Great app for quickly checking multiple choice answer sheets. Takes grading time down drastically. Well worth the $7 annual subscription. I really like that there is a free trial version where you can scan 100 papers a month to test it out before subscribing. Subscription is not an automatic renewal, which is also a plus. I haven't tried the custom answer sheets yet, but it appears that there is an option to include questions where students bubble in their own values, akin to those on the SAT.

It works better than I thought it would. I double-check papers to make sure they are scored correctly, and I have been amazed at how rarely I have to make a change. It is generally only when someone does a poor job of erasing an old answer and it registers as two answers. I love how simply the app is. The important options are available and it isn't bloated.

This app is awesome. The data I get about each question is great. Room for improvement: 1. Scanning is sometimes realy difficult. There are times that I could grade by hand in less time than it takes to get a scan. 2. There should be an easier way to delete old tests from my device. Doing it individually is a pain. I would also like to see the subscription service include backup on the could even after I delete the test from my device.

I've been using this app for almost two years and I love it (and so do my students)! There are some frustrating parts (such as creating custom sheets and adding tags to questions), but I feel like the amount of time I save far outweighs them. I do really wish that student tags were included in their PDF export of the assessment. Right now, you can see the tags on individual student pages online, but it doesn't print with the PDF itself. We align everything to standards and it would make that part so much easier.

Very versatile app. I don't need to use our scantron machine anymore! The only options that I prefer I could see in the app: 1) To be able to read the students name from bubble sheets so when i export the scores, i could have my students name as well. 2) To be able to export the item analysis of the questions. Other than these two issues, it is a great app. Oh, by the way, the price is very good and affordable😊 Thanks

Changes the whole game. I can grade one class in about five minutes instead of about an hour, or longer depending on the length of the assessment. I can utilize the statistics and feedback to change my instruction to accommodate to my classes with significantly greater ease than before. Honestly this is a must-have for teachers. Plus it allows students to practice fine motor skills while bubbling.

This app has revolutionized my grading because now I can have an item analysis for every quiz that we take. If I edit an answer in the key, it adjusts grades. I can print out my own custom bubble sheets. I dont have to wait for the scantron because I can use my phone. All of the results are stored. If there is a discrepancy then I can check the image saved on my phone. Awesome awesome app. Love it!

I tried the free version for one day before I invested in the paid version. This is the most useful app I have. Not only does it grade tests on the spot, but it provides useful data. You can print out reports for students. You can tag questions and get specific results about each students strengths and weaknesses. Customer service email response was about one hour and quite helpful.

It is a very handy app that helps grade multiple choice quizzes and tests. I like the analysis features you can look at on the website. I find that when I print the answer sheets they are very light which makes it hard to copy. I have used the darkest printing features and still have to adjust the copy machine to darken the print off. Otherwise, the copies will be too light making it difficult to scan those answersheets.

Love, love, love the app. Worth every penny in hours of grading, feedback and customizability. It changed the way I design tests and quizzes; I can make more frequent assessments that take minutes to grade, it gives excellent and immediate feedback by identifying bad questions, mistakes in the key, and duplicate scans. Students don't get to use electronics, but I have all their answers at my fingertips, saved. Customer support is timely and knowledgeble. Thank You!

This is the most underrated and amazing scantron app. I've been paying the yearly fee for 5 years now I think, The customization oltins and ease of printing make it very easy to give large form exams or even spur of the mimen top quizzes or surveys. I would recommend to any teacher out there. Scanning with your phone is awesome as well, GradeCam, while integrated with other features, just has too much rigidity for me. The camera rarely wigs out but it does sometimes, I just close it out and re-launch. Usually no issue after that. I love it!

This app has been a huge time saver! My only complaint is that I can not scan papers with my tablet camera. Scanning in general seems a bit unstable. You have to line it up just so but sometimes it takes it right away and gets a blurry shot. In addition, it does not always record all of the student answers so I have to go back over them any way.

Incredible time saver! I teach AP Euro and US histories, and this is amazing for multiple choice. I also am an SAT tutor. This app is a lifesaver. I love it and my students love it. Having the ability to give immediate feedback is incredible. Cloud storage works really well, only a few seconds to bring it up on the computer. Has made my school year SO MUCH easier. I love you, developer. For reals. I will purchase this every single year with no qualms ever. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent product that works incredibly well. The fact that it's free up to 100 scans a month is just icing on the cake! I use it for grading a 100 question test and it has made what was once a huge ordeal a very simple process. Recently I had a few technical difficulties and John at ZipGrade replied super quickly and was able to get my issue resolved in a very short time. Definitely worth the download!

The camera is a little sensitive and takes pictures too fast at times which results in incorrect scores. Also it would be nice to have the ability to go back to the quiz or main screen after scanning quizzes without having to close the app. However overall it's a useful way to grade and collect data.

I use the android version and my teaching asst. uses the i-version, with no problems going back and forth. ZipGrade has streamlined our grading and saved us hours of walking to and from our campus scoring office. Easy to set up and use. Helpful analytics for understanding the fairness of your exams. Allows multiple versions of an assessment, which is great for large classes and those who have wandering eyes. Many other features too. A superb value for the price!

As a student, the app does not favorably work for me. I would like to scan my own papers to test if it would read my answers appropriately despite of erasures. In my experience, the app is too dependent on taking on-the-spot images through the rear camera. It would've been nice if I can scan taken pictures as well, considering there is a pandemic and these sheets of paper are physically inconvenient to be delivered to teachers. Just saying. Overall, a nice concept and use of smartphones/tablets.

Being a teacher for 12 years already I lost count of the hours I spend on grading. Thanks to this app I have more time to do other things. Even though there are already scantrons and machines this app makes it more convenient and efficient. No more having to buy scranton because you can easily print them out customized to your needs. Being a math teacher I love the new free response option.

Great app for a SUPER reasonable price. Easy to use. Love that I can tag each question or entire assignment. Exports data that is perfect for longitudinal studies of student progress. Customer support is great. Even though I have had no iasues with software, I had some questions about data formats and they have responded to every query ..

Nice app! Affordable and thought for the busy teacher that wants things fast and without problems. Unfortunately it has some mistakes, during my scanning a test, the score changed twice, so it means that it didn't recognize the first marks on the test during the first scanning.

Please do not use green and red color in the item analysis. It is very difficult for us colorblind to know the difference. Use yellow and blue instead

I've been using this app for at least 3 years and I love that it makes my job easier, not to mention that the yearly subscription is very affordable especially for us in a developing country. I would like to suggest that there also be additional darkness options for the PNG formats of the answer sheets since the "bubbles" are barely visible when the sheets are reproduced by the risograph machine in our school.

It was and still is a great app. However, recently, using the online quiz, your server keep on crashing. Many time I could not connect and my studends are not able to connect to the students portal. The connection is unstable. Ease fix the problem as the online option is what I need right now

It is a very useful tool for teacher who want to save time when grading multiple choice assessments. I especially like the analysis features where I can check how my students did. I can see the general graph of their results and what questions were missed the most.

This is the best thing since sliced bread! Not only is it a huge time saver - even over scantrons since I don't have to go to the office to grade them - the item analysis is fantastic! I can give a quiz one day and then review information, that my students obviosly didn't get, with them the next day.

I save a lot of time grading with this app! I would like to get shorter, easier to print summaries of what students missed, and be able to do an item analysis where I can jumble answers to questions instead of just the question order, but overall it is very helpful!

A great app. Well worth the $! The only downside is that while the UI is pretty intuitive, there are functions and issues that can be difficult to determine what to do. The FAQ is not really up to date and doesn't answer some usage issues or questions. A lot of "let's see if this works". Some things you have to do in the app, others on the website. A better and updated FAQ would go a long way to make this a better app.

so, so, SO worth it. Easy to use, easy for students (no confusion or tech problems for them because the quizzes are on paper, they don't have to know or care), and it doesn't just grade the quiz, it knows which student took it and uploads their grade to an online spreadsheet. plus it does item analysis... awesome 👍

Good for quick grading of students' work, MCQs. The instruction on use especially multiple quizzes and classes and linking them to one answer key seem not clear. There is advantage in keeping the classes still separate and not merging them as one large class since analyses on the classes are needed for instructional purpose.
