The app isn't feature complete and really makes it impossible to use as your main credit card. Features missing: One time payments, referral links, adding bank accounts not in plaid, view level requirements. On top of this, they'll actually call you directly and ask you for the answers to your security questions. Can't recommend at this time.
This is the first release for Android, so some patience is obviously necessary. To the developers- I just tried to apply, there seems to be a bug with the camera while taking a photo of my id. I can snap the first photo, and after that the functionality stops and it says to flip my card but doesn't open up a new camera view, it keeps the photo of the front face of my ID on the screen. After that I get an error that the app stopped. Hope this helps guys, I'll watch for the next release
Bait and switch company. I do not recommend anyone use this app or open an account with Zero. They cut off my card with no warning, made me jump through many hoops to transfer the money they had back to my other financial institution, and provide poor customer service. Avoid this app and company!
I like the cash back on every purchase option since some of my cards only offer cash back in specific categories like travel. I always have to think about which card to use to maximize my points and cash back but with with one i don't have to think about it.
Actual product is nothing like was advertised. The product is also extremely broken. The sign-up process said that I was approved just to find out that I wasn't actually and it was a different product than advertised - Zero Checking (useless) rather than Zero Card. The app is currently completely broken and there are ZERO menu items when opening the app. Absolute garbage! ZERO stars.
Really like the idea of Zero but the Android app is just not done yet. Can't refer people, can't check a purchase to see if it will go through, merchants are often wrong, can't get the card number from the app, notifications have a weird ugly icon, it didn't feel like an Android app, etc
The application process was quick and very compatible with my Galaxy Note 10+. Very seamless process and convenient!! Although I was not approved for the credit card, it still gave me the option to do the debit card. Im pleased with the process overall.

This is a great idea with a great team behind it. There have been some bugs but that is too be expected with a new app. However, I applaud the Zero team for the responsiveness to solving these problems!
I was pretty excited about this and even subscribed to be notified when the Android app came out. I unfortunately will not be using at this point, which is disappointing. My current credit cards earn between 1.5% (everyday use) and 5% cash back (rotating categories) guaranteed (paid off monthly of course). I'm not going to spend $25,000 on purchases and miss out on the extra .5% to 4% just to get to the 1.5% level. Same with further levels. None of my affluent friends will either.
Is ready for prime time now. Biometric sign in, can see real-time balance with logos and daily summary, really nice now. Had the app since day one availability for Android, was rough around the corners and had to wait for some things to work. As of today and after using it for a couple of months it's my daily driver. Tech support was very good too. Thanks Zero, cashed in my first reward towards balance!
App shows inaccurate account information. Charges and deposits show but the balance shown in the app does not update. I usually have to call Zero or use the iOS app to get the correct balance. Uninstalling app because showing incorrect info makes the app pointless
Application process was quick and easy. I'm definitely enjoying the app so far. The app is nice and simple. Turns out my direct deposit comes 2 days early which is nice. My only complaint is that more of a request for fingerprint recognition to log in.
Thank you for finally launching an Android app. Most all of the iPhone app functionality is there. Still would like fingerprint and be able to see my card number, but I'm sure those will come in future releases. I would love to see category spending in the app in the future. Check out how Chase does it in their app.
This app is beyond sketchy. I opened and account, and tried to transfer $180 from my checking account that I linked. I checked back later that day, and my whole account is frozen. They will unfreeze if I send documentation in the form of a statement for my checking account, but will not even say what my account is frozen. Why would they need all my info, when Plaid (or whatever other app) already verified my linked account, and more so why can't they tell me why they froze my account?
I really like the debit- credit experience. Although, the app did crash while I was applying, the customer service was very helpful in assiting me with the issue.
The approval process was pretty much a joke. Sent me through all kinds of hoops just to say I didn't meet a minimum qualification. If I originally didn't meet a minimum, why send me through all that kind of thing? Their customer service through it all was not good either. I was approved to get the checking account part of it, but after all that, I'm noping out of that part.
I just wanted to say thank you for finally making a card where you can get points without having to get yourself into debt. I was always afraid to use credit cards because its so easy to accumulate debt. I felt like I was missing out on rewards. Now my fear is gone and I can finally get all of the rewards with none of the debt. Thank you so much!
HELP!!!! I closed my Level account. Toll free number no longer works and you never sent the ACH back to the State of CO for remittance. I have wire transfer number and will get this traces since no response from customer support anymore. I'm so sad why couldn't this have gone back instead of be stolen like this🤬
I am not the best at keeping track of my spedning when I use a credit card and have gotten myself into some debt. Thats why I love the Zero Card so much. No debt becase I get points usuing it like a debit card! Now I don't feel guilty for missing out on bonus points by not usuing my credit cards. Win, win for me!
Garbage. Can't even support fingerprint login, no option to even apply for the only feature that differentiates this "banking" program from every other, better online bank. I can already tell by how long it took to come out with the Android app that their focus will be on the iPhone user and us Android users are scum beneath their dev feet... If you can't add basic features to this app and make it work right MONTHS after launch, you're not worth my time to even use.
The app is now on Android and there's no advertising of it!? Not even an email informing about it, at least I didn't get one. I've been quite some time and nothing. I happen to check out curiosity and well, it is running. If you want to build a bigger and better service for the people, you have to communicate with the people. Frankly, I hope you succeed, just remember that you're in the business of providing services for the customer which in turn will determine your success.
Classic bait and switch. Unless you are a high income earner with excellent credit they will reject you and offer a debit card instead. ZORO card with the confusingly similar name doesn't have all the cash back rewards but it does let low income people and non citizens sign up!
For incorrect account balance on Android, only if she correct amount on iPhone. Can't see card info in Android but can see it on iPhone. Freezes and shut down often on Android but not on iPhone.
I am an American citizen living abroad in Thailand. I can provide US Gov ID and proof of my foreign address, unfortunately the App does not allow input of a foreign address. This unfortunately excludes all Americans living abroad needlessly, as no such American law demanding such exclusion exists.
This app had a few issues at first, but the team has definitely put in the effort to constantly make new improvements. It is very close to being perfect!
Love the concept of Zero Card, but the andoid app needs a few minor improvements. Once those are fixed, it'll be perfect!
My screen has been stuck on the verification loading screen for 2 whole days. Its like it froze in app. I haven't even gotten into the app fully.
So far, horrible. Can't reset password because I don't have that phone, called got no help with that. No support on virtual wallets. Had such high expectations.
Editing to respond back to the Zero team: it wasn't a wire transfer or ACH transfer. I used Xoom, an app which sends money straight to a debit card using the card number, usually within minutes. The issue wasn't the type of transfer, it was/is a bug within the app that has been causing issues for awhile now. I finally was able to see the money in my account but I still don't know how to fix missing transactions or balance discrepancies when using someone else's phone.
