I've tried just about every finance management app and this is by far the best. Even for a single person it works well, but the joint feature is great for couples or anybody with a joint living situation. The layout is more intuitive than acorn, and the features packed into this app blow others out of the water. I can say with confidence this app has actually helped me understand my finances and make lasting changes where needed.

Nice UI & like the information architecture of the app. Glad that my partner and i can have a complete picture of our shared finances. But, it takes longer for any changes to reflect on here than on mint. Task section (in overview tab) does not work at all. When you tap, it doesn't show the pending task or transactions you need to review. Support is utterly unreachable. I've tried to contact multiple times, and not even a confirmation to my email is sent. Please be better.

Our main banks accounts keeps being deconnected. The PLAID double verification system has major bugs. I had to remove my main account and re-add it. A simple reconnetion doesn't work. Doesn't sync! After 1 week, it gets deconnected! My partner is having issues with the account sync and ends up manually entering her expenses from her main account. Frustrating. And also I can't use the app on my cell. Can't log in. If it worked properly, it's great for couples!

Pros: small company, (I'm pretty sure) they don't sell your data, for couples too! Cons: some UI scaling issues w/text and elements being weird sizes. I wasn't able to add a bank account via the mobile app if they had to call me for a one time code. Was able to add the account via the website just fine though

Love this app! Nice, intuitive, interface. Very timely tech support. Fixed a minor bug while I was on a chat session with them. Also were very attentive to suggested enhancements. I look forward to using this app and seeing it improve. A couple weeks later and this app and customer service people continue to impress. One of my credit cards would not connect. they elevated the issue and got it resolved in just a few days.

It's ok. A bit annoying tho. Clicking paid on a bill doesn't automatically create a transaction or alter your budget. You have to add a seperate transaction. I know that section is meant as a reminder, but having to 'pay' something in two different areas is annoying. There's also no way to set up reoccurring transactions, so even if your bank account auto pays something, you have to add it in the app each time. Also, good luck if you make a typo when making a category. Can't delete any.

I really wanted to like this app. At first, it works great. When you start filling in your bills, it consistently changes the amount, or states that it has been paid when it has not. Also if you add notes to a transaction when it's pending, the notes disappear once it has gone through. As someone who is using the app to keep track of bills it is very frustrating to have them change every single time I login. I love all the features but the frustration may not be worth it.

My abbreviated review. I really want to like this platform. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. The good. The feature that makes the app is the ability to easily flip an expense from shared to mine or my wife's. Splitting is nice but this function is better. The bad. Transactions aren't compact enough, too much negative space in the UI. Transaction loading is too clunky, too few loaded. I can't change/normalize vendor names. It's nice the system does it for you, but it doesn't do it well.

I really, really wanted to love this app. My husband and I have been using it for a few months, and it has all the features I wanted. Sadly, it has never quite worked right. There have been too many bugs to count, but the main issue has been the slow synch with the linked bank accounts. It sometimes took several days for account balances update and transactions to show up. Then my budgets disappeared (twice it happened now), and now the app won't open at all after attempting to reinstall.

As a finance tracker this is a great app overall. It is easy to navigate and has a clean feel to it. One thing I'd really like to see is the ability to scan and attach receipts to individual transactions. Also things like Netflix show up under bills, but they're linked to my credit card. This is a bit frustrating because it's not a bill I manually pay. Overall though, there's lots of potential in this app!

We have a few different accounts and services to manage. Being able to pull into one place and communicate about short term / long term planning for financial goals and strategy has been awesome. I found the setup to be exceptionally easy and the interface is very approachable and simple to learn. Another thing I really like is being able to switch easily between desktop and app experiences. Overall high quality experience for us - thanks again for designing such a great tool.

Update: My bank still will not sync; however, Zeta contacted me quickly and are working on it. I also was able to find the envelope icon in the bottom right corner on browser to request assistance (prior review said I couldn't find it--I was at that time on my desktop, it is easier to find in the app!). My bank will not sync--is there a known issue with Alliant Credit Union? I keep trying to reconnect, over 2 days now, but not a single transaction has loaded. I also could not find any way to contact Zeta for support before posting this review, which feels really silly. There should be an in-app method of contact for help, did I miss something?

Tried the app in recommendation from Real Simple article. Couldn't get it set up. Would not save info. Required security code to finish bank set up but if you minimize the app to go get the texted code and come back to the app then it no longer is on the same screen. Tried linking bank accounts multiple times. Couldn't get it set up. Too glitchy.

I had been trying a few different apps so that I'm able to accurately budget given that I split many transactions, and even a credit card with my partner. This is the first app (including Mint, Clarity, etc.) that actually allowed me to do this joint budgeting in an effective way. The app could have a more streamlined or simplified interface, but overall very happy with the site and app and will continue using. Thanks Zeta!

Edit 2: I got it working again after clearing my storage, thanks for the help Zeta team. Edit: The app doesn't work anymore. Just crashes when I try to open it. Deleted and re-installed but still borked. This is a good app. I also wealthfront and sofi for tracking my finances. This is the only app that was able to link all of my accounts (the other apps have a hard time with Discover) and it seems to update them faster.

Great alternative to Mint, although the app has some UI issues. Trying to change a category on a transaction is a guessing game of where on the tag responds to a click, if I hit the back button a few many times it takes me to a login screen? But if I exit the app and open it again I'm still logged in. Tapping paid on a bill doesn't link it to a transaction. Review transactions are a blank page but there's always one notification about it. Edit: also can't log in with new device !

I have been using several budget apps for couples and for single too, but there's just always something missing until I stumbled upon Zeta. What I have found that other apps lacking are these things 1. Calculating split transactions automatically based on how you set it up. 2. Budget, Cash Flow, Transactions can be sorted out with All, Personal, and Shared account. These helped me a lot! 3. Bills are outlined/summarized by date aside from the calendar view. 4. Outstanding customer support.

I really do love this app, and find very useful for my wife and I BUT... I can't connect my Capital One credit card. I was told to manually add my transactions, and that is VERY annoying considering it is one of my primary credit cards. They should just ditch Plaid (the company that collects the financial transactions for Zeta) for another company, or pressure them to comply with Capital One's standards. Hopefully with Visa buying Plaid, things will change. Until then, 3 stars it is.

Great concept and usability. Love the idea of splitting, managing and sharing finance/banking info with a partner. I haven't seen this in any other app. This app would be A LOT better if it had a better UI, better auto categorization, better drill down/click functions, and if it wasn't SOOOO laggy!!! Everything seems delayed when I make changes or doing different actions.

This would be a great app if it was able to maintain connections with the bank accounts. Unfortunately almost twice a week I find myself having to constantly re-setup my connections. I have many different banking providers and credit card providers so it's not the banks fault, nor is it Plaids fault as I've used them for other apps as well. It's the apps fault. This does make the app unusable as no one has time to constantly do this, so I have to go back to using Mint.

This app has made it easier to track our shared expenses. We have several accounts and it was nice to be able to sync them up and split expenses as they come in. The user interface is clean and straight-forward. They have also been very responsive. It would be great to be able to send money via PayPal or from a checking account in the app.

So far so good. The app has a clean UI and contains most, if not all, the features that the website has. Zeta is specifically designed with couples in mind, it includes features such as splitting expenses and account categories to deal with shared and individual accounts effectively. It is in beta, so there are some minor bugs here and there. The staff has been very responsive in fixing anything I've pointed out.

This app is good, but it would be better if it allowed for more options for payment recurring (I need biweekly options). Also, there seems to be a glitch when changing dates on bills. it won't save unless you alter the bill amount.

Great when it works. It hasn't let me login on my phone in weeks. It freezes every time. I have uninstalled, restarted the phone, and reinstalled but still freezes. I have contacted support several times and they just keep disappearing.

So disappointed with this app. It is not easy to use, the load time is horrendous, sometimes it wouldn't load the page you want at all. Such potential but the UX is garbage and the UI needs lots of improvement. Not intuitive enough.

This app has too many bugs. I tried to add new categories and they never show up in the list. The app is displaying some of my transactions from my linked bank account two times in a row when it only occurred once. I guess I'm back to the app store to find an app that actually works.

Was working great but suddenly all I get is a white screen while opening. Have a Galaxy note 8. Contacted Zeta but nothing the said worked. Then just said well it works on our phones of the same model. Sadly nothing I do fixes it, so now i have to log in to the website on my phone browser. But getting to Zeta log in is also a hassle. Its still the budget app we use. But have been having a lot of issues.

Was working great for the past year, then in the last week I can no longer add transactions due to the app closing my keyboard as soon as I click the vendor box. Ive deleted and redownloaded the app, and made attempts to contact zeta through thrir support page (havent heard back in days) and on their online chat (the bot is useless for this issue) I like the program but its currently unusable. Zeta team, if you reading this please help me
