Finding your devices is absolute nightmare, search function barely works, most of the time it found unmatched result or find nothing at all, matching IR signal definitely doesn't work. I haven't been able to match any of my device. DIY remote works so there's that.
Out of all the remote apps this one worked flawlessly for me allowing me to access settings and everything like the original remote would. The other apps are just trash and full of adds. This one legit.
The best universal remote for mobile. Plug and play with external IR transmitter. Easy to customize. I tried a good handful of others, this is the one you want.
I downloaded it it installed. I opened the app. It read my adapter. If then discovered my TV. I programmed for buttons. And it worked. I was able to enter menu options and set my TV up without the remote that I lost. This app is incredible. There have been so many many options that I've tried prior to this and none of them worked. This one did and it worked easily and fast. It is one of the most helpful apps.
Paying to remove ads doesn't work. I've paid 2x. Buttons and controls are not able to be resized or re oriented... only moved around. Would look better on my folding device in landscape if the buttons could be adjusted freely. Is this chinese spywear? I thought it was a free receiver / blaster for DIY but the app doesnt work when you click "Buy Now". Looking at the Amazon reviews for this shows the app sends and receives all of it's data (a lot of information in the background also) overseas.
Has a wide variety of models but poor support for small brands, luckily it worked on the tv I use the most, an old zenith crt. Buttons can't be rearranged, at all, therefore I could not do the thing that I bought the ir blaster for! I'm going to have to ask you to just find another app with a manual code program or search option if you will be using this for anything but the volume buttons.
Easy setup but the device should allow full rotation while using the app. My charge port is at the bottom so when I point the IRBlaster at the TV the app remains orientated as default but it is upside down. Fix this and get 5 stars. It would be really cool if I could plug this into my laptop and use it. It would also be really cool if I could program it to use with RC vehicles and drones. Other then that I would highly recommend this if you need an IR blaster.
Insinuating a no cost IR adapter.. nope. Not many phones have I owned had IR. This app had me thinking I would get an adapter by watching 4 videos. No. Wasted time.
Works well with my Hisense TV. It also test the volume beside on/off, which other app dont and fail at because then the volume doesnt work. Good job guys 👍
A great remote control for any device that you have. They have a huge catalog of codes ready to go, or it is possible to use your existing remote control and get the infrared frequencies and programmed them into this app. If your phone does not have an IR blaster you can order one on this site very easily at very little cost

It works with my vintage sorround system (Sony Str de 935}.. Off... On....Volume up. Volume down. That's it. I can't control anything else like bass or treble. I tried everything., If anyone has a suggestion. I'm listening.
1 star for fooling people... The app claims to provide free ir attacment compatible with mobile. But that is not true.. They will make you watch a lot of adds and then refuse to deliver.
Better than the original software that came with the device. My only cons - unable to control my haier portable AC. Still the best in the playstore
The down volume button controls the channel and the channel down button controls the volume. Other than that it is a an awesome app!
DO NOT INSTALL It's only an ad booster, they force you on watching ads to get free items then make surprise you with the real price. Total waste of time and space, DO NOT INSTALL
One of the best remote app i tried so far. I can try one by one for my tv and sat receiver and found the right setting for both. Had to use 2 different apps before, but with this app i can operate both with only this app so its better for me. The ads is less annoying too. Overall a good app.
If only there's reset button for AC.. my panasonic AC kept blinking on timer.. the app is useless, cant even switch it on when AC is on timer

After the latest updates to this app and Android 12, this isn't working anymore, even after developer mode and USB debugging and default USB configuration are on. Edit: Downgraded the app to version 3.7.8 and the Joyroom IR dongle works now.

Good app, but some TV(Vu), Voltas Ac etc are missing apart from that it is an excellent app.
Great app with truly universal application. I would work on automating the step by step programming process. As well as providing a back button her some way to navigate back and forth
This was once an absolutely wonderful TV remote - the only good one I ever found (still is a rare working one), and one that saved quite a bit of money on replacement remotes. Over the past two years or so, however, I've watched it be renamed (bought out?), adopt substantially more aggressive ads, and in general, rapidly deteriorate in quality. I suspect this is a causality of the decline of IR, but it is quite disappointing - two years ago, this was probably the most useful app on my phone.
Lots of codes, it found my devices easily. Remote works well with external ir blaster. When you try to customize the remote it does not save the changes and reverts back to the default, which is really annoying because it keeps the non functioning buttons on the screen. Code capture is a cool feature but there needs to be a "custom remote section" that let's you build one from scratch instead of using a preloaded template. And please please please add a feature to edit the names of the buttons.
The app is getting better, but the big problem is it will not properly save the remote configuration to either local or the cloud. Every time I exit the app I have to start over. This bug was supposed to be fixed in the 2.27.19 version, but it is still present. However, the developers are very responsive to email, that earns 4 stars.
Works fairly well as far as learning and reproducing codes. There were no ready-made codes for any of my equipment, even big brands like Sony and Panasonic. The layout is rigid, clunky, wastes tons of space, and doesn't allow you to rename buttons or add custom icons. Lacks very many common audio icons (like plain play and pause symbols, repeat and shuffle. Needs much more flexibility in layout and labelling. Incredibly annoying to add a button with common icon that is plain text in the layout.
