What happened to this app? Use to be very stable and the only security camera app I found that would run in the background so you could listen in and not have the video streaming. Now the cameras are a nightmare just to keep connected. Gradually fewer devices are able to connect to the camera until I have to reset the camera and reconnect it to the network. It use to be so good.
Not compatible with newer Android versions. I recently purchased a phone with Android Version 9 and upon launching this app got a notice that it was not compatible with my version of Android. I proceeded to the app anyway but the cameras are constantly "logging" and never online. Very disappointed. I emailed the developer and will update my review when/if I hear back.
The app isnt perfect but it works great. I got it so I could monitor my dogs and their puppies. I can use the microphone to talk to them especially if they are doing somthing bad. The audio is a few seconds off and the video quality tends to be dicey when you aren't connected to wifi but I haven't had too many problems with it.
Camera went from great to junk. Have had it for over 2 years and at first it was great but now. Hardly connects, constantly buffering when in stream. Recently it's been using my microphone in the background and my phones updating me about it even using mic when I haven't been in the app for days. I have had to turn the mic off because if it. This camera would have gotten a 5 star 1 yr ago but now if I could I'd give it a -5.
Worked well for over a year. I was able to access the cameras through the app when I was on wifi and when I was on my phones 4G from any where I was in the US . Then the 4G part just stopped working. One day it worked then the next day nothing on 4G. Could not even connect to the cameras. Still works over wifi but not 4G. Not my router or cable internet connection or my phones 4G, so it has to be either the cameras or the app. Called the Zebora company, but no one has contacted me back...
Purshased app about two years ago to monitor my ederly mom who has dementia. It's been working fine up until 2 weeks ago.....app does not work away from camera set up. I can no longer monitor my mom at work, and that was my main purpose for purchase. I've been emailing support for a week and the only thing they keep saying is their doing an up date and they'll get back to me when it's done. Had me submit my Camera ID and told me once they have that the camera should be good. Still not working!!
app crashes, sound stops without warning, picture freezes, sometimes it will skip a few seconds so the pic is not consistent and hard to see baby
Never works. I bought it to keep an eye on my dog when I'm at work. It only works if I'm home. But still when it works there's problems. Speaker makes a loud beeping noise if I turn it on. Just a waste of time and money.
Access through 4G android phone stopped working. Now when am out of the house I cant log into camera. Before it used to work fine

I had a zebora camera given to me and it wont connect to my phone or wifi im guessing they arent wireless
They need to update drops off line all the time
Worked well for a year. Now I can't log into camera outside of my wifi.
Used to work but they stopped updating it and now it sucks. Used to love this app, but now? No I would not waste my money on this.
Doesn't work remotely anymore
This camera and app have been an utter disappointment. I tried over 30 times to get this system to work but could only use the camera 4 times. And the usage was for a combined time of 15 minutes or less. My baby is now 8 months old and I had to buy another voice style monitor because this system never works.
EDIT: The camera only seems to show as offline. No matter how many times I re-connect completly, the camera never constantly stays connected and accessible. Can't recommend this when the software just doesn't work. Works as advertised. It's important for people to realize a live stream camera requires high speed Internet at home and decent Internet on the phone you are streaming from. With the settings set to the speed your setup can handle everything works. I've had no issues with my camera it works entirely as advertised.
Love everything about the quality of the camera, the intercom option, and the audio running in the background.....but the live video keeps freezing!! I'm using this as a baby monitor so I really need this option to be fixed. It's really annoying when I think my child is sleeping soundly but really she's tossing and turning awake but I wouldn't know this because the video has stopped!! I have strong wifi so that's not the issue. I'm hoping this will be taken care of when they update the app!
Not bad, the set up was pretty simple as long as you followed the directions to a T. Quality is not bad and I like that it's pretty light sensitive so it goes from day to night mode pretty quickly. Additionally, nice that you can select to "exit" the app or "run in the background" so I don't have to go through my settings to force close it. Haven't used all the features yet, but overall it's good. One suggestion is fix the directions when you move the camera. I move my finger down to move the camera down and vice versa, but then I move my finger left to move right (like when you scroll on the smart phone), if you're going to mimic a smart phone scrolling then do that with up and down too like a 360 camera.
The cam itself is horrible to set up but was able to get it with trial and error. Also got a notification this morning that the app was using my phone's microphone all throughout the night. The app required mic privileges to talk back through the camera...not spy on me when it wants. I don't trust this developer and will be reporting them.
Camera clarity is pretty good. But the app....not so much...I'm not getting motion detection alerts unless I'm literally in the app. I have to constantly change the motion detection sensory back to high. I'm using the 2.4 speed. It's constantly disconnecting from wifi. It's pointless to have the camera or app when I'm not getting alerts. And we have been having a lot of break ins in my area. Very disappointed.
Returning the defective camera and uninstalling the app.

The camera itself is OK. What sucks is I no longer get any "alarm images" to save to the SD card. It worked a few times the first day I had it set up, now it no longer saves any images.
My wife bought a few of these based on reviews. The real time video freezes often then then disconnects all together. Ther are 5 ft from our router. Not very happy with the quality.
You changed the alarm on/off to sound on/off. That's not good for monitoring. And sometimes the camera stop recording. It's not useful in this case. Why I'm using camera that doesn't notifing me when detect a motion!! And you need to add on off button on the camera.

It worked well once I got the two cameras to finally work. I used it for over a year with minimal issues, but then sometime last summer/fall it stopped working when I was away from home, and it's constantly resetting and reconnecting. About every 10-15 minutes I hear it click off and on.. it's really irritating. I didn't switch phones or get new wifi. Just the same complaint as most of the newer reviews below.
