Z Launcher Beta

I must say, with all the mediocre launchers that have survived through in recent years, Nokia Apps have proven over time to be top 5 innovative and quality launcher bar none. That said, we hope Nokia Apps continues to inspire users worldwide with it's continued Innovation and Creativity "Be Proud, Be Vision, Be Winner." LG 4 - Android 6.0

This is the most intuitive, simplistic and quite a futuristic UI available in the android market. Nokia did a pretty decent job on this interface. It makes you feel that you are indeed using a smartphone, not a Chinese -made toy filled with meaningless widgets and icon packs and all other digital garbage of no use.

I like how quickly apps can be found using the letter gestures, but the app is sometimes slow in initially searching for a letter, although the letter gesture is recognized immediately and the app database is apparently already cached in the app drawer. The launcher is barebones, with only one widgets page, no folders, no custom animations, etc. I also feel that there should be a widget page button at the bottom next to the app drawer button. There should be gestures for the 4 top results of a letter gestur

A great app. Suits me. Since its a beta u cant expext it to be perfect. But still I wish I could add more widgets and use some of the classic Nokia style wallpapers. Also can u guys please introduce options like grid view for apps and other minor stuff

This is an amazing launcher and I love the concept but there is one problem. It does not support writing in multiple languages (English, Français et Japanese). So I can't search for apps such as Traduction or Neko Atsume easily. Keep up the great work though Nokia ;) #the way smartphones should have been

This is my favorite launcher I like different is this is it . im in the play store daily looking for something different then nova or touch wiz .it givea me a clean home screen and a creative way to find apps. The only things I didn't like is that u have to go to settings to uninstall apps and also can't make folders If those two don't matter to u then this is the launcher for u

Honestly, I'm not sure if I can go back to another launcher. Granted sometimes I mess up drawing letters, but for the most part this takes out all the hunting for apps, especially since it watches what time you tend to use certain apps and brings them to the front. Wish I could customize more, like being able to adjust the background tint, but it is worth the productivity boost.

I think it's the best launcher i had used till now very elegant and fast i liked it and i am using it since a year.Guyzz I would recommend you to install these launcher it will be amazing to use these app. But nokia its a very long time there is no update of these launcher and if you update the app and make some more new features it will be very great for all of us.

I was hoping for something along the lines of Meego-Harmattan when i loaded this. This looks neat and is a neat idea. If you dont remember the name of the app you want though, you still have to search through icons. If you dont write the letter just right you have to use another method. Please make a launcher that works like Meego-Harmattan

First of all I would like to appreciate Nokia's comeback with the beautiful and light weight Z launcher. After using this launcher I found something to be most importantly added to the existing one. A search option in the applications list. It's really very hard to scroll down and find apps.

I love the simplicity of it but I wish I could customize it more because it starts feeling very restricting. Id like to change the apps at the very bottom and adjust the size of widgets (I can't fix my calender). Other than that spelling out the app is quicker once i got used to it, I was so used to app drawers from other launchers and thought I'd never get used to this, but it's very intuitive.

This is what we call innovative. I certainly loved it but many easier things gone harder. Thers no folders which means you have to remember the name of all the apps. Honestly i d/l and remove so many apps a week. Please add folders so i can put them in a category and pick new apps faster.. love u Nokia anyway

First about widgets, It would be better to have scroll up & down so that we can add more widgets on the widget screen and some widgets are not working properly like gmail, google keep and some more. Secondly about gestures, i would prefer to have apps results first than contacts by using gestures. Rest i really liked the feel of the launcher.

gOOD APP BUt It SHOUlD HAVE MORE FUnctions like quick voice search icon, apps icon changer etc. It also dont hide apps. If it is hiding apps, then the apps should have shown only when we do something like enter a secret code. Other than these thing, this app is a great launcher with good gestures.

Works really really well on my moto G 2nd Generation. The only problem though is while swiping the screen. Sometimes it gets a little cheeky as it interprets that as a gesture, and also, if you uninstall an app, it still shows the app icon, but given the fact that it is still at beta phase, I expect a lot from you guys. I would definitely suggest this launcher to anyone who wants a luncher which is simple to use and is not beefy like other launcher which consume a significant amount of power and resources.

I really like this concept, and the launcher itself has come to a point where none to very few bugs occur even tho it's still in beta phase. The only problem I have seen is the absence of notification counter in front of some apps like messenger and facebook etc Keep improving it, I'm excited for the nokia comeback and I'm definitely buying your upcoming android phones.

Love the app. Really does ease up things. Identifies whatever I scribble with ease. Looks so much more interesting and apart from the lauchers available on todays android devices. It is not perfect though. For instance I couldn't figure out how to add an app to the home screen. But considering the fact that its on its beta phase; they will sort out things with newer updates. Don't have to scroll through all the apps. Thanks to the Z Launcher.

With so excitment I download this app, what a pathetic job done. Where is Contact & Messages Icon. The app listing innvoation is good. But, I have to call my college this morning I downloaded now I have to search for contacts and search name and then I have to call. Oh my god frustrating. If Nokia continue like this weird we could Yahoo next Nokia.

It's light and fast and smart i love the idea so, But nothing too good to be true, no weather widget on main screen just the clock and we all have the clock in the very top, weather in main screen is very important to me as i already have the clock on the top right side. I will give it 4 start because of the missing weather on main screen. Love you nokia

An almost never ending search for a launcher which redefines the android using experience ends here. Finally a launcher which not only is neat and polished, but also intuitive and useful. I tried and used almost all the good launchers in play store for a long time but was never satisfied. After using Z Launcher for quite some time, I am sure I won't be using any other launcher now till something even better comes up.

Arguably the most creative launcher you can find. Yet for a beta it's still a bit lacking when it comes to basic functionality. For example, you'll find fragments some incomplete features such as dragging apps from the drawer, but it doesn't do anything at all. Wish the icons were a bit bigger and that some of the most basic of widgets (looking at you, Google feed) were properly fitted. In the end it's still one of the prettiest, smoothest and interesting launchers out there, even for a beta.

Been using this for years on numerous phones. Simple and fast. No other launcher I have tried (which is most of them) is anywhere near as quick at navigating your phone. If you want fancy layouts, custom icons and a generally bloated screen try one of the others. If you just want to use your phone as quickly and as efficiently as possible then this is the only choice.

the idea is interesting, the interface is light and clean, but i need an option of turning off the feature of usage-based app list on home screen. also, the scribbling is making app access slower for me. smart grouping and nice alphabetical listing as it's made in aviate serves my needs much better.

Interesting idea but what to restrictive. On my normal homes screen I have for example 2 WA chat that I use constantly. With this it won't find them. I have to go pick WA and then look for the chat... Same goes for a Web page I always check that is pinned on my normal home screen and that it will not show up on the search... So good idea but why to behind on development and search is not deep enough.

It has very simple a clean UI. Afterall it has been developed by The Great Nokia. Please bring folder support icon (on the bottom 4 fixed icons) on home screen so that we can atleast create a folder icon containing 6-8 apps for quicker access without scribbling the letters. Don't bring app drawer But please add this feature to make it better. Thanks. Nokia fan.

First of all, it fits perfectly in what I want in a launcher, uncrowded and lightweight, not too many options. What I would like is to see widgets page vertically scrollable, so that I can have a glimpse at some of my widgets like music, calendar, book shelf. Other thing is that the menu button at the centre is redundant since it brings up the third page which can also be reached by just swiping to the left

Remarkable app, perhaps one of the best available. . . .but there are a lot of things for which answers seems impossible to find. It is a beta version at the moment so one day Nokia may publish a manual for it. For instance, on my phone, if I download an app there seems to be no way I can get Nokia to find or show it. I have to switch to another launcher and then go back to Nokia. Also, if I park an icon at the bottom of the screen as a short cut there seems to be no way of removing it without deleting the app. There are other things which you need to know as well but are very difficult to find. However, despite these niggles this is one of the best apps you will ever have used and I look forward to the day when Nokia has it as they want it when it will rapidly become one of the most downloaded apps.
