Wow! Just the recipes alone are worth downloading this app! Beautiful photos, simple UI, fully functional. Kudos to the developers on this winner! EDIT: After using the app and loving it for more than a year, it's suddenly not letting me in. I signed in and went through the whole quiz which was strange. Then I selected my recipes for the week but when I tried to save them to my meal plan it bounced me back to sign in. After this happened 4x, I've decided to uninstall. What a shame.
yummy is awesome. I can quickly find recipes for favorite food and learn new recipes to keep my menu interesting. they include a pantry and a shopping list. no more starting to cook and finding out I am missing a key ingredient
App was always slow, but at least worked. After recent updates no recipe links work. Comes up with SSL errors for every website and claims the website isn't, however going directly to site and opening up recipe works every time. App is complete garbage at this point
Everything I had saved, for years, vanished!!!! Used to love this app, but now it's basically worthless. Years of searching, discovering, planning, saving, now gone. I do NOT recommend this.
Best recipe app out there! Recipes are drawn from blogs so practically endless options. Easy to filter dietary requirements and also search based on ingredients on hand! I recommend to everyone.
Usually pretty good but lately the app won't open. Just a black screen. All yims doesnt work right. Picture doesnt come up. Doesnt tell correct number of yums you actually have saved
very difficult to navigate. When I can find ingredients in a recipe, but not the actual recipe. when I click on "read directions" it goes to some non secured website that has nothing to do with food. Will definitely be canceling before the 30 day free trial expires.
The directions to the recipes are not available. When you click on the directions it goes to them then immediately goes to a blank page with a message that the directions aren't available. So what's the point in having a recipe app if you can't see the entire recipe? So frustrating.
If you have a food and don't know what to make just put it in and hit search. All kinds of recipes or styles of cooking will appear. You can make a grocery list, send a reminder to you and save your recipes for another time.
This has been the most frustrating piece of garbage I have ever purchased. Get steaks, chicken or seafood ready (on multiple occasions) and can't connect! I can't believe I goofed up this badly and gave away several to clients fir Christmas Gifts. No wonder I have not heard from them "how great" this Yummly thing is. Mine is going in the trash!!!
The thermometer and app combo are awesome! Family and friends already thought I was a pretty good cook, but removing the guessing about internal temperature has elevated my cooking to a new level!
I've had this app for years and they have messed this it up. It is a mess in so many ways and not user friendly any more. I gave it time but has only become worse. What a miscalculation by the developers. A case of less is best.
Can't log in. You fill in your email address. Yummly sends you an email. You click the link. It takes you to a website. So no point in having the app, as there's no way to use your account with it.
Dropping this app down to 1 star, recipes are decent but it takes about 3 - 4 minutes for the recipe to load. I've tried removing the app and re installing to no avail, I just go straight to the web and get recipes a lot faster
I like this app because it's such an easy go to in a rush. You can search dishes and get shopping list instantly! Love it! I use it very often for new ideas as well!
Really like this little app with big recipes that includes your groc list(s) and ingredients pantry check list. makes it all convenient and in one place. these recipes look really good and plan on using some.
Every time I go for directions for a recipe it says that there is some kind of difficulty with the website. However, it has difficulty with every single recipe. I think it's because the app is having difficulties, not the website. If I can't get directions on a recipe on a recipe app, then why have it?
Great app for finding recipes and making shopping list. However it's always crashing on me and I have to force close multiple times a session.
Used to love this app but I can't even open it now.... I've deleted, downloaded again ( with newest update) hopefully they fix issues soon I've got thousands of recipes saved.
I set the filters for searching for recipes and app didn't narrow anything down to what I was asking for. Filters are completely useless
Pointless now I can't do a filtered search unless I pay. Google search is better anywaybfor options, I only ever used this because the limited choice was worth the filter
This is a great app, with absolutely delicious recipes. The only problem that I see is that the links to recipes on rare occasions do not work.
Fails to open after 4 May update. Just shows a logo, doesn't even get as far as the pot.
I used this every night in the kitchen for 18 months or so and suddenly it stopped being reliable. Everything I clicked on would close with a message that "instructions are not available at this time". Frustrating, under pressure. I rarely use it now except to get the recipes directly off editors' websites. Goes from bad to worse, now it refuses to even open.
