Firstly, pls take bad critiques constructively. I miss the old UI, the new map really just fell back behind the old one. It's over simplified, when I zoom in, I expect to see the name of the places around me as prior to this update, but no. The outlines are ugly and choppy, and I don't know why you have to put gray overlays on some places, doesn't look pretty. Plus, I miss the nonsense welcome texts on top when I opened the app. It was fun. Emojis too, the new ones remind me of early 00's, meh.
Me and my friends really enjoyed using this app, we loved seeing how much time we've spent together and making streaks for seeing each other in consecutive days. But now the update removed these, all I can do now is stalk them and show them where i've been. The interface looks worse now and it seems to run a little slow for me. The previous update would've had 5 stars, the only reason i keep using the app is because I am waiting for a fix.
The latest update is really bad. The colorful filter is awful, the theme color can't be chosen, and can't see where's my friend unless I look upon the map and search by myself. Don't like the world thing, why I have to share everything to public so I can use it, don't like it at all.
I have been using the app for a little over a year now and I've ALWAYS loved using it. It was so easy to use and easy to manage around that everyone around me had it. After this update, I am struggling to even find a friend's list. The new layout is very confusing for me around every corner. I love the ambition, but the sudden change in everything really made it hard to adapt, it's rough. Everyone around me agrees as well. Sadly, I will have to find a new app. The new UI is eh.. Had fun, Zenly.
I have been using this app for over a year and it was always easy to navigate and use different features.Plus the design was simple and functional. Right from the new update everything changed. The map is awful - the places where you have never been before are now covered with some "mist", which make map blurred and some details are indistinguishable. Moreover, it so hard to find even friend list, so complicated it became. New function with adding places is also working terribly. Return back pls
Terrible! Since it updated and the background is colored it is harder to view. The updates have just made it harder and more confusing to navigate through. My father uses this app and is so mad because its harder to find one person or to try and see where everyone is. Before you could tap one thing and you were there. Not so much now. Please bring back the previous version!! May be looking for a similar app that is easier to use if something doesn't change
I used to LOVE the app for YEARS. But the new version is THAT BAD. The user interface is not as good as it used to be, the map is not as detailed as it was, to select a friend and see where they at is not easy and simple anymore. It is so annoying. Please bring the old version back!
What's wrong with just making a straight forward app that just works. The latest version you have just released is all bling and zero content. You seem to have added a coloured mask over the map making it almost impossible to view, it doesn't update position the users position often enough. I'm off to try something else!
It would be great if we have stories feature to show our friends where we are at with photos and videos and I think would be cool to have Spotify integration to show our friends what we are listening to in real time and the last think I'd like to see in the app is dark and light mode option. The latest update removed the light mode completely so it would be great to have it as a optional.
I love the concept of this app, but I would like to add that the new ui update is BAD. I loved the original white minimal UI, this version should have never been implemented, the graphic quality and the user experience is just confusing and bad. Me and my friends had a discussion that the new version is very bad and it's just not me. I would like the old UI to be back please.
The new update is just a no no. The map is unclear because of the colored thingy and many good features from the previous deleted. The previous version was really great with it simple looking and good features. I regret to update the app and it's make me don't want to use this app anymore. Bring back the good looking old version please.
I loathe this app so much after the update; the new design is tacky and ugly and not just that but there's like this colour filter over the map that just makes places impossible to find and I have to zoom out of the map to search for the position of my friend, like why makes things so difficult? The original zenly is just perfect, and I'm just sorry to say this cause I know the staff probably put their efforts for this new zenly but please bring the original one back.
Idk who made the new design choices, but it's really poor. I preferred when the app wasn't so dark and covered in the hazy colours. Also the fire part turning into weak sparks/bubbles? Disappointing. Personally feel like it's a visual downgrade. The contrast with the black parts is really too harsh. And the world looks like it's covered in pee. Disgursting shet.
The app was great until last update, the new interface is not good. other times I used only zenly now I have to use Google maps because it's not clear enough on the zenly map. Others as I know also struggle to use it. I hope you will bring the previous version back, or at least put there like an old mode or something.
Not a fan of this hideous, urine-colored redesign. All these disgusting neon overlays makes trying to use the map very difficult. May be time to dump this crApp for something that isn't going to cause visual seizures every time I open it. Significant changes to form and function and no longer has the features that brought me here in the first place. It has lost its utility and just transformed into yet another social look-at-me app.
The New Update is very Bad, really worst... The old Zenly was Gold... With many useful Fetures to have a eye on my friends.. Please Bring Back Old version it was very easy to use and user friendly. And if you cant bring the old version back then add the old features which zenly use to have such as time spent with friends , Specially the Views Option ... I request you to add this feature once again...
I dont like the new looks of the maps, it makes me dizzy and really irritated with the yellow overlay. The design changed too, its doesn't look good at all. Please use the old design back or add toggle for the old design. Thanks.
I have been using this for more than 2 years now. But the new UI is very uncomfortable. The color choice isn't the best, it made it hard to process the map visually. I hope you will change to the old colors. And plus the pption to see where your friend is by clicking on their profile is gone now. And it is hard to find where they are.
