YubiChallenge

YubiChallenge provides a simple interface for using the NFC challenge-response functionality built into a Yubikey Neo. Note that this app doesn't do anything on its own! It will be started by a 3rd party app such as keepass2android when necessary. It exists as a standalone app so that the majority of users who do not own a Yubikey do not have to grant NFC permissions unnecessarily and to provide a convenient interface for to this functionality for other developers.

Works, when it works. The problem is getting tag key read - for me it takes appr 10-20 times, swiping and touching the gold contact. Almost like the app is sampling for the key intermittently. Not sure if this is just me, my key or phone.

I had some of the issues that the other reviews mentioned. I solved it by making sure this was pointed at the second slot. I then closed keepass on the computer and the phone and made sure everything was the same version of file and then it worked. I scan the Neo, then I type my password. The critical part is making sure the XML file gets copied with the database.

Wish it didn't need the xml file. Mine was corrupted but thankfully I keep old versions saved and the secret recovery written down.

I've only been using this app for 5 minutes but have only had a 50/50 success rate with NFC detection. Will give 5 stars if the detection rate improves.

Doesn't work on Android 6.0. When started via Keepass2Android it only shows a white screen and NFC detection fails. I wrote a mail to the developer, but he isn't answering.

I'm very thankful for this - as I can have a clean, secure keypass. Dev, please keep up the good work. If you open a donation package in the store, let me know. I'll support you! I run Android 5.1.1, latest patches, and it works beautifully, though it does take a bit of time for the key to be recognized.
