Works once in a blue moon. Its suppose to make life a little easier. It never seems to just go and do what's it's suppose to do. I top up my phone especially now that I need this app but for it to hardly work. I charge my phone fully hoping that'll be some aid, but nope just no. Now I'm known as a drive off now because I wasn't notified that My garage doesn't have the......Number Plate Recognition....adding more pressure to my anxiety and depression to a point where I just want to change
This is a team that really understands the user experience and brings options down to a simple app. Able to make payments through the app, able to just drive into a station and it recognizes the plate and asks for my permission, some freebies including notifications of pump discounts and last.. but not least, sharetank!! What a great concept. I practically use that for me and my extended family now. Great way to create stickiness!!
Great app I.e. sharetank. But would be great if the app wasn't done on the cheap. Modern phone, but the app literally is a headache to use, isn't responsive and takes forever to load so I can buy gas. Google pay QR code would be great replacement if it wasn't for the fact a unique qr code is generated for each gas transaction. If it's slow... why bother using the app to explore other content.. buying gas is enough struggle
At first I found this app rather slow and a little irritating but handy. Now, it's a little faster. Has always been easy to use and navigate. I also think it's a great idea having sharetank as an option. This means I don't have to stress as much about what I give up just to have gas as often.
I find the app horrible confusing. I pull up. It says it recognizes my car; I slot in pay by plate; I fill up and when I go to pay; it says time has lapsed. The attendant hasn't got a clue, I find it hard to stand next to him as he has severe BO. He tells me I have to pay now by card. No where on the app does it give you an option to confirm payment. It is totally over engineered; and I AM computer literate!!
Painfully slow!!! I can fill my tank and walk inside to pay before the ap even opens!!! Considering switching to Mobil or BP, a bit further for me to drive but if it means I don't have to waste my time waiting for the Z ap to open, it might be worth it! I've often flagged getting the discount and just paid full price because the ap was taking so long to open! :-(
This app is soooooo slow. I usually have to wait about 2 mins at the counter for the q code to come up to be scanned. Now I get it to come up while I'm putting gas in car as it's so slow. I like the app but its just so ridiculously slow.
Slowest app in all of history. Often takes upto 5 minutes just to load the QR code to scan for discounts. Each time the app is updated it jsut seems to get slower. And they have now added yet another step to get to your QR code which means even longer wait tines for something that should be rather straight forward...
If I could put zero stars I would. Adding a credit card suspends your account because of Visa Secure. Z App tells us to contact the bank to approve transaction, Bank give us a 2hr window to go ahead. We call Z app re update on bank & to reinstate suspended account but then informs us, we can only use the app after 24 hrs & to call bank again. Its an inconvenient app just to set up and change. Its not encouraging to use considering all these hurdles.
Slow, laggy, often buttons won't work. Most infuriatingly, not intuitive.
Pay by plate doesn't work all the time, i fill twice a week everytime i need to struggle, atleast allow to pay through Pay by app option always on app if you want to make it successful.
App is slow and lags a bit, what really annoys me is they advertise share tank on tv alot but when ever i try to use it, it just says opps something went wrong, just uselss
I get notifications but they don't open, when the ones that do open I can't use the links. Basically anything I want to do on this app doesn't work... and you don't properly explain what share tank is in the app so haven't used that either. If you want to sell me on your gimmick give me the information, I'm not going to waste the searching it out... just a tip in business free of charge 😁
Great app, has everything you need and other great features. Pre-ordering, air points, paying using the app etc. Easy to use.
No way to manage notifications. Notification settings just load to a blank screen. Sick of your notifications about green energy, most of us can't afford fuel, let alone a clean pipe dream
Works fine. Notifications are annoying and when you click on them they fail to open.
Not straight forward at all. Even when asking at the checkout they did not know how to use it and when I asked to stack the 10c it appeared I only got 6c off. I usually use the bp app and it's much more simple.
It would be easier to try contacting Jesus than using this ridiculous App. All the other fuel suppliers you simply tap pay in car, enter in pump and away you go. Shell you have to pass an exame first. Bloody hopeless
The app can be really slow to load up and you can't save drink orders very easily. The time you're given for your drink to be ready and the time it is hardly ever match - generally it's a five to ten minute wait, sometimes more.
It should be a good idea but the cameras often don't pick up the numberplate and if that happens it's a lot of messing around to access discounts available through the app. It looks like you can still pay with the app but no idea how
Don't download. App is unusable unless you have latest phones. Fix it! ffs been a year already and still no fixes. Stupid...
A good set of functionality, but it is really, really slow. I tap a button and then 30 seconds later it might work. Please fix performance and I will give 5 stars.
You discourage people even using a discount because the app speed Is horribly slow!!! Intentional because every other app on my phone loads very fast! Not just my phone either all my work colleges and friends and family experience it Our team will be taking our business elsewhere !!
Love using the app, it's easy to use and you can see your discounts. I've just started using share tank which is awesome😁😁
The app design is good, but it seems to pause and be unresponsive at times on my phone

Edit: Tried again. It said it recognised my plate then immediately said it had timed out. Useless app doesn't work. Previous review: Difficult to use and it's slow. I couldn't pay at app and had to register my plate and then drive to another pump before I could fill up. I was also annoyed that I was offered a 10c discount for signing up on the app only to find that the offer is only available if I pay at the till. What is the point of that if you want people to use the app??
