Being dependant on intetnet connection is not great on a ferry with subpar WiFi. Today was the first time it actually successfully loaded the game. However, after the first poster it refused to refresh. The only way to get it to recognise a new one is to restart the game, thus losing all progress. Conclusion, no way to finish the game.
Do you guys need help in UX department? Let me write some ideas. First, don't tell the users they are the problem when they are not. Second, your icon is not intuitive. I have zero idea if your app works or not, no error just blue icon somebody wakes up and no AR. When it doesn't work my connection got blamed when the code publisher didn't publish the item to the server and my connection works just fine. Luckily, I test it first before telling my daughter.
It works fine with the magazine "How it works". Aim at an AR Zone code from it and the object is projected on the screen. What I don't like is that I can't view the object from any perspective. I would like to be able to rotate the object using touch instead of having to rotate the page or move the phone. Other cool feature would be to get the object and to inspect it without having to point the camera at the code. Also being able to rotate the object
App seems to work OK, but the whole concept of augmented-reality advertising is just stupid beyond belief. Viewed a zappified ad from BJ"s Club that didn't tell me anything that wasn't in the original ad — except that it displayed in 3D.
it's OK when you first download but if you turn your devise off for any length of time then turn it back on the app wants to scan again when you start to scan after 5 seconds it stops and the message app is not working appears and it won't do anything else
It's just a fancy QR cod for people with a very short attention span. It plays music and things spin around. I scanned one and the 4 circles that popped up where too small for me to see without putting the phone 6 inches from the end of my nose. Its USP is QR codes for idiots. I bet it was designed by Mac users. For the rest of us, QR code and go to a webpage without the song and dance for the dribblers.
LittleBigPlanet™ Ok so basically I wanted to get this app for the LittleBigPlanet™ Vita X Zappar AR code found on the bottom of the LittleBigPlanet™ Vita box so I could play a nice minigame on my OnePlus 8 mobile device. It worked fine and it was fun. Highly enjoyable for someone who currently does not own a PlayStation™ console. I recommend playing it, if you want to, Google "LittleBigPlanet Zappar code" and go to images, and then scan the image with the code and the box art and bam! 🤠
This app works great! Only a feedback: if you could, add the manual focusing camera since at some distance it'll get blurry and we can't refocus it (the zap code still works fine though!) great app :)
The app itself is fine but zapworks itself is a pretty poor representation of an AG experience. Things should integrate into the image , not be stuck on the screen
We went to golden corral and played claw machine and won a scooby doo toy. I noticed it had a zappar tag on it so I downloaded the app. No issues for me and my Samsung 7. Scanned the zap circle on the toys tag and loaded up scooby and shaggy. dressed them up and took a picture with it and that was it. Cute and fun. Might download it again if i get another zappar toy.
Have not been able to scan a single zap code. I have internet on, I'm just trying to preview some work. I've tried it on several different zapcodes. It just won't scan. I tried reinstalling. It doesn't work.
Worst app. I tried on 3 devices and it just was'nt downloading. The download meter got stuck in 46%. I have strong internet and more than 15 GB ram. If this was a big app I wouldn't mind it BUT THIS APP IS 5MB. Fix this problem. I wish i could give 0 stars.
Failed to run once. Unable to run with screen overlay and I was unable to solve this issue in settings. App repeatedly crashed on Xperia c3
This app is the future of advertising. Brilliant product, very easy to use and provides us with a lot of tools (on the Zapworks website) for creating engaging & innovative Augmented Reality ads.
Doesn't work. There is just a black screen with the Zappar logo spinning on it saying it is scanning. Cameras don't seem to be working in Zappar app.
Just simply did not work. Gave app consent to access camera, the app focused on a number of barcodes and just did nothing.
Zappar keeps telling me to connect to wifi or data, which I tried both, but still didn't work. Please fix.
Great app, love using zapworks and zapbox. Other than not enough tutorials for both zapworks and zapbox. And occasional bugs. Its a great app.
Change the colors of this app. Mostly the icon. It's depressing. Just ugly. Looks like cars if a 1970s old ghetto playground. Sorry. Just horrible Is all. Could repell people.

I like the app and all but there's one more you need to put on all other phones and not just the iphone. The zap menu
Very unintuitive, can't find "browse zaps". Gave up after 5 minutes and I still don't know what it's supposed to do.
Works great, exactly as described all these bad reviews are probably from people whose phones aren't compatible with AR
Zero user friendly...the tutorials are outdated and doesnt really support any current formats.
It used to work but now it doesn't. I keep getting "make sure you are connected to the wifi" and I am. Please fix this.

is McDonalds and snoopy aware that they are paying thousands to advertise on kids meals boxes with a zappar code that just says coming soon... sorry whose keeping the box that long to come back and check another day and why wasn't it set up in time for the launch of the boxes. just silly really. app deleted.
Good idea poor execution. After the first zap game anything goes black with music background. Zapping uninstall!
No need to be super elaborate: this app simply does not work. It worked the first two times I tried it, but now will scan the code and only play the audio, no video whatsoever, just whatever your camera may be pointed at. I've tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and re-installing, I even tried using the app on a different device. Unfortunately I encountered the same results each time. I'm bummed, as I think this is a really cool concept with some potentially interesting applications.
