It’s Just Like Having a Tour Guide in Your Car™

WHAT TO EXPECT:
This tour features 2 of Utah’s most magnificent parks, both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. The highlight of each park is their incredible geological formations. In Zion it’s the massive near vertical rock walls that line the canyon carved by the Virgin River. For Bryce, it’s gazing down from the rim of the Amphitheater and trying to absorb the presence of thousands of hoodoo formations.

Your tour includes both parks and the 1.5 hour drive using Highway 89 that connects them. The tours begin as you approach either Zion or Bryce Canyon, you can begin at either, or even join the route along the way if you are arriving from Grand Canyon North Rim.

The commentary highlights all of the best location of viewpoints and has information on many of the popular hiking trails you may choose to explore. And the region has a rich collection of stories of characters who framed the history, the Native American’s who came before them as well as providing background of the amazing natural wonders.

Shuttle buses operate in the busiest sections of these parks. You can take this tour with you and continue listening if shuttle bussing is mandatory during your visit.

WHAT YOU’LL SEE:

Some of the highlights along the route include;
• Zion Canyon including all stops on the Canyon's Scenic Drive
• Bryce Canyon Amphitheater
• Bryce Canyon 18-mile Scenic Drive
• Highway 9 switchbacks and Tunnels
• East Zion & Checkerboard Mesa
• Red Canyon
• La Verkin Overlook
• Grafton Ghost Town

BATTERY USAGE:
++ Continued use of GPS/Location Services in the background increases battery usage. We strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger. Avoid using a direct connection to the USB port of a rental vehicle.

DOWNLOADING:
The apps are larger in size in order to work offline. You must be on wifi to download as the store may block the download over cellular networks.

I cannot say enough great things about Gypsy Guide! We have used this app for several national parks and will use it again and again. The guides' voice is pleasant and he is sure to tell if all the really amazing places to pull over and hike ir just view the beauty. 100% worth using!

this was a great way to experience our national parks. The directions and tips were very helpful. We loved the history and stories. the bad jokes were great too! we have done 3 of the tours now and plan on doing the Yellowstone tour as well!

Love these Gypsy tour apps. Location tracking works well, info shared is interesting and fun, really enhances the park experience. I've tried three different apps of this kind, but Gypsy is the best. Worth every penny, and cheaper than a guide book that I would have to read from as we drive, missing out on watching the sights.

We named the app's narrator guy Bart. Unfortunately we didn't start using the Zion/Bryce combo app for our first stop, Zion NP, but we used it for Bryce later. We 1st started using the Canyonlands/Arches app. Absolutely loved it. Worked nearly flawlessly, only pausing a few times to find our location. Bart gave very useful itinerary for each Park. He also gave interesting commentary about the park history, geology, flora, fauna, etc. Bart even threw in some humor now and then. Highly recommend!

GyPSy guide is a must of all travel to any of the parks or sites they have tours for, you learn so much! Ever get to a huge national park and go.. "We're here, now what?" GyPSy guide takes away that stress.. just drive on through and trust that they will point out all the best sites and trails. Don't leave home without it.

Another wonderful addition to the series. Will not road trip without a gypsy guide if available. Enjoy the commentary on the way in/out, tips, and recommendations. This combined with the NPS app are a must.

These guides are exceptional!!! I really hope they expand & make more of them. Such a great source of information. We would have missed some great stuff without it.

Gypsy Guide is the best! We have downloaded many and we always search to find what ones are available when we travel.

We use gypsy whenever we go to a new national park. Gypsy makes it easy to see all the best views and gives a great history lesson on the park.

$10 may seem expensive, but it's well worth it. We buy the Gypsy guide everywhere we go that there is a guide for.

What a great app. Especially enjoyed having commentary between the two parks. I hope they do the Blue Ridge Parkway in the future.
