learn, but it's been enjoyable. Don't necessarily have to pay to win, but it doesn't hurt to support the developers by buying a better deck if you have a few bucks you can spend. The long downloads and consistent wifi cutouts are something to keep an eye on though. Great game!

I tried downloading the game because I wanted to come back for the 5th anniversary bonuses but when downloading the game it only let me choose text language and the VOX option was just --- so I couldn't have their English dub voices while playing? Is there a way you can fix that? I loved hearing the characters, it just made everything so much more fun, please help!

The game is pretty fun and it's not too hard to get good cards, but I recently reinstalled the game after a while of not playing, and my progress was reset. I tried filing a account restoration inquiry and provided my email, user ID, username, when I last played, etc. They sent an email back asking for specific details of my last duel, screenshots of receipts of everything I've ever bought in the game, and the exact day I started playing. No one is going to remember that, so why bother asking?

The overall game is good but something happened the very next day it kept loading. (The circle part) i do not know how to solve this I've tried deleting it and installing it again multiple times but it kept going to that loading bit I'm not asking you to fix this I want to know how solve this.

Honestly the game was good during the old days, but as the different extra deck options became available, it was only a matter of time before the more ridiculous cards reared their ugly heads. Not to mention totally incomplete sets of cards released as box bait and decks with Credit Card Armor. The game can be summed up in four words: Pay us to win.

The game is all right but I keep having a connection problem even though I am in the area with good signal and now the worst part is that every time that I'm in a duel the connection gives away and then I lose as it says can you guys check this problem I think there might be a bug in your system

Considering I play MD, have duel IRL and have watched the show, this app does well to capture the essence of what dueling and the show is as a whole which is having fun. Yet, the 3 card format is...terrible imo. There are specific archetypes that are busted and others not so much, I.E. Busted: Pendulums/ Weak: Elemental Heroes. It is a great way to have fun to past time at work or stay in the loop about the series and progression of said series but this game is not to be taken seriously. 4/5👍🏿

Fun game, reminds me of the card game as a kid. The shops are a bit clunky, i thinks those need work. Years down the road. I still think the game is great, if not free to play friendly. Expect to pay out some money here and there, if you want to be competitive.

This game is good, but my problem is the connection losses every other match, it doesn't matter if I'm on my high speed net or data it's like every other game I lose to connection. I'd blame t mobile but I can't because it happens on my home net too. Also it seem like over the years if u don't have a deck that's going to 1 turn someone then you'll lose every match. 1 turn games every game isn't too fun

The game itself is a 5 star game. The only real reason I rated three stars is because the update (specifically the one that has 684 rows) takes forever and I've deletedthis game off my phone multiple times. I'd say to try and cut down on update size and speed, to only release a few things at a time and then call it like "Duel links update (First Part)" and then release the second part a bit after. Games like call of duty have done this so many times so I think for you guys it will make it better

It's nothing like the original games from way back, if that's what you're looking for. The pace has gotten 10x faster (this is not bad), and the creators, I guess, in an effort to make old, weak cards (like blue-eyes, by the way) relevant, have enabled awefully powerful support cards, and new versions of the same card such as blue eye cards that have effects. Most wins are based on luck, as a victor is often decided on the second turn. Often times you have no shot purely because you went first.

3-star for Free2Play(ers). 4-star for Pay2Win(ers). F2P:You have access to most cards, but you have a purchase limit (gems, which are okay to come by). This can really prohibit you if you're hunting a specific set of cards. Also a very noticeable impact to Solo/Staging. P2W:The store is your best friend, but it can be overwhelming and very easy to overspend. Watch your wallets please. BOTH:The auto features are not worth relying on. Use them for guidance but manual dueling/decking is da way

Honestly amazing game I feel the only way to make this game better is to add more card animations and legendary duelist quips and probably the most exciting adding a mode where u can summon up to 5 monsters and set up to 5 spell/trap loving the events always something pretty rewarding ❤

It could be a good game,but the game balance is horrendous. So often I've played my turn, or not even been given the chance to play one card, and then you just sit there for 20 minutes while your opponent plays card after card and you lose, just no fun boring. Edit, if you do play an event eg KC cup and you get high up watch how many times in a row you go first, this enables the game to fix your loss. I've just done 20 straight log ins and off a 'coin toss' went first every time. RUBBISH

Great way to make the core game more playable without spending half a day on a duel. Unfortunately the devs are hellbent on an unrelenting meta shift, meaning any effort put into a competitively viable deck will be wasted when half of it hits the limited list weeks down the line. Also doesn't load on mobile signal, and you often have to spend your first 10 mins in game dismissing event popups.

Spent hundreds of hours playing this game, loved it, until it started needling updates every other week. Now it wont let me install the most recent update, even though I cleared out memory on my phone. Plus I just recently got a new phone and can't transfer my data over. So I'm stuck with an old phone and not being able to play the game. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

This is by far my favorite game of all time. I play it every chance I get and I try my best to get new characters and cards through the amazing events. There are problems with the connectivity, however my biggest problem is with the global chat and I'm not the only one who feels this way. Please update the language restrictions and the word count for sentences. I will rate 5 stars once that is done and I will soon be taking a break from the game and hope that this problem is fixed when I return

I love the game, but the account recovery is the least helpful most Petty and vindictive people I've ever interacted with. As if it wasn't enough I lost all my stuff and shattered my phone in which I was playing the game, they still felt it necessary to rub it in by telling me to leave a little memo to myself with the account details next time. Despite me providing the account number the account ID what dualist I last played as when I last logged on and other necessary questions.

Alright so I'm gonna edit the review which was originally 5* because of its unique take on the popular card game. It has gone stale. The core gameplay is still solid but they added a "duel pass" which is basically 10 packs that you get and a music player. That's it. It's f2p friendly in the beginning as it gives you sufficient resources to get a solid deck BUT grinding for more packs is near impossible with monthly releases and no solid way to earn gems.

The game is great, all the characters and worlds are cool, and you dont really require to be a pro player in order to get good cards. However, there is a constant problem with connection issues and downloads, and it doesn't help at all if you have bad internet or service. Overall, good game, would play every day.

It's fun, but the algorithm is so messed up. Some cards in your deck show up every duel while others don't show up at all. Also why is it that this game PvP gives you streaks. You might be winning for days straight and sometimes they won't let you win a single duel. Can you make the win lose ratio more balanced. Those streaks get annoying, especially on the losing side.

The game is extreamly pay to win. You get almost nothing from the free gifts and you're basically forced to either struggle forever or drop cash on this game. If the pay wall didn't exist this game would be do much better. Every time I log in, I get atleast 3 pop ups for things I do not care about, I just want to play the game, not mindlessly click through pop ups.

Duel Links is and will stay the best Yu-Gi-Oh video game ever created. For me even Master Duel doesn't provide this ton of fun, superb graphics, with the feeling of being in the anime. And morevoer, only Duel Links gives me these vibes of excitement when I'm dueling. I prefer a deck shorter focusing on a clearly sharpened combo, with fast paced duels, rather than a 20 minutes long and slow duel in Master Duel. Adding to that, the whole package is more beautiful, with true big HD cards.
