Totally worthless. Could not even initialize the app. The opening screen says it all: "The app does not work with new versions of Android phones" and hasn't been updated for almost a year and a half. Worthless and uninstalled.
Light works great with the remote but I received this message when I tried to download the app " this app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly" my phone is 2 years old so I don't know how old app is but what's the point of selling a Wi-Fi bulb if they don't work with the Amazon Alexa as it states on the box? I'll be returning this and I'm disappointed
No information on box for wifi plug. Assumed it was same as other WiFi plugs. Would not connect, as need to buy additional gateway @ € 32 to connect it. Useless. Returning with serious complaint. Do not buy. Rubbish! Information on Box needs to warn that Zigbee device needs to be used with Zigbee Gateway, which is additional cost.
Can't even get past the "checking" phase (which is the 1st thing after opening the app). Can't update the app. WASTE OF TIME.
I would rate a 0. This does not work with Alexa. Bought the ecosmart light bulb from home depot. On the box it says to download the zigbee app. After researching these light bulbs need a zigbee HUB which you must buy, then link the light to. Too much work, so this will go back and I'll stick to the Phillip's Wiz Smart light. This app is junk. Never opened and never connected. Dont waste your time with this!
if I could give it a zero Stars I would. like one of the other reviews $45 in smart light bulbs and they are nothing more than a regular bulb. come on. get it right. or take them off of the shelf. can you actually control them with your phone or are you guys making a quick million before everyone realizes it.
Complete waste of time. App wouldn't load. I ended up deleting it and uninstalling the product to return.
Doesn't connect to wifi. Won't do anything apart from try to connect and fail.

It doesn't even try to do anything. It will not connect to the device or network. As soon as the app starts, all it does is pop up a screen that states "Cannot connect." No matter how many times you hit "retry" it is the same result. $54 dimmable plug-in is not usable without the app, therefore it is nothing more than a paperweight. For shame General Electric and ZigBee, for shame.
