It is a little buggy. The "complete trade" and "save cart" functions seem to fail at random which is annoying. But it is an easy way to sell stuff and works ok other than that!

I scanned so many books, well I tried to scan many books, it rejected all but one and that one book they offered .39¢ so I think this is a really good idea but it needs some work.

The recent "update" erased all of my data- I lost every single book I had saved in my buyback cart. Before that update I would have given a 5 star rating to both the company as well as the app.

The scanner doesn't always read the bard code, but if you persist, it does 90% of the time. I like that we can remove books if we don't like the price or reconsider selling something. Occasionally, the scanner will read a barcode twice as you move the camera around. However, the system will alert you at the final stage if there are duplicates in the basket.

I am able to log in on the app, but not on the desktop version. My password was changed in the app but not on the desktop, and I have been blocked from logging in because of too many password attempts. Please sync passwords between the app and the desktop version. Also, the email you send out to reset passwords has a dead link! Clicking on "reset password" does nothing. Please fix this!

I give this app 4 stars due to the ease of use though it lacks in completion of the it's task. I had over 100 (college text, novels, and children's) books and scanned each one with this app. Some barcodes were easily detected, others needed to be manually inputted, which is understandable. Out of 100 books, the company offered to buy 21 items (that's fine). However, when I completed the trade an error occurred stating that one had already been traded. 20 were bought, I made $13.10.

Cool idea, but not that great. So if you have like 100 books to sell this is a great idea, but if you have 10-12 books that are just taling up space, donate them instead. They pay pennies for each title, even if it is very popular at the moment and in amazing shape. I scanned a few books and you get like $0.50 (or less) for most books. You need $15 minimum to ship to them so it takes a lot of books to get to a point where you can actually ship to them and get paid.

Downloaded and the scanner works great. Created the account and went to complete my order and suddenly I "need to check my connection" despite every other connected device working just fine and other apps on my phone working fine. Tried three times to get the same message. Obviously they don't want to actually follow through with the buyback.

Once they received the books, it took no time to be paid out. Fast and simple

I have used this mobile app a couple times, went smoothly. Today and for past week the trade will not complete. I just get a message that says " oops, something went wrong," and a button to close the message. I have backed out and started over to no avail. I sent email to the contact us link and have not heard back.

Book ISBN scanner works great and is an awesome feature and app is pretty straight forward and easy to use. Only reason i only give 3 stars is the amount of books that are not being "accepted at this time", I understand that you cant take everything but i had 5 moving boxes full of books(about 300-350 books/textbooks) and only 40 or just over 10% were accepted.

Terrible. Said my payment was on the way through PayPal days ago and still nothing. I tried reaching them through their customer service email and my email was rejected. Was told it was spam. I sent one order for $13 and some change and I know the three books that was in good condition and it was rejected and I know they're going to keep it and sell it. Then my other order that I had sent in was for $15.41 I was told that payment was on the way and still have not received anything. DON'T USE !!!

I was trying to sell some books to free up some space on my shelves. I heard about this app via a YouTube video and was pretty excited to give it a try. I met the minimum amount required and when I tried to complete the trade, when I created a BRAND NEW ACCOUNT, it removed half the books I'd added stating I'd previously traded them before. I spent over 3 hours sorting books for absolutely no reason. Don't bother with this. Save your sanity.

Ziffit accepted more of our textbooks than other buyers and the overall amount paid was good. The app scanned almost all the bar codes. Very easy end-to-end. A little slow on processing the books and making payment, but no issues and no changes from initial quote. We'll use them again.

NOTE: They do NOT return any books that don't meet their "acceptance criteria". Unlike other book-buying apps that will send rejected items back for a fee, Ziffit is keeping over fifteen dollars' worth of my books and I have no way to get them back or even see exactly why they were rejected. This policy is NOT mentioned in the FAQs under "What happens if the items I've sent in aren't of good enough condition", only buried in the terms. If I'd known this I would've used a different app. UPDATE: I contacted the email suggested below and got a reply just restating the terms and saying there was nothing they could do.

At first, there were no issues using the mobile app for Ziffit. Then there were issues so I started using the desktop version and had much better luck for awhile. Now, neither the mobile app nor the web site will accept many books at all. When they do, they only hold it until a new one is accepted then they will remove the first book as if it wasn't even there, and won't take accept it back again. Very disappointing.

Thieves. I sold them a textbook I had bought for $200. They claimed they would send me $70 for the book. I shipped the book and then got an email that my book didn't pass inspection and that they would not be returning my book, but rather "recycle" it according to their terms and conditions. They are thieves. Don't use this app.

Doesnt Work. The app scaned the book just fine but each and every time it declined an offer to buy but when i put in the ISBN of those very same book on their website, they made offers on about half of them. ADDITIONALLY, THE MOST I WAS OFFERED WAS .60 CENTS AND I HAD NUMEROUS GENRES, AUTHORS, hard covers, first editions, a mix of everything and not one fetched an amount worth putting them in a box to ship out.

The process for turning in books was great. I had a lot of trouble scanning barcodes, though. I couldn't figure out the right trick. Tried brighter lighting and stabilizing my phone but the app was very reluctant to read a code.

The app. Is good to have. The app pays like it says!! The scanner actually works within the app to scans your books unlike the other apps and it pays little bit better than others for your books. How ever it's slow to check up your books so you can get paid. It understandable for the delay because the covin-19..

This app is a total rip-off, I've send five boxes with over 150 books in total to this company. Once my items were sent I attempt to track them the app gives no tracking options it's been 10 days or more and the app continuously says my items have not been received. Mind you I've seen items to other companies well after ziffit and have already been received and paid for them. It's a total rip-off total scam their business line doesn't even work.

I scanned over 40 books and I was offered $2.07 for 3 of those books. I have over 3000 books to get rid of but if only 7% of the books I have can be sold it's not worth the time. I feel like I'm getting lowballed on the prices too. If I took the time to find the 200 or so books that would be accepted I will have wasted a lot of valuable time.

Great premise. App could be a little more forthcoming when it comes to tracking where orders are at in the process. My order of 5 books took 2-3 weeks to process but I can honestly say I was happy with the end result as I had originally thought it may have been a scam.

Company is trash. Sent them 40 books quoted over 20 bucks. Then they only send out 10 dollars. All the high value items said "expired" with no explanation. Very suspicious. They do not give you an option to get your books back either. DO NOT TRADE OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They will waste your time. Shysters. Look elsewhere. Update 3/18/2021 Seems they are reevaluating the books you send. The initial quote you get is bogus. Very sketchy since your payout can change drastically anytime.

I was excited to find this app thinking, great I'll finally have a reliable way to be rid of my unwanted books. However I was extremely discouraged when only one of my fifty were accepted and I'd only get $.31 for it. So it's obviously not for me.

I sent in my books. Tracking clearly shows them delivered. And yet two weeks after receiving them they told me my buyback is expired. So they have my books and I have no money. It takes them forever to respond to emails. A scam! I am reporting them

Instead of sending back books that don't pass "quality inspection", they throw them away! They threw away my highest priced books, one was a whole trilogy! I'm pretty sure this is just a scam

The scanner was very quick and efficient. I still have to take my boxes to fedex were they say they'll handle it from there.With no further instructions so idk how but will see if they pick them up from there?? I'm shipping 79books with a total estimate at $134.94. Excited to see if they are everything I hope and it goes smoothly

Only tells you name of book when it's accepted. Rejects don't show name so you're not sure if it registered correctly or not. Especially on those entered manually.

Please don't sell your books to these people. I sent two orders. On one of them they rejected one book and didn't tell me why and the other order they said one of my book price quote expired! What ! They don't honor the quote they give before you ship your books. I will never be sending anymore books! Please don't waste your time with this company.
