Played my share of Last Day On Earth, wanted to try something in the same vein but different. Well guess what? I'm not going back! This game has a lot of good things going for it. On top of the usual tropes you find in these survival zombie games, you have a lot of neat additions to set it apart. Since I am only beginning, I will keep it at first stars thanks to its good first impression and change accordinfly later, if need be.
If you're using a PC and an emulator don't bother with this, it'd only work if you were playing it on a laptop w/ a touchscreen interface like a tablet has. If you have a keyboard interface try the free "Wasteland Survival" on Steam. I don't think it gets as much support though so don't pay real money for it. I'm uninstalling this until I can play it on a laptop and even then I think it would be awkward.
Put a sorting system in the inventory not only in the storage. Make the map that can zoom in so that we can navigate where can we go. In auto gathering, put a specific item on what to gather. ex. tree, stones, grass, and foods. Reduce the rate of upgrading using medals. Overall the game is good and open for future improvements. If you put this in your game, I am sure many of players will install your game.
I love it. Compared with another survival game, this one is better. Although it still has an energy system, but it's still reasonable. Maximum energy is 10, and energy needed to travel is 1 (to all places, regardless the distance). It means we have a chance to travel 10 times, including to return to our base. Sometimes, the helper appears at the bottom of the map in our safe zone. He gives us coins, foods, and 5 points energy. But it's better if no energy needed to return home
After the latest updates last few days, game seems to be sync all the time. Have not encounter item missing problem for now. But level of difficulty is raised and after building a bench from scratch, more materials required to make it complete. Some of the items is not stated how it is to be made or where to find the materials. Overall, it is good.
Started this game several times. Learned a lot on each new start. Best advice to avoid restarting time after time is to follow the quests religiously- at least initially. My current restart is fine so far. Overall I think this game is one of the best of its genre. Restarted once again. Cannot find specific components to complete certain structures. For example the signal tower.
No doubt this game has a great potential to be the best zombie survival game. It has a balanced rewarding system and a balanced gameplay. My only problem is that sometimes the dog gets stuck on some places(it keeps running but still stuck). Overall, a great game. Edit: I suggest adding a night time evwnt in the game so that the torch can be of some us (I think). Still a great game.
Well the game's not bad but too complex. I mean the way the game progresses is quite complicated, though there are pros like you get a pet at almost the beginning then you get a turret to defend your base. But the graphics are choppy in high aswell. Slight adjustments can be made to the character's gestures. Well at the end its a good game but not as intense as other survival games I played. Not a bad choice, worth a try
I really wanted a survival game where you can craft, build a base, and survive. This is it, but with dogs. In my opinion, that makes it even better. The dog does sometimes get stuck while running, but he always manages to free himself. I was having trouble with the tutorial in the beginning, as it was sparse and I had already done the things it wanted me to do so I was kinda stuck, but I double clicked or something and that fixed the problem. The graphics are alright too. This game is so fun!
I've been enjoying the game so far. Theres still a lot of things that I need to learn about the game, but I can tell that feels good. I've tried other zombie-survival games but they are too hard to make any relevant progress, for example, that you need excessive amounts of materials or they are too hard to find. And in this game it feels so much easier. Love the fact that you can craft anything you want without having the espicific items in your inventory, they can be on the boxes. lotsofrewards
I liked it at first. Made a lot of progress. But the zombie wave hits more than once in a 24 hour period and destroys a lot of walls. Doesn't matter it its wood or concrete. So spend a lot of time cutting and crafting, slow process. Manage to repair 3 maybe 4 walls, only for the wave to hit again and destroy even more. What's the point of upgrading the wall if they are so easily destroyed. Its not fun if all you do is make walls. Considering uninstalling.
The game is really fun and the best that I've played compared to others like it. My reason for 3 stars is how hilariously expensive the in game purchases are. I would have no problem paying for some things but everything costs waaaaay too much. Please lower prices so that I can give you my money! Also I find it irritating when you go into/under some objects like shipping containers; the top doesn't go transparent or translucent, so you can't see your character.
The controls are bad because the size of buttons is not changeable (Its a problem for people with big fingers like mine) at the start of the game it seems that the game just frows a lot of items to you even thought you are clueless what to do. The game has to be changed a lot still and some big goals to make it more fun .
When I downloaded the game I thought that it would be another rip-off of another popular zombie game. However, I was amazed not because the graphics were pretty nice and not over-the-top( by the way I did not experienced them fully due to my phone's old technology), but also the gameplay was captivating. In comparison to the rest of them, it annihilates a lot of the primal grind that you have to go through by rewarding you with free stuff. I recommend it to everyone who enjoys killing zombies.
Truly a great survival game. Excellent gameplay and graphics. It's not too tough. I only have two issues. The equipment workbench doesnt seem to work and you can only put 8 doors in your home map. If you want a limit at least make it 15 or 20. Also when I intercept zombie waves it should reduce the damage to my home even if i dont defeat it. One time there's one only Floater left. Damaged 40 of my wooden walls just as an unintercepted zombie wave did. Please fix.
I now have changed my review from 4 starts to 1 star. The game was great before this latest update. All we wanted was little changes. I hate the new way of processing things, doing it 4 at a time. The signal tower has changed from needing a tin alloy to a control bench which I can't find anywhere. The departure is too damn difficult. All zombies everywhere are double their health. Crafting tools requires more items now. I hate this update. Take it back.
It's a decent game not too hard and not too soft. The only thing I would like to be able to do is switch between my boxes in a single menu rather then go from one box to the next. I would also like to be able to upgrade boxes and work benches for better gear and storage. Dropped to two stars cause I can't load the game anymore.
There aren't many mobile games that interest me that long anymore so this has surprised me a bit by how much fun it can be. graphics, missions, hunting and gathering, etc. you can get lost with so much to do. Its somewhat difficult starting off with nothing. Character died 3 times from thirst before I was able to actually get water. Only other issue is how long it takes to replenish stamina. An hour is a little long but also kinda forces you to get off and do something with your life. 5/5
I'm really enjoying this game so far! The atmosphere, graphics, and gameplay are great! My only issues with the game are actually rather quite minor. The dog, and my playable character tend to randomly get stuck on nothing. They just freeze! I wasn't sure if this was a bug or not, but it is a little annoying, especially since I often have to close out of the app then restart it again. Also, it would be cool if you could choose your gender, as I'd quite like to play as a female character. :)
I've played others similar apps, and I enjoy this one. I like the repairing feature, companion available from the beginning, basic resources always available at the base, and the classic musics from the radio. I only want cloud save so I can play it again later with diff device & all of the music played automatically switched from one song to another while I'm in the base coz recently the radio plays the same song if I dont go out and back again at the base. Good job, devs.
This is a really cool game and I like it alot. I would have given 5* but I feel like it could be improved a bit. There REALLY needs to be a bit of a tutorial on how to craft things or at least labels on the materials and/or where to aquire them. Spent a LARGE amount of time needing to build something, missing a component and looking at the tiny little picture of it trying to figure out "What the heck is that? Where do I get it?"
Enjoyable game, feels much more like a survival game than others that claim the same genre. Solid basis for crafting and building a shelter, great to need to hunt/forage for food. Tutorial Hand" can cause the game to "Break", 1 example when you use all max craft slots before getting to the part in the tutorial when you need to craft something, you can not do so unless you skip the whole tutorial. Also (unless I haven't figured it out) not being able to move workshops etc is very annoying.
