Works as advertised. Has a bit of a hiccup when switching from wifi to mobile data. Up to 5 minutes. Need to take down the VPN and switch data then restart to avoid long delay
Doesn't work: shows I'm connected, however I cannot access my windows pc by hostname or by ip. The windows and Linux apps work flawlessly, but the android one does not work at all.
No longer working with android 11. Works fine on my spare android 6 device. On android 11 it does not ask to create a VPN even though the app says online and has been authorised via the web.
This app is very good for ppsspp. Now I can play with my friend anywhere, anytime.. Very useful ๐
this is literally the worst THE VPN CRASHES EVERY 20 SECONDS I USE THE VPN this is honestly the worst ever app in the playstore. i have a 6gb ram and a great storage still this vpn is crashing like crazy
The interface is bit ascetic, but works as advertised.
Does not appear to work on Android 11 (tried pixelos and coloros). Works well on Android 6 ๐
It is very good. It reminds me of the days when I used to use Hamachi. The app would be perfect, if it had the option to show a list of the devices that are in the same network, so I don't need to memorise their IPs. Having to go to a browser to log in, to see the devices in the network is too cumbersome. ZeroTier's technology to bypass NAT firewalls is brilliant. Thank you for making this available for free for 100 devices. It is very useful
I think this app is amazing! It helps me play games with my friends without needing to be in the same place. Its pretty easy to host and set up a server and before today I never had any problems. Well I tried hosting a Terraria server so that my friends can join but for some reason when I turned on the network on my other device (to test the server), it simply stopped. Like it exited the app and the network turns off. I have tried reinstalling the app and resetting my device. Please help!
The service itself is fantastic. I no longer have to expose my server' rdp port to the internet and its much easier than setting up a traditional vpn server. The Android App itself is OK. It works but it doesn't feel as stable as the windows counterpart. Its also been a while since the last update. Overall great service though. Cheers!
Android version has been stuck in "Requesting Configuration" for a while now. I'm not seeing the new Android client in ZeroTier Central. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. This issue was posted in Git-Hub and closed a year ago without any solution offered. I'm using the same network I use with my Windows PC. The Windows version is awesome and no-hassle to set up. The Android version needs work though.
Works well across multiple operating systems and hardware types.
Keeps shutting off and problems to connecting A LOT
The user interface is pretty ugly and buggy. Has crashed a few times. It has no notification panel toggle button options like WireGuard or other VPN apps. Setup is simple, performance is fast. Just needs some polish on the UI. At least material design standards.
Excellent for working around the issue with CGNAT imposed by some mobile broadband providers to allow you to connect to home PCs & services (where Port Forwarding can't be used). However, would benefit by adding a quick on/off widget button or implementing 'intents' to allow automation apps such as Tasker & MacroDroid to switch the ZeroTier VPN on/off based on specific events (eg. on leaving home)
Works great and lets me play with my friends on a local. The only problem i had with it was that after few hours of playing on it, (8-10 hours total) It just stopped working for seemingly no reason. If i could get a response and get it to work again i will gladly give this a 5 star
I frequently use this on my unrooted phone. I used to install linux deploy and install hamachi to interconnect my devices for gamestreaming/remote desktop etc. This makes it much easier and less resource hungry. Yet on my smart TV and my brand new Samsung tab A there's no way to write the network name to connect to my VPN. I have not tried another software keyboard, and I am willing to try it. Contact me if you want to fix this issue that renders this app useless. thank you!
First, I like this app. My friends use this app to runs a server and it's really work! Second, I don't like how I always disconnected when playing in the server.. This app always off the network automatically and it's really annoying me so much.. If you can do anything to fix this I would appreciate it! Thank you for making this app l like it so much..
Pretty useful, working well, solved my problem getting through a NAT network. But the app interface can be nicer. Also, sometimes there's bugs where you need to restart the app to make it run properly. Otherwise, it's perfect.
Works wonderfully if only it would switch on automatically after powering on the phone. Right now it tries to start but fails because of missing network connectivity which of course is not there during the boot process but a few seconds afterwards.
I'm using it with Hassio. Was working great, but now can't access my network from the phone. It says it's connected and everything looks OK from the admin panel, but there is no connection on the phone. I've tried everything and checked all logs and there are no errors.
The app is fantastic, I can finally play Terraria with my friends during quarantine since we are not allowed to be together because of this dang pandemic. My only issue about the app is the app keeps disconnecting everytime I open a server in Terraria, after I and host again, it does the same thing after a dew minutes. This only happens in my tablet and if by chance you know how to fix this, then please tell me how, it would really help me out, thanks.
I'm running this on Android 10 on my Samsung S9+ to connect back to a series of different devices I have configured within ZeroTier. Just works, and works really well. Simple but effective UI makes connecting when necessary really easy.
Great service. Allows me to network and have nodes all around the world that I can use as gateways, sort of like a vpn. However, and that's why I'm only giving it 4 stars in stead if 5, It drains the battery really quickly. So, only use it with an external battery bank or on charger. Some optimization seems required.
Simplicity and ease of use are the best features of the app. I wish there would be also some practical ones such as autostart on boot, autoreconnect and androidTV support.
