Zing StikBot Studio

I was going to complain about the app not having a green screen mode but then I found it! Tap the settings icon on the lower left, then tap the little green square. Tap the top switch that appears in the dialog box (it just says "off" until you tap it, then it says "green screen"). Then you can select a background from your camera roll. Lighting has to be white or green screen won't work! All other features work as they should and my kids love it.

The app is good and I love the little stikbot figures but it is a bit frustrating that the app has no zoom in/out function as the figures can sometimes look bigger than the backgrounds, which is silly. Also, there doesn't appear to be a way to add new footage to your movie at a later date. This is frustrating as you then have to shoot all of your frames in one go, which is very time consuming and doesn't allow much room for error.

used to be awesome. now when i take a frame the ghost image gets rotated 90 degrees and zoomed in. loved the feature, but it's now useless/really distracting to use pity, as in every other regard this is an outstanding app. *upped rating as I've appreciated the quick and helpful response from the developers - they're still working on the problem, so I can't really give full rating, but it's nice to know they're working to fix it!

Come on, Zing! For a month or so this app hasn't worked for creating a video or taking pictures. I can download the app, open it, view my gallery of projects I did in September and October, maybe the beginning of November, view all the help videos, BUT when I tap to create a new video or take a new picture, the app goes there for a second or two and then returns to the main/home screen. Every time. It's so frustrating- especially with all the new Stikbots that were received for Christmas...

The only reason I am rating this three stars, is because whenever I try to open the camera to start, it says "Error configuring camera." I have tried multiple times to open it, but it doesn't work. Stikbot Studios used to be my number one stop motion animation app, but now I can't even start. Also, (this doesn't have to do anything with my rating.) for some reason, one of my animations won't play. I have never actually seen that stop motion. I hope you might be able to fix these things.

The app flips and zooms the camera image. I can shoot from further away but then the image is blurred. I can't find any way to stop the app from rotating every single image 90 degrees so none of the videos are any good to watch. We were really excited to start using it with the stikbot Dino.

works perfectly except for when i but down the green blocks you can see the borderline and the back screen falls back so you can see through the attachment holes. Took me a while to figure out how to turn ON the green screen as there were no instructions on how... otherwise app is great and easy to use.

Love it! I'm doing a stop motion project and using this app with the green screen toy set has made my job sooooo much more easier once I learned how to set the background to the green screen. My only complaint is the movie making part though works fine on the phone but when you transfer it to a pc for some reason the files become corrupted, fix this and this would be the perfect software for stop motion project!

This app is so simple and it is the best for any age stop motion animators. I would recommend just using this app on one device because it can get really glitchy when exporting from a device to another device. I have used this app since December 26th, 2020 when my good friend recommended this app to use. Ever since I've been making epic stop motion films.

Extremely buggy and unstable, crashes when watching movies. I can only add audio and sound effects to my first movie, and thereafter those options are greyed out. It is impossible to save movies without having added audio, so I can't save any movies that I make.

Crashing Alot. I spent about an hour and a half just making 1 animation just to find out whenever I hit Save or play it crashes. I thought it was my phone but when I read the reviews, I was happy to see that I am not the only person having this issue. Please fix this bug, I spent a long time and I would like to see my animation work. I would give a 5 star but, this issue makes me want to throw my phone. Thank you

i actually had two problems about this game. the first one is that for some reason the screen was upside-down (even when i flipped the screen, it didn't work). and the second one is that the lighting was very bad, like my room light was off( even though my light was on and my tablet lighting was to the max). i have a stickbot studio set and i am very disappointed to not be able to use the stupid app!😡😡😡😡

doesn't work So I've made a stop motion film and so I was trying to put sounds that are in the app but,when I put them in the film the sound played to early.Also I tried to edit the sound but it keeps cuting the sound to much.And there was a lot more sounds but now there's very little.Besides that it's a good app,and developers please fix this thank you.

it worked fine at first but after the first day of having it I took my device into another room to make a stop motion video and the camera started playing up and the final video and onion skin were a zoomed out version of what I was doing, I tried re installing and changing the settings but nothing fixed it, if this was fixed I would give it 5 stars

I dont normally review apps, but this app is awful. No green screen option like it states. Every photo taken in landscape orientation, (which is the only way they let you view it anyway) is auto rotated and cropped to fit a portrait style, and the image looks. awful... It definitely does not do ANY of what it advertises.

After 2-4 shots my phone (Google Pixel 2) freezes then shuts off completely, this has happened 3 times in a row. Seems like the app has been buggy for a few months based on other reviews. Not what I expected from an app for a popular toy (maybe for some random low budget game app).

It worked... but it counts seconds with a : instead of a . so it loocks like minutes instead of seconds, the green screen is a lie and even if i try to update, my device "isn't compatilbe with this version". One more thing, the music just cuts off for no reason. When you test it you can hear a full version you can't hear because it cuts off. When I tried to extend it by adding more, it wasn't able to load my video, it would just keep crashing. 1/10

Help! This app has been brilliant - until now... I've recorded an animation (20") but every time I try to play it the app just goes back to the homepage, and when I try to save it, the app crashes completely and the 'the app keeps stopping' message comes up... help.

This app I like and is fun to use but there are problems.the audio doesn't work well and you can't seem to take the sound effect off that you've put in.also I've had the same problem as other people in the reviews.once I start the app it asks me to get the 2.0 version of it and when I go into google play it says my motorola isn't compatible with the app so I can't get it.everything else on it seems to be ok though.

It works really well and its it's simple to use. It's not great for audio or affects. I use it for my YouTube channel when I animate. The app has stopped working sometimes but It automatically saves somehow. In my opinion.

The app is really bad. Green or blue screen doesn't work properly, and placing audio is terrible. I add a sound effect at the frame I want, but it plays way to early. Also, please make the stikbot studio 2.0 compatible on my phone again. It works much better than this app. I used to use it , but then something went wrong with my phone so I had to delete my cache save data. Witch meant that everything was gone. Then when I tried to reinstall the app, it said that my phone wasn't compatible.

The app is good overall. The only two problems i have is that the app glitches at random times and messes up the arrangement of your frames and if you add more than one sound effect it would make all the sounds come one after the other cutting each other off.

I LOVE this app!! It is easy enough for a kid to use without any help and has many features to help you create and edit your videos! I think it is better than the updated version. Plus, it has no annoying ads and 'premium features' that you have to spend money on.

This app crashes every time I try to create a stop motion animation. I can veiw my gallery, but the app crashes after I press the button to create a new vid. It worked 2 to 3 months ago, but doesn't work now. I will be using a different stop motion app.

Every time I try to play a video I made, the app crashes. and the audio plays at the beginning even when I put it at the middle of the video. I love stikbot, but I can't rate the app higher until these problems are fixed.
