ZappIR Universal IR Remote

Worthless!!! STAY AWAY!! I paid for this app and it stopped working after a few months. I have emailed support and have yet to receive a reply much less help. If they treat paying customers this way, imagine how they treat those that don't!

Don't know why others have issues, but this app works great on Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Galaxy Note 4.

After a long search I finally found an app that works as promised. Very happy that I paid for the add free. I highly recommend this app. I do wish that you could use it on more than one devise without having to pay 7.90 for my wife's phone.

Complicated to set up but very customizable. Opted for paid version

This is absolutely the best app that I have found for multiple devices I am a programmer for control4 and Elan home automation systems and this thing works great!!!!

I've tried like 15 different app's. Only one that worked with my Frigidaire a.c.

Worthless. App showed nothing but a blank screen.

This worked right away when nothing else did. Could use more customizable interface but im happy with it. Thanks!!!

Worked out of the box instantly for my devices. None of the other apps did. This is truly impressive.

App will not work if don't have access to your phone and contracts why do you need my info to run? Data miner stay away

The app no longer works on my HTC One M7 since the last update. Followed your fix suggestions without any luck. Still works on my Samsung tablet. I'll try again after future app updates.

This app can take some time and patience to setup, but once that's done with it's pretty much the most powerful IR app that I've used.

Great App! A little trial and error, but you can figure out how to operate any device. I wish this was backed by Google so that it's transferable to other gadgets.

Using a S6 Edge with a 50 inch Sanyo flat screen. I cut the cable months ago and bought an antenna. Well I lost my remote and have never been able to configure. This was the first app I tried based on the reviews and it works just perfectly. Well worth the 7 bucks.

It does absolutely nothing. Except select the type of devices TV DVD etc. Does not load the names of different devices like sony toshiba etc.. with or with out internet connection. I wish ibcould rate no star sovu will understand qs it requires no star at all

I made the in-app purchase but then realized it won't control my Sony Home Theater receiver. There are dozens of Sony IR codes in the database, but the one I need is just not available, even after going through all of them. VERY TIME CONSUMING! Please add a code for Sony BDV-T10.

1 ad per day really isn't that bad, but since this is the best remote I've used on my android period it's worth the pro. Made custom buttons to link to minix remote in the phone and it's been smooth transitions between the two. Lost my TV remote weeks ago, this app help me gain the acceptance to let it go and be free wherever it might be.

Finds the codes for just about anything I throw at it. Found a blu ray player at goodwill for cheap but no remote. Found the code in under a minute at the store, tested it before purchase, and bought the the BD Player for like 10 bucks. Great addition to my galaxy s4. Well worth it.

Very well made......BUT not impressed with licence expiration only after 1 day and being asked to watch a video linked, to get an EXTRA day's use out of what could be a very good app. I personally would download a different universal remote, as I'm sure that there are plenty out there, but as for this app, give it a wide birth.

Rarely does an app deliver on its promise, but this one comes about as close as they get. I love how customizable this app is. I love that I can create a hybrid remote that all controlling multiple devices without changing screens. I can set the primary remote functions to my STB, but change things like the volume buttons to control my soundbar. Things it could still use: ability to backup profiles (WITHOUT stupid social media integration), move buttons around, change button shape, customizable icons.

It is definitely a good app. I love that I can make a hybrid remote for my TV and xbox, with some links to related apps and webpages. However the layout itself has a lot to desire with customization. And the widget ruins the layout and doesn't work until you initiate it by doing a command within the app. Otherwise I would love to dedicate a page of my home screen to it. And it would be nice to be able to set specific numbers of pulses to specific commands. Please update.

Fumbled around with other store remotes, they don't hold a candle to ZappIR. This Universal Remote can control thousands of devices that have conventional IR recievers. Make sure you check if your phone has an IR blaster, else this app wont work. Even worked on an old stereo that I didn't know had an IR reciever. Functionality is hit and miss, but its to be expected among thousands of supported devices. Overall, very pleased with ZAPPIR, makes my Samsung Galaxy 4 that much more useful.

Works on my humax sat,and Sony TV, expensive to buy app, could be improved by photographing original remote and allowing you to map buttons to photo, or analysing buttons on photo.also would be good to have top and bottom of photographed remote scrollable, with the most used buttons highlighted/enhanced. .Also Sony produce a touchpad mouse remote control to control smart TV Web browser. If this had this ability I would buy at twice the orice (not sure if IR or wifi)

Simply works. Nothing ground breaking just a quick and easy way to get at all the features of my Acer projector. Well done, a more polished and intuitive interface would make this a 5, but I'm a designer and a critic...

Great app for my tv's... Only one I found that did for my HTC M8 but just stopped working at all after about a half hour and just freezes I have to completely uninstall and shut down then my phone will only reboot in safe mode and messes everything up... Not happy...

I love this app. I use it for controlling everything in my house. Well I used to anyway. Ever since I updated my HTC m9 to Android 6.0 I can't use it. It won't even open. And I still only took off 1 star because before it was so useful. I am eagerly awaiting the day that this issue is resolved so I can fall in love with zappir all over again.

My friends kid decided to use my roku remote as a bath toy, this app was a lot cheaper than a new remote and one of the only apps I could find that worked with my roku. GUI could use a little work, and it's a little expensive but otherwise great app.
