Zilch Dice Game
RULES:
1. Roll the dice
You start your turn by rolling all six dice.
2. Scoring dice? Take some points.
If you rolled some scoring dice then you need to take some of those points before you can roll again. See what scoring dice are below.
3. No scoring dice? You zilched.
This means that all the points you took so far are wiped out. You bank no points and it's the end of your turn. If this is your third zilch in a row then you lose 500 points.
4. Scored 300 or more? Bank the points.
Once you have taken at least 300 points you can choose to bank them or keep on rolling the dice. If you bank the points then they are added to your score and your turn is over. If you decide to carry on rolling then you could roll more scoring dice but you could zilch out.
5. Re-roll the remaining dice
You can re-roll any dice that you didn't score with. Once you have scored points from all six dice you get a free roll!

How can a game be easy or hard and still be random? Answer: It can't. Hard mode cheats all the time. Other than that, I like playing it but probably will stop if it gets too cheaty. Well, it did. I uninstalled it and now it won't reinstall, it tries to load but after 10 minutes it is still trying.
I like the game. Not many achievements to unlock, unlike a version I found on my computer. The easy AI difficulty is easy but the hard AI difficulty doesn't make the AI more tactical. It just makes it easier for the AI to get a high score and harder for you. This makes it annoying rather than feel the AI is being more tactical in its moves.
Ironically, the game has an exit, but you can't get there from the playing board! Downgraded my original rating because zilches are far too frequent. For a proper game, each dice must be individually random. It's actually getting quite annoying. Since they are obviously never going to make the dice realistic, I will uninstall the game.
I loved playing this game years ago. I hoped I could have the same experience playing this game as I did before. I was quite surprised with the dice rolls. Sometimes they were too good to be true, sometimes not. Zilches also occured more frequently than expected. Also, I noticed a small inconsistency. "Any three pairs" is worth 1500 points. It says that correctly in the rules section, but when playing the actual game, it is only valued at 1000 points. Hoping you could fix that later on.
This quite good app, nice interface, 2 AI difficulty levels. My only complaint is that the AI sometimes banks points on the last turn rather than rolling out
I love the game but the number of zilches you get are very unrealistic. It needs to be fixed and it'll be the perfect game

Your app seems to not understand what mute is. I'm not using the volume slider to mute the game.
Just one request. Can u please give us an update where I can rotate my phone and not have the game be upside down refusing to turn? Please and thank you

Really nice visuals, haven't had a good look to see if settings has options for different variations, but not the rules I grew up playing with, at least not how it plays when you go straight into a game, will look to see if it has variations. Few minutes later, just had a look, and no other variations, pity.
