THE SCIENCE BEHIND MINDFULNESS MEDITATION TRAINING

In an eight-week, laboratory-controlled experiment, Zenify-style mindfulness training was shown to increase gray matter concentration within the left hippocampus, temporo-parietal junction and the posterior cingulated cortex. Does a great job of reminding you to simply enjoy being and to exercise your awareness. It could be a little more dynamic, perhaps with its use of timers (when staring at the wall it should count up not down). In app purchases deliver adequate value.

This app helps keep me mindful. Simple as that. What else do you need to know? I had a small problem that I sent in a report for and I received a response in less that 24 hours. They adressed my problem and they put it into consideration for a future patch. It doesn't get much more responsive and friendly than that!

This app is quite spectacular. The advice it gives on what to do to be more aware is really thoughtful and usually things one hasn't done for long. so cudos for that! However, I have some criticism too: firstly, why can't it all be free? It's meant to spread good and happiness in the world, why can't that be for free? And have sponsors/donations? Secondly, I'm not too psyched about the music used in the listening exercises: it is fully synthesized. Why can't it be real orchestral music? But THANKS!!
