The app is a massive battery drain, especially since it doesn't automatically record trips like it claims unless you're leaving your phone unlocked the whole drive. The scoring is ridiculous, for good scores you would need all your driving to be no traffic at midday without hitting any red lights or stop signs. If you have an early morning shift at 4am like I do. Get ready to have your work commute automatically docked 90 points in "Time of day" component

The rating system is not on point at all. I get terrible scores solely based on the time i travel lowering my score by 15 overall points. I use a bluetooth in my ear and it says i was using the phone or my phone dosent move yet the score is randomly in the 90s. I do the speed limit and my score for that is all over the place random as well. I like that you can put it as a passenger or whatever, but for an app that can determine how much youre going to have to pay, it definitly needs to improve.

Seems extremely inconsistent... get high 80s and 90s in many components but gives a low score in smooth driving no matter what. That causes the overall score to plummet meaning it is very diffficult/impossible to get a good score. Problems with recording trips as well, and wth is up with the time of day rating, people usually cant control when they have to drive like during rush hours.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH, "scores" are inaccurate and I question the recording of my "driving habits." Is the minimal (if any) discount worth the frustration? PR sells my data for a profit, so who actually benefits? My "scores" are ridiculously inaccurate. Docked points for "phone usage" when a. I didn't use my phone at all, no calls, no text messages, NOTHING, NADA. And b. Even IF I receive a call it's through Bluetooth, handsfree, and doesn't even require me to take my hands off the wheel. Docked points for speeding even if I am driving on the highway, cruise control on, set one mile an hour BELOW the speed limit. (Yes, I tried it, recording a "trip" while I was driving on the parkway/no stops/no slowdown for tolls/cruise control on.) Score? 68. I "wasn't driving smoothly," I "was driving faster than the cars around me", and docked points for phone usage.?!?! When in actuality everyone was speeding to get around me, the cruise control kept the car at a consistent 64 mph, and I never touched my phone. Trying to drive to get a good "score" using this app is a death wish on New Jersey roads, and it is actually more dangerous then it is worth.

Almost impossible to get a good score on this app. I just drove to the mall and I got a low score because i stopped and stop signs and red lights. Also only gave me a score of 80 for phone usage when I didn't use my phone at all during the trip. The algorithm on this app needs a serious adjustment.

app is terrible. doesn't record trips, anytime the trip recording starts it stops when your phone goes dark. if you wake your phone up it counts against using your phone while driving which lowers your score. app doesnt record acceleration properly. i could accelerate at 2 mphs per hour at a stop sign and still get marked for quickly accelerating. app never closes once i leave and exit. i always have to force close the app

This app is TERRIBLE. Let's call a spade, a spade. Not only is it incredibly glitchy and a HUGE drain on your battery, your score has NOTHING to do with your actual driving skill. It actually rewards illegal and dangerous driving. Riding on the shoulder, running through stop signs/lights and ignoring yield signs insure a higher smoothness because its impossible otherwise.

Does not record trips in their entirety. Shuts off without warning during trips. States that cruise controlled trips are driven faster than normal even though the speed is calculated by an independent device (ie.,GPS TOMTOM) Does not automatically record trips and must be activated manually and monitored during trips (a Dangerous distraction to the driver to look away from the road to check the status of the app.)

Absolutely horrible. It stops recording my trips and I get 1 mile trips everyday when I drive over 20 miles to work everyday! I'd rather not have my battery drained daily and I could live without the discount! Horrible app with extreamly inaccurate recordings! NOT WORTH IT!

This is the most inaccurate thing ever. I don't like that it is constantly running in the background.I can't have music playing on my phone while I'm driving because it's considered "distracted driving". This app is trash.

the app isnt gonna score u higher then a 70 it says NO MATTER WHAT im not driving smoothly enough the slightest exceleration or quick brake will give u a bad score, even if ur driving fine ur getting a bad score. it does record even if ur not driving but u can pause this in the app, i think having ur phone on at all even a lit screen is gonna lower ur score too. they probably do tht on purpose so they don't have to lower ur insurance rates smh

I understood how this works! First, I have to say that the speedometer on the highway is Crazy! I was driving SATURDAY, ON QUARANTINE, on Turnpike at 65mph with nobody around me. I drove for 1 minute and stopped the trip to see, This app said my speed was bad. So I lowered it to 55, then after another minute, same thing, I drove on 45mph on a 65mph zone and the app was happy with me. Well, fix this then this app will be great. Gentle drive is gentle drive people. Most times I become passenger.

They removed my review somehow. App has to be run in the background constantly even when you're not driving, draining battery. Also trips are vastly inaccurate and impossible to get 100% on

Horrible app. If i couls give it a zero star i would. Does not record data properlly at all. For example said i was using my phone while driving but wasnt. Also said i was going 85 mph but was only going 40. Serious updates are needed asap

I just started using it yesterday and i already know I'm going to have problems. I have to take downtown Newark (McCarter Highway) to get to work, there is a traffic light in every corner, approximately 15 traffic lights in a stretch of a couple of miles (literally in every block) . The app told me that I need to have a smoother drive, less braking and accelerating. Does that mean I need to run a red light? And that was at night, when there was less traffic.

Very inaccurate, I work night shifts so why am I being penalized for time of day? I really don't know how smooth of a driver I have to be, I honestly can't break any sooner or I'll be a hazard to other drivers, I also would be a hazard if I don't accelerate fast enough. I respectfully turn off my app when I'm a passenger or edit it if I forget. I understand all the features. Currently Unistalling YUBI for YUBI 2.0 Hopefully its more accurate

Very inaccurate. Wrong information is logged in. I haven't driven my car in about 2 months as I am disabled and only drive on very short occasions and very rarely. How can I have any talking on phones while driving or any score period and haven't driven my car since I got this insurance not even a month ago?! This app is bogus bull@#$%!!!

Horrible app!!! It doesn't matter how well you drive . This app doesn't allow for pot holes or braking fast if the car in front of you suddenly stops. There is no way you can win. This is trash!

I was told to install the Yubi app, register, and keep it running to record trips. After a month my account was deactivated, and my discount was removed. I called support and they said they saw no record of any account being registered and there was nothing they could do.

The scores seem like complete nonsense. there's no way of knowing if you're breaking and accelerating is because of aggressive driving or defensive driving. Also, how is driving after midnight more dangerous than driving at 8 a.m.? Silliness.

Not accurate at all. You can drive like a grandma, and accelerating so slow & steady but will still get a 61 for smooth driving. . . Plymouth needs to do better! 1/10

I was told your app sits in the background barely noticable. But your terms are that you record everything that happens. Most of that is none of your business. I don't want my info sold to anyone. And this is a mining app. Not what was described to me. That is false advertising. And a downright lie.

HONESTLY I don't even know what it does as I was only told to download it. Updates are ALWAYS showing up but it never works. Can't understand how this is supposed to know what it says it does as I have tons of small streets that aren't even on this.. SERIOUSLY makes no sense..

App does not account for update hands free phone application. Also does not truly capture your true driving experience. Geared to always be in companies favor.

My speed States that I drove 88 miles per hour which is totally incorrect I didn't even do no more than 55 if that what is going on with this app. The time starting and ending is also incorrect..Thank you for the response.....

the worst app Ever, like everyone else who is force to use it, the rating system sux, time of day a rating catagory in this app is bonkers you really telling ppl when its safer for them to drive, phone use is another rating catagory thats nuts, one trip i didnt toched my phone the entire time home still rated me a 95%, how is that not a 100%, i didnt freaking touch not one nor did it ring, i could go on but to sum it up, its made to increase our rates not help us (the consumer) in any way shame

they tell you not to fraud the insurance company but that's exactly what the insurance company is doing to the customers this app doesn't work you can't accurately judge how a person is driving if you're not there you can't judge a person talking on the phone when he has a Bluetooth that automatically answer the phone without touching anything like the President says this app is a fake and a fraud it is used true manipulate unsuspecting customers to pay more for insurance then you should have to

I have done the same milage collection with my previous insurance company not as complicated as this. This app also is eating up my phone and creating problems.not happy

Doesn't account for manual transmission vehicles. Unfair "smoothness" scoring as a result because us manual drivers downshift! How could the devs not account for this huge variable?

Great app for my insurance company but the problem is it starts when I'm a passenger in a car and that would reflect on me as if I'm the driver can that be changed
