ZANACO Mobile Banking

User friendly and easy to navigate. Unfortunately, exchange rates are always outdated and the app generates inappropriate error messages. For example, when a session has terminated and you're trying to check your account balance, it will say "service unavailable" instead of "session expired" which may mislead the user.

I find the app easy to use. The security features make it even more appealing. When i change my device I have to notify the bank through customer care and they perform a device change within an hour and the staff are friendly. If anyone enters my account details on another phone fraud alerts are sent to my phone instantly and they're unable to use the app. I give the app 5 star rating because of the security features.

1. The app doesn't have tab for transfer to mobile money services account like MTN or Airtel. It will instead transfer to Xapit account if the phone number number you are trying to send to is linked to any Xapit account 2. When you log out it takes long to close the page as if there is no internet connection while the connection is on. 3. Information on the min statement is scanty. Need to add more details to describe exact transactions 4. However, works perfectly well for the rest of the tabs

This app is useless, they might as well just pull it out from Google play like they did on App store. It was working just fine on my iPad but the moment I tried to switch to my iPhone, it became unresponsive. The thing is you can't switch between devices and it has now become nonfunctional 🗑️.

I'm not sure if it's just the app that sucks or just the bank in its entirety. Even after a thousand calls with assurances of my issue needing only 24hrs each time, I still can't log into this app on the device I switched to. Do you just hate efficiency? All these negative reviews with the same issue and no improvement. shame!! Btw I loved loved it before I switched devices which is why it breaks my heart now.

This app is very annoying. It's unusable. You have no access to login. It only allows you to put in phone number and not password. You'll keep receiving fraud alerts. Please zanaco work on your facilities.

It's completely unusable. The app was working okay on my iPad and Android phone. Then the iPad one became unresponsive and was pulled from the App Store, and the Android one refuses to log me in on my new phone. It's a mess, especially compared to FNB and the flawless Airtel app. 0/5 would not recommend.

I would have given it zero stars but google won't let me. The UI is horrendous. The customer service is worse. I still cant log in after changing my device, it says "Unknown Customer Device". How can a big banking institution fail to hire professionals to make them a quality app? This one was probably made by some Director's nephew. It is shameful. Do better.

Everyone has his or her own experiences and it depends on what that person is looking for. However, me I found no problem with this app. I remember the last time how it really helped me when I was in remote area and I wanted to send money to my families, but the network line I registered for my Account didn't catch at the same place, apart from one other network which was at 2G, I just logged into the same app and do the mobile transaction whilst my registered line was off and it was successfu

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The error messages are cryptic and not useful. The UI is clunky. You can't even access the drawer menu from all pages. I just end up using USSD instead.

Set up the app to not automatically detect the secret code. Not everybody has their sim card in the device that is running the app for different reasons. This basically limits access to technological enhancements that your clients can grow into!!!!

the first version seemingly worked...soon after some updates and hell broke loose. I could not log In and all attempts to fix it had very little results. I kept reporting until I just gave up. I have since uninstalled the app.

Nice app. The only downside is that automatic verification of phone number takes forever. You have to go text messages to retrieve the validation code and input it manually. Kindly sort out the bug.

Somehow good but it has a big problem in terms of exchange rate ever since it was launched, and the developer has never done anything good about it. It gives wrong and fake exchange rate, fake app in Those lines!!!!

When I just download it, i had no issues but every time you make a transaction you need to refresh for new balance, so hectic.. After UPDATING it, PROBLEMS STARTED. Its now taking too long to process and most of the operation is failing.. Ggrrrhh

The app doesn't work, I keep getting an error message to check my internet connection despite having network. It needs improvement I was looking forward for a handy application but ooops, one of those failed apps.

I am so frustrated. I've never in my whole life come across a worse banking app than this one. What is the point of having a mobile app when we can't even log in no matter what we try? Such unacceptable quality is exactly why fin-techs like Zazu, mobile money platforms and other banks are thriving in the digital space. We're in 2022, Zanaco, and you're among Zambia's biggest banks. Please do better.

The latest update doesn't seem to work on the first time verification stage. The manual verification was working out just fine but with this latest update the automatic one doesn't work. I wish I could go back to the previous version 😔.

The app doesn't work with Android 9. Since upgrading my Xiaomi S2 phone to Android 9, the app has not worked. A bank employee put my phone number on his Android 8 phone and was able to login using my password. So, the app is not compatible with Android 9. Also, it has not been updated since May 2019. That is a huge scandal.

The app looks great, but it is not working as now, am unable to register or log in, the form for entering data i.e. For phone number is not responsive. Developers should look into it as that may affect the app's repute.

Still failing to log in as of late. Keeps telling me I'm not connected to the Internet. And your call center is ever busy. LOUSY. Never seen a more useless banking app. Bug haven't been fixed upto now. I can't even login

It's a great app big up to you guys I have been using this app for quite some years now, but I would love it more if you can improve it by adding figure print login, just to make it more secure from people around you whenever you want to login.

Buggy. I can't login. No pin code provision. Some error code dialogue can't stop popping up. If I could rate it at 0.01 stars, I would. Fix your app, Zanaco!

This app was perfect until the latest update. It's pathetic to say the least, I practically have been locked out of the app because it just won't log in. Removing it, let me know when you work on it.

The older version was better! I cant seem to login after ugdating. It does not give the feature to enter the code manually, instead it goes on loading until no one knows when. Very horrible do something ba Zanaco!

Dysfunctional app. Unable to log in due to bug that hasn't been fixed for months now. Basically unusable in its current state. Wouldn't recommend.

Am unable to change the mobile number with this updated app and the min statement doesn't show the figures of transactions. It also takes time to login most of the time. The previous version was better.

The app is convenient but you get charged for checking your balance! Also, mini statements do not display properly (some numbers are clipped).

This app works perfectly fine. I don't know what kind of phones those who are complaining about it use or are just used to the primitive USSD. My only request to ZANACO is to add an option of transferring to mobile money accounts such airtel or mtn. Some people live in areas without ATMs or zanaco booths. This could be helpful. Other banks have done it already

The ministatement module is quite useless on most smartphone screen sizes. The amounts can not be seen and the interface is unable to reorient to the screen format
